- UPDATE: Thanks to our viewer who pointed out the correct belt placement for this seat is under the armrest. Every booster seat and vehicle is different, so it’s important to follow all instructions carefully. Read the manufacturer’s instruction manual for your seat, and the portion of your vehicle owner’s manual on child restraint systems before you begin installing your high-back booster seat.
It’s Child Passenger Safety Week! Watch Child Passenger Safety expert Franklin Firefighter-Paramedic Jason Webb demonstrate how to install a Nuna Aace high back booster seat.

The shoulder belt should also be routed under the armrest as well!
Wow. So much for this guy being an expert.
DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS IN THIS VIDEO. The seatbelts are NOT routed correctly. The manual for this seat has graphics that are clear.
😳 We have this seat and it has lower latch attachments that are tucked into the back bottom. You pull a lever on the bottom and pull the latch system out of the back then flip the latch attachment bar outwards. Then attach them to the lower anchors. Also, both parts of this seatbelt should be routed underneath the arm rest where it’s red. So maybe this isn’t as straightforward as it seems. Please definitely read the car seat manual before installation.
You seem so nice and I don’t think you mean harm but this is totally wrong. Please re-educate yourself on proper seat installation, specifically the path the seat belt takes, and do an updated video. I really just came here to see how this seat works with angled headrests (i drive a 2015 expedition) but it isn’t properly installed so it wasn’t helpful to me. Please :)
