Maaan, I was skeptical of the comments cus you've always delivered full on epicly energetic sets but this one didn't hit like you used too. I appreciate the different variated approach but you went too much into it and there was too much variance to the point that you took away the core element of hardcore but I think the issue was the lack of consistency. There are too many build ups, breakdowns, not enough actual hardcore going on. Your set at boomtown in 2019 was spot on. First time I saw you live and that was just pure frenchcore madness for the full set with basically no breakdowns or buildups. The guitar seems to massivley overtake some of the tracks where you hear 80% guitar and 20% of your tracks. (That could also be my headphones.) I see what you were going for but maybe work on it more before playing it live again. idk. Bring back the Dr.Peacock Thunderdome (2012) days that was peak for frenchcore. More kicks, less music ;)
@@destinysquad1726 Yes, I agree with you but hardcore has always been about building up atmospheres through the Kicks. They are literally the 'core' aspect of hardcore. take them away and you might as-well be listening to some edm/generic bullshit. If you want hardcore with more melodies. Check out artists like darren styles, DJ SY, recon, squad-e, slipmatt, Mark-eq, hixxy, gammer, s3rl, ben nicky, technicore, styles, whizzkid...bro, there's fucking loads of happy cheesy melodic 'story telling' hardcore aritsts out there, even in the frenchcore world artists like maissoullie, billx, floxytek. Why not dip into the tekno scene that also crosses isn't the frenchcore scene too. There are LOADS out there mate but you're clearly new to the hardcore scene and know absolutely nothing about what you're listening too. Yes dr peacock does have melodic tracks but for the hardcore scene having a breakdown and a buildup every 5 seconds isn't hardcore or what the hardcore scene is known for. I'm all for artists getting experimental but at-least do it under a new alias, cus otherwise the original fans are just gonna be like 'wtf happened' There's a lot more to the hardcore scene then you know and I hope i've helped. enjoy the hunt.

I think it's great to put emotions, build ups & melodies into the genre. Peacock really wants to tell a story and not only producing kicks :P
