Some have asked "What is the point of an e-Strider?"
Answer - Graduating from the original StreetStrider to the new e-Strider is a bit like learning to ride a bike when we were young. We first walked from place to place and then learned to ride a bike, which greatly extended our range to go to places much farther away. Both walking and bike riding gave us exercise but the bike became a significant tool or vehicle to actually commute and travel. The original StreetStrider provides the user with a REAL full body workout while traveling some limited distances. Because the e-Strider has no throttle, it is not possible to just stand idle on the e-Strider and go anywhere. The torque sensing system on the e-Strider monitors the user's muscular effort and the controller directs the motor to provide assistance in direct proportion to the user's effort. So, you still get a REAL full body workout while you travel much further and faster than ever imagined. Thus the e-Strider becomes an advanced vehicle for traveling distance for a workout and/or for commuting. Everyone who has tried the e-Strider has been amazed how quickly they adapted to the new found extended range, like when they first learned to ride a bike.

Do you steer with tilt like a skateboard? Then you have to learn to do it in such a way that I don't wobble while driving, because then I'm moving on a wavy line.
