Glad i could help..you'll definitely notice an improvement in fuel consumption and general response of the engine once you've cleaned off the carbon deposit
This video is amazing! I have audi a7 3.0 BiTDI with 157 000km. Having p0299 underboost issue, changed the turbo but the car is still getting limp mode. I read online that this is the issue, well done and thank you for showing. I will be doing this tomorrow! great video, hope this fixes my underboost issue!
Next time choose a better angle for the camera...would be loads more help if we could see what you were doimg and where each bolt it even though it isnt the most complicated work
I scraped off the heavy carbon deposits 1st using a long scraper tool or flat head screwdriver. Followed by Mr muscle oven cleaner..allow it to soak for 10 mins...then agitated and scrubbed with various brushes and finally rinse off with cold water to clean the components.
question: its not in your video so I wonder if you had the same issue. The hose (off in your video already) on the right is clamped down very weirdly on my A7 competition. Its not just a clamp but underneath the clamp there seems to be another super tight clamp I cant get off. You had that too?
No there was no symptoms as such...I did notice poor fuel mileage but I was also curious to see the conditions of the intake pipe so I took it apart during my oil service to inspect.
I purchased an 2016 A6 TDI with 52,000km and now have 80,000km, I have so much carbon build up its just about blocked. Can 80,000km do this much blockage? Im begining to think that maybe this car has way more kms on it than the Odometer says. I'm suspecting dealer rolled back the kms...
It can happen specially if car has been driven around town a lot of the time or a very poor quality of fuel has been used. You can periodically use some fuel additives to reduce the build up of carbon in those areas
Solid video; thank you! Did you end up removing and cleaning the intake manifold as well, or just stop at the end of the video's coverage? Nevermind.... I read a few comments and quickly found your answer to that! :D I'm currently working on my Q7's TDI, and I'm finding removal of the manifold to be waaaaay more difficult than anyone makes it out to be in the videos. They like to say, "okay, now remove the intake manifold..." *poof* cut to the manifold out. Apparently, the hours of cursing and sweat, perhaps even a stab of blood spattered here and there, are not worth the mention. LOL
I just bought a 2016 3.0 tdi A8 with 100,000 km on the clock, this video was very useful for the future, keep them coming!

Replace N75 Valve...I just had the same issue
I dont have that on my engine. It was vaccum leak from the egr pot for me
exactly the video I was looking for. Thank you good sir 🙏🏼
You're welcome 😊

Agreed. I will definitely adjust the angles while recording in future.
Very helpful mate.. Gona do my bitdi tommorow..
Thank you for the detailed video.
Why your don’t clean full intake?
At the time of making the video, I had bought a 2nd hand intake manifold which was clean enough and it was easier to install that one.
Superb sir thank you for filming this. Do you think brake cleaner may of worked to clean or was it better to carefully use mr muscle oven cleaner?

Hello, do you mean the hose coming out of the intercooler into the intake air manifold?
@ yep, thats what I meant. It actually turned out to just be another metal sleeve sorta guiding the hose clamp. I ended up getting it off!
My hero without a cape 🫡i have a q7 tdi 199k miles in the middle of cleaning intake
Hi sir can this egr issue cause dipstick blow white smoke?
No
Hi there!
Did you had to do any sort of adaptations following removal and putting it all back together?
Did you had any faults coming up afterwards?
ruclips.net/video/lzqlhWynP8Y/видео.html
No adaptations were required as I didn't change any of the throttle body valve or egr valves
Was any symptoms in that car, before you cleaned..?

Bro I couldn’t see the fuel line smh had the neighbor kid come over and help my wife remove it smh 🤦🏾♂️
Very helpful video. Good job!
Did you take out the intake manifold neck aswell?
Unfortunately I ran out of time that day but I will hopefully do that in the next few weeks. Will make a video on it.
Какой пробег у машины? У меня audi allroad c7 3.0 tdi и я начал беспокоится , мой пробег 270000 тысяч километров
Mileage at the time was 78500 miles
Nice clothes 😂
