that's what I think too. my main account has sporadic black borders and not even others cause I am too lazy to beat the beginner modes on a lot of maps. it looks real clean to do it in order like this.

I agree with both sides, love that youre doing them in order,,, but it would be a better experience if it was an alternating difficulty, since more money = faster progression. Series is awesome either way

I don't know if you knew but if you place the sniper monkey on the water tower it has range over the entire map! Yes you can place a monkey on the water tower or whatever it's called
Primary is well rounded. It can pop all bloon types and is cheap for how effective it is. Military has global range and also excels at popping all bloon Magic monkeys have great up front power. Support improves the strengths of the other types.

I havent been strictly using these videos as a guide, but they've given me motivation to start black bordering the easy maps, at least. I gotta say, if you're looking for a good speedrun strat, I've found top path glue gunner + tack zone at the very front of the map with a cripple moab sniper lets you literally delete everything without seeing it, even on CHIMPS and Impoppible. Def recommend trying it
Thats the strat I used in the town center vid last week! I didn't use cripple cause I didn't want to stall too much but I had some bad luck with it lol. Great strat tho!
Stumbled on this series after doing a fresh start on Xbox since I kinda had to, and I think I can safely say I’m starting to hit the “profit” phase, where I have all heroes unlocked, so I can only really spend monkey money on monkey knowledge or skins for heroes. The light at the end of the tunnel of having an excess of monkey money is starting to get brighter every day. Level 117 too. Your video even inspired me to find a strat of my own for chimps that im actually pretty darn happy with. Just gonna need to figure out another option for maps with no water Heh…
its crazy how in the beginning of the game you NEED monkey money but as you progress you have too much of it. haha. that is awesome that you are trying to find your own strats. That is what made this game fun for me!
Fun Fact: The Wizard bottom path's zombie bloons are one of the few projectiles/attacks in the game that can pap every type of bloon (lead/camo/purple/MOAB) without needing to be buffed.
Because of you I finally caved and bought btd6… I forgot that it comes with my Netflix subscription… you live and learn🤷♀️ I’ve been having so much fun!! Totally worth! And I’ve been using your videos as a guide, for what monkeys are worth it and the best paths for them.
I use this as an index, as to what can happen. Personally I think you’d have more success sooner on some maps by changing a couple towers to last. For instance a glue gunner works more effectively on last. Things with multiple projectiles, ninja, Druid, and frag cannons for example work better shooting at the back instead of constantly changing and aiming for the front.
For anyone watching this late YES I am following his strategies. In “impopable” I did two top path 4-2-0 farms and combined them into a 2-0-5 village and had all tier five monkey aces by round 90. Highly recommend it was awesome (make sure you have a M.I.B. nearby though)

Primary towers are really strong when you put them together, but they really fall short on some of the harder maps in this game. In my opinion, magic towers are definitely the best. Wizard and super monkey are easily two of the best towers in the game right now, and alchemist's top path has always been really good. Druid and ninja are also very solid.
If you give the engineers camo through the village, their traps can see camo. Useful for squeezing that extra little bit of money out of them and good crowd control on camo bloons
My easy deflation trick... use 0-2-5 dart monkey. It solos the whole thing provided the map only has one lane. And because you're only getting one tower, you save a bunch of time. Hope you see this, love this series 👍
Not exactly using this as a guide, but rather as motivation. Seeing you sacrifice placement for speed, makes me truly believe that I can do some black borders for myself. I did one already on the pumpkin map since it was the only one I was missing chimps alone on

Hey Dabloon! For the next nap I think a great strategy for impopable or chimps is Gwen with an army of 0-3-2 wizards because of the buff that Gwen gives dragons breath, ring of fire and signal flare. It is a great strategy.
For monkey farms, I discovered recently if you go bottom path 3+ middle path 2 the markets generate 25 money per tick and then 81 once at upper tier, unlike top path which seems to make no difference
I don't know if this is the intention, but I like using these as guides to help me black border maps. So far, I've black bordered 5 maps, and used your videos for 3 of them, and I'm gonna keep using them because it helps me to not lose, and losing sucks all the fun out of the game

I've an advice for you for deflation. Place a 025 Dart Monkey somwwhere central. Thats it. It works in most maps and not only you save time for placement crossbow master is very fast so you save time in the game too.

But the Monkey Knowledge (more valuable Bananas) which gives +30% instead of +25% to Valueable Bannas also means 0-2-3 generates more per round. Without it they produce the same so the cost efficencincy is basically irrelevent till you have that MK.
In the beginning you can probably use Sauda's ability (like spam it) to save some time since you can plant the swords at the front more often to pop the bloons faster.
It'd be interesting if you could add splits for all easy challenges, all medium, all hard, impopable, and chimps to get a good idea of what kind of pace you're on for each section. Not that this is a super-serious speedrun series, but it'd be neat to have more data points for nerds like me to compare.

