    High time to restrict and bottle neck the burgeoning 'student' intake. Many so called students hardly show up at uni and are busy at 'work'! I've seen this myself and these contribute to the housing crisis and to a lesser extent job crisis as well.

    Australia should consider developing and enacting policies aimed at optimizing its immigration system through measures such as diversification of immigrant origins or implementing caps. This approach is essential to manage the current challenges presented by the significant number of migrants, notably from India, which has led to pressures on the immigration process and contributed to economic impacts such as inflation. Such strategic adjustments would help ensure a balanced and sustainable immigration flow, contributing positively to the country’s growth and multicultural fabric.

    I'm already seeing a lot of people leaving and most of the people I know who are on Covid Visa have plans to leave. I want to know what excuse the government will use for Australia's problems when the immigrants leave, as is happening in Canada and the UK. And another thing that will make a lot of people leave is the increase in health insurance, i think you can make a vid about this as well.

      Govt usually let their people suffer then people will yell for help, then policy change again

    Hi,
    I am an Australian Citizen. My son is a PR holder and is 21 years old. We moved out of Australia to pursue my son's higher studies. He had subclass 155 RRV (5 year) which expired in July 2023. As he was doing a full time college UG degree abroad he was in Australia only for few days in the last 5 years while he was holding the RRV.
    We have decided to move back to Australia once my son's UG course is completing in Dec 2024. Currently, we are abroad and wanted your expertise advice on the visa to be applied for my son so that he can travel back to Australia. Me being an Australian Citizen will that be good enough for him to show it as personal ties and get subclass 155 for 1 year?
    Part 2: If RRV subclass 157 and 155 is not feasible for my son, can we go with subclass 101 child visa? I am currently employed at abroad, and can show financial proof which I hold outside Australia to support my child for initial accommodation and finance.
    Any assistance here will be greatly appreciated.

    Do you have any data on students by age? I am keen to know the numbers above 35. These wont be getting the 485 visa hence drastically decreasing the numbers.

    What will happen to the people who were working for years here to be qualified for 482 and when they get their visa their occupation might be removed from the new core skill list? Does that mean they will not be able to apply for 186?
    We have been here for 5 years me and my husband and about to finish my PhD in two months. I will be 36 in September ! I already applied for 190/491 for customer service manager and did not get invited and they might remove this position from the new list! My husband is a service operation manager and his position might also be removed!
    It is unfair for people like us who are qualified and well educated and already have jobs here. While people can barely speak English have a PR and depends on Centerlink! What a waste of time and money.
    Please make a video about the new core list and what will happen to 482 holders!

      @sarah9029 Месяц назад

      @@ChannelAMEC but it will be a bad luck for thousands! Did you see the suggested three core skill lists? They are almost removing everything. It is not bad luck, it is the government being unreasonable. I watched all your videos and it is unclear what will happen to the people holding 482. You said it was a good thing that everyone will have the chance to apply for 186, then in the same video said that we don’t know if the new visa in demad will override the 482.

      @@sarah9029the sad reality is that the Australian government is looking after its own people first and immigrants/prospective immigrants will never been seen as a priority over the interest of the local population. I agree that this harsh and unfair but unfortunately it is the facts, there is an unspoken view that immigration to Australia is a privilege and not a right regardless of how much money and taxes you spend in the economy 😢

      @@sarah9029 Perfect example of foolishness. When they opened the gates back in 2022, they opened for offshore as well allowing thousands of people who don’t even know Australian culture and job market. Now they’ve realised that they messed up by opening the gates to offshore people and employees like us are suffering and waiting to get invited (never ending). Other hand you don’t want to be reliant on employer as well. What a waste! I have always been told that politicians don’t have mind and their words don’t make. Now I can understand that. Don’t worry, stand up with a bollard and make sure you got to Westfield everyday to fight a crackhead and you might yours as well.😂😂😂😂. I can understand why Australian GDP is less than Canadian GDP and other western countries, because top of ladder there are shitholes everywhere.

    Hi Carl, how about 491 and 494 visas? Will they reduce the time period up to 2 years to get the PR? It's seems unfair for 491 and 494 visa holders compared to 186 visa.
