- Flatbush Zombies are finally back, after quite the hiatus, with their new album "Vacation in Hell." Prior to the album's release, we had the trio up at our office in NYC to chop it up about the artwork, the studio sessions, the features on the album (as well as features they're looking to get in the future), being respectful to other artists and giving credit where it's due, plus a lot more goodness!! Kopec_21 Run DMC had 3 members, but Jam Master Jay was not really a rapper though. A Tribe Called Quest actually had 4 members, & Public Enemy had like 5. Three 6 Mafia is 1 of the best groups ever, but they began with 6 members. De La Soul is cool, but they're aren't really my cup of tea... just as well as Digable Planets, Little Brother, Slum Village, Poor Righteous Teachers, Fat Boys, Dilated Peoples, Company Flow, & Black Moon were all dope. They all just fit into the same conscious rap category to me, which FBZ runs that lane in hip hop trios in my opinion. I lived in Houston for 6 years, so I know all about the Geto Boys but they aren't really that nice lyrically to me... besides Scarface of course. Same thing goes for Naughty By Nature, Treach was the only true emcee in my opinion. Only crew I really feel bad about leaving out are The Beastie Boys, & the only group I may consider replacing with another is Westside Connection. Other than that, I'm fine with the choices I chose & have legitimate reasons why I didn't pick others as options.

arnoldo escalante - The audio quality was not the best, but honestly, 10 years ago I wouldn't have noticed that. The quality in video and audio has really improved in general and I think we've just grown accustomed to hearing higher quality recording and audio. What would you rather have: this video w/ bad quality audio or no video at all? That's how I see it, i'm grateful.
