(highly recommend you guys use headphones while listening to harris) although this song has a fast beat throughout, the lyrics are entirely the opposite. the whole song is from anbuselvan's (suriya) perspective. maya (jyotika) has been kidnapped and he has been shot and is nearly close to death and he is wondering if maya is alive or where she is and the whole song the lyrics talk about that from his perspective. as u can see anbuselvan throughout the song has a worried sad face. do check the english translation of this song. the song has a lot of symbolism even in the choreo and costumes this song is a masterpiece in terms of the composing and lyrics and KK's voice just made it even better. miss him!

I suggest you guys to watch this movie . This was by Gautam Menon and at the time it came out, it was a trend setting cop movie in Tamil cinema. There had been nothing like that before , and this movie led to a hoarde of cop movies coming out which were heavily influenced by this movie. And to add to that,if you watch this movie, the magnitude of this song will really sync in . It's such a painful song, once you watch the movie and understand the context.

Harris has some great songs to his credit between 2000 to 2010-12 I would say. He may not be the best creative composer i would say.....but he certainly is one of the best music arranger and mixer. The sound quality stands out in his songs and he did take it to the next level...
Harris has got some stereotype breakable mixes. The one who took the bass vocals of female singers and the trend started from there (Vaseegara). might be he uses his own formula of arranging but that doesn't mean he's not the best at creative work. Many works of him are underrated TBH
