Corn, pumpkin, Benito flakes, mushroom, broccoli, more mushroom, Mochi?, shrimp, octopus, another type of shrimp, and then batter (rice flour with dashi stock and water.) That’s all the Ingredients I saw. I’ve made takoyaki before and it’s pretty straight forward. Personally I put in a big thing of shredded cheese and come chili (small amount) for a kick.
Its not too much oil, they just use optimal heating technique to cook. It wont make the oil work optimally but less sticky on the food. Beside, not every people could eat takoyaki with japanese style which is mostly half cooked inside (half raw). You need to cook it in a lot of oil with optimal heating fire so it could be fully cooked well. Even me personally always got my stomach hurt after eating half raw japanese food.
Wowww yummmiiii this food i like every sunday i go to town i always buy this takoyaki but i dont know how to make but now ommm i try to make it 😊😉this food i like takoyaki👍
Dora Hadain Batter is rice flour, water and dashi mixed to a pancake batter consistentcy. Closer to the watery side since it’ll cook better. The ingredients are all super small: Corn, pumpkin, broccoli, shrimp, mushroom, octopus and I add cheese. Properly oil up the mold and let it start bubbling before putting in a tiny amount of batter then pile in your ingredients. Then follow as the video does. A lot of people are upset about cutting up the takoyaki but they clearly never had it. It’s piping hot inside and would take way too long to cool inside, making the outside go bad. Plus these are giant takoyaki the size of a fist. You want them small enough for bites. The dressings are Kupie (Japanese) mayo and hoysein sauce (sweet salty dark sauce). I add a dash of soy sauce and a SMALL sprinkle of chili flakes. Typically eaten with toothpicks but you can use whatever. Enjoy!
Wow, Om nom nom. Those Delicious King Takoyaki street stall offerings look seriously amazing. The best way to fill a hungry belly. Taiwanese takoyaki's are huge, piping hot inviting yummy cuisine. 😋🍄
And they were careful to put the same amount in each one and they didn't skip one by going too fast, other takoyaki posts raise my anxiety level when they do that...lol
I feel like this isn't even Takoyaki anymore. Tako means Octopus. Where is the Octopus? I think the optimal Takoyaki has the perfect ratio of perfectly cooked octopus, a crunchy golden shell, generous amounts of Dashi, Mayo and Takoyaki Sauce, all at a nice heated, off-the-stove temperature. Yummy!
Whoa I can’t believe how much they fit in them! Also I liked seeing the chef fix their mistake when those two takoyaki were a little burnt - it’s good to see what to do when problems happen 🥰❤️
only thing not in those was the kitchen sink .... looks tasty though .... bet you could do a breakfast version with bacon eggs ham and what not too .. since the batter is basically a pancake recipe
Hmm the amount placed into the takoyaki was impressive and they did look delicious dont get me wrong, but I am rather leery of this. The Japanese style used less oil and looks less greasy at the end. I feel like I would only be able to eat one of these and that would be all for the day. While I do admire the diversity of cuisine from various regions, I sometimes feel it gets lost in translation when someone tries to go bigger.
What a crazy food, first you try to get them into a ball shape, then you cut them.. but anyways it looks so delelicious! Here in germany there is no possibility to try takoyaki! What a shame. I will have to do them at home.
Takoyaki (たこ焼き) literally translates into "Octopus Fried" or "Grilled Octopus". Now I have seen some variations in my travels in Tokyo but never have I seen something like this...
This is the first time I saw Takoyaki 🍪🍪🍪 being cooked with plenty oil.
LOL I LITERALLY just posted a Takoyaki Video on my channel. Probably the CHEAPEST in the world as well. $1 = 8 BALLS

Thank you for a very nice video of a giant takoyaki at a Taiwanese stall 👍

Looks yummy 😋 and i like the technique they fried the meaty filling 1st before adding the batter
Wow. The filling really is packed. Amazing! I want to try some😋
And they were careful to put the same amount in each one and they didn't skip one by going too fast, other takoyaki posts raise my anxiety level when they do that...lol
Complicated food , looks delicious😀😁
These should be called "Deep Fried Takoyaki"
What is this called? It looks pretty good
I wonder how is that taste if they stuffed many variance things like that?

The amount of seafood is so generous... Looks so yummy 🤤

Looks delicious
So many yummy stuffings in Taiwan, excellent skills to make these jewel balls, the Japanese version seems too economic in comparison.
Whats the purpose of making it circle?
It looks delicious 😋
looks delicious, one of the coolest streed food videos :)
only thing not in those was the kitchen sink .... looks tasty though .... bet you could do a breakfast version with bacon eggs ham and what not too .. since the batter is basically a pancake recipe
were is the location ? address of this incredible street cart?

I like their cleanliness while cooking this. Best takoyaki :)

It's look soo delicious and oily at the same time 😂
What's the use of making it round if you'll serve it into pieces
This stuff always looks so good, wish there was a list of ingredients besides the obvious ones.
The ingredients are always up to the Chef, you can add ANYTHING you wish to add
Daija M Williams
This looks good, going to Taiwan soon, definitely will go look for the stall hehe
"What do you want on your takoyaki?"

I mean, they put it in a cup and ended up covering it in other things anyways, so it seems that they more so wanted convenience over looks.
looks good but what is the point to do it in a ball and next cut it?
I like this method ... adding things before the batter goes in.
