Hey, I did not test the Sigma 135mm yet. However, the 135mm EF was great. But the autofocus in combination with the right camera is such a bless nowadays. Daniel
What is the use of putting iPhone on the hot shoe? what are you using it for? I am beginner so anyone with an answer please let me know...also what equipments are you using at night? like the big white light etc. Great video btw and love your content. I am quite tempted to save up and buy 70-200 2.8
I wish the price of the 135 would be $1500 instead of $2100. Makes it a tough decision since I wanted to get the 135 :/. Now I'm thinking of getting the 85 1.2 instead, even though I like the 135 look more
Haha in sweden it’s 3300 dollar with our currency. Allways had a hard time admitting that i’m a little jealous of americans and their stupid cheap electronics 😢
@@kevknc6517 Don't know why its that much more expensive lol. It would probably be cheaper to just buy from america and pay international shipping. Prob cost an extra $200-300 tops
hello thanks for the great video. I have a quick question. I know the video is slowed down but how/what do you do to get that smooth aperture transition @ 2:15 … it honestly feels like you’re using a motor but clearly you’re not! haha😅thanks again
Hi, do you really need to change the aperture or just the ISO? ISO makes it a bit more easy. Jumping between apertures can be easily seen. It becomes more handy with the new RF 24-105mm f/2.8 lens, which does have an aperture control ring. Daniel
Well for wedding photography, they’re both specialty lenses. Mostly would use the two lenses strictly for church ceremonies. Which would make the f1.8 more valuable than the zooms at f2.8
But the price of the Canon RF is going up like a rocket. Currently 3249 euro, (3480 US$ equivalent). Who knows where it will end. A second hand one going for about 3200 US$.
The pricing of cameras, especially newer models and high-demand ones, can indeed fluctuate based on various factors such as market demand, availability, and production costs. It's not uncommon for prices to vary between regions as well. If the Canon RF camera you're interested in is currently priced at 3249 euros (approximately $3480 USD), and second-hand units are being listed for around 3200 US dollars, it indicates a high demand for the camera. Prices can be influenced by factors like the camera's popularity, features, and overall performance. If the current prices are beyond your budget or seem too high, you might consider waiting for potential sales events, discounts, or checking different retailers for competitive pricing. Additionally, as newer camera models are released, there may be a stabilization or reduction in the price of the Canon RF camera over time. When purchasing second-hand, be sure to check the camera's condition, shutter count, and inquire about any warranties or guarantees provided by the seller. Buying from reputable sources can help ensure you're getting a reliable product. Keep an eye on the market trends and consider exploring other camera models that may offer similar features if the current pricing is prohibitive. Technology evolves, and there are often viable alternatives available at various price points. Remember that camera prices can be influenced by a variety of factors, so it's always a good idea to do thorough research and make a decision based on your specific needs and budget constraints.
I liked the RF70-200, but sold it a while back. I've been using the Sigma 135 lens on my R5 for weddings, but always complained about it being so front heavy due to the adapter. So I put in my order for the RF135 months ago... still waiting on it.

Canon will never release an RF 105mm f1.4 and will not let Sigma release the RF version.

Any chance to get direct comparison when using RF 135mm set to f/2.8 and RF 70-200 set to 135mm focal length with f/2.8?

Given the rf 135mm 1.8 runs for the same price as the rf 50mm 1.2, is the rf 50mm 1.2 a better option?