Hey, figured I'd make this comment in case you see it: In case you might want to use it, I've found that a very reliable and fast strategy for deflation on any single lane map (and quite a few double lane maps) is to use 2 snipers and an alch. It's very fast and easy to set up and the bloons really don't make it far into the map so it's great for this speedrunning thing as well, taking 5 minutes or less on most of the maps depending on positioning. The strat is to use 2 snipers, one 2-3-0 and one 0-2-4. Then put a 4-2-0 alch in range of both (but closer to the 0-2-4 sniper I think it feels like it goes for the closer monkeys more with its buffs). You'll even have some money left over for sauda and some other stuff if you want to.
Imo better one is 2 2 0 village, 2 monkey aces 2 0 3, and 2 alchs 3 2 0, works on every map like a charm. No rng, no line of sight blockage, and also fast af.
Suggestion: Try to upgrade all Primary monkeys to tier 3 before getting crosspaths in non-CHIMPS game modes. Also try to get all of the tier 4 Primary monkeys you want before upgrading one to a tier 5. The "Come On Everybody!" monkey knowledge (seen directly above the mk for free dart monkey) grants a discount for all upgrades on primary towers if all of them are tier 3 or 4. Also, don't place different glue gunners next to each other. The effects don't stack, and you're most likely going to end up rendering one of them useless, because different glues have different levels of priority. That means that if a glue gunner with higher priority glues a bloon, the glue gunner with lower priority won't be able to affect the bloon at all.
You're sleeping on the 5-0-2 dart monkey juggernaut, he hits camo and leads, combined with Sauda you're set except moabs. Also, should have put those snipers on the water tower so they weren't blocked by the buildings.
Yea I am using this guide although chimps sometimes doesn’t work because I started a month ago and this was a strategy a year ago but they change things

It might not be fun but if push come to shove pod and apache prime can beat every single one line map on chimps, and many of the multi lane ones as well. Even works on most maps up to expert
I am trying to avoid the wizard for the earlier maps cause I think it would be too broken and boring just to place it at the front and use it for everything
Honestly, I've found that 4-0-1 is the better cross path if you're trying to set an alchemist up solely for buffing... that faster throwing upgrade makes him buff more often, meaning more buff uptime, and more consistency in what buffs you ultimately have during that uptime. Obv 5-0-0 is the best possible choice, but for lack of resources and/or unlocked upgrades... 4-0-1 is definitely more consistent than 4-2-0 IMHO

Make sure you are looking for high spots whenever you use sniper, towers can be placed on the water tower on this map

Test the Ring of Fire / Sharpshooter combo. Extremely powerful and fast for the first 50 rounds, especially with a primary village

A good place for Snipers is on the water tower. Their line of sight will not be blocked by the buildings.

The thing that messed with me the most was not putting a sniper on top of the water tower so that could see the entire map.

In case you might want to use it, I've found that a very reliable and fast strategy for deflation on any single lane map (and quite a few double lane maps) is to use 2 snipers and an alch. It's very fast and easy to set up and the bloons really don't make it far into the map so it's great for this speedrunning thing as well, taking 5 minutes or less on most of the maps depending on positioning. The strat is to use 2 snipers, one 2-3-0 and one 0-2-4. Then put a 4-2-0 alch in range of both (but closer to the 0-2-4 sniper I think it feels like it goes for the closer monkeys more with its buffs). You'll even have some money left over for sauda and some other stuff if you want to.

Imo better one is 2 2 0 village, 2 monkey aces 2 0 3, and 2 alchs 3 2 0, works on every map like a charm. No rng, no line of sight blockage, and also fast af.

I totally see what you mean by going for the bottom path farm, but get the middle crosspath-you make more money with an 0-2-3+ farm than a 2-0-3+ farm

I would suggest before starting a run going into the main menu upgrades and just upgrading everything you can do you don’t waste time during the game

Suggestion: Try to upgrade all Primary monkeys to tier 3 before getting crosspaths in non-CHIMPS game modes. Also try to get all of the tier 4 Primary monkeys you want before upgrading one to a tier 5.
The "Come On Everybody!" monkey knowledge (seen directly above the mk for free dart monkey) grants a discount for all upgrades on primary towers if all of them are tier 3 or 4.
Also, don't place different glue gunners next to each other. The effects don't stack, and you're most likely going to end up rendering one of them useless, because different glues have different levels of priority. That means that if a glue gunner with higher priority glues a bloon, the glue gunner with lower priority won't be able to affect the bloon at all.
You're sleeping on the 5-0-2 dart monkey juggernaut, he hits camo and leads, combined with Sauda you're set except moabs. Also, should have put those snipers on the water tower so they weren't blocked by the buildings.
Dude, on this map put the sniper on the water tower and you'll have global range with no blocking from the buildings
Yea I am using this guide although chimps sometimes doesn’t work because I started a month ago and this was a strategy a year ago but they change things

It might not be fun but if push come to shove pod and apache prime can beat every single one line map on chimps, and many of the multi lane ones as well. Even works on most maps up to expert
I am trying to avoid the wizard for the earlier maps cause I think it would be too broken and boring just to place it at the front and use it for everything

Obyn does give you money on chimps with the tree ability, I think thats the only source of extra money there
Honestly, I've found that 4-0-1 is the better cross path if you're trying to set an alchemist up solely for buffing... that faster throwing upgrade makes him buff more often, meaning more buff uptime, and more consistency in what buffs you ultimately have during that uptime. Obv 5-0-0 is the best possible choice, but for lack of resources and/or unlocked upgrades... 4-0-1 is definitely more consistent than 4-2-0 IMHO
