This is going to be a beauty of a sweater.
I had physical therapy this morning for the rotator cuff surgery I had back in April. I’m working on a continuous granny square blanket to use up my scrap yarn. The hardest thing for me to learn in the beginning was how to make a slip knot! You are an inspiration to me and so many other crocheters. You have a beautiful spirit, Ms Kayla ❤

You asked what we were up to....I bit off more than I can chew. Creating pillowcases for an underprivileged children's camp. I need to make an unknown number; so I am trying to make 89. Thats the largest number they had attend. Each child will get one at the start of camp and take it home when camp is over. I am slow! They need them July 8th at 8 am.

We had our mid week service this evening at church which was really nice. I was working on a spring CAL while watching this video tonight. So glad you had a good time at crochet club. I’m finishing up a crocheted bo-ho purse and am getting ready to start the Flora Blossom Rectangle Blanket, by Jonna Martinez. The pattern is so pretty--I’ve never seen one like it. So I bought her pattern on Etsy and she also has a tutorial on RUclips for extra help. Now I just need to figure out my colors!😄

She had an excellent teacher. I had my bloods on Tuesday and they were good so had to give myself a methotrexate injection. Still need prednisone. I really like your sweater.
Hope you're not as sick after your infusion this time and no more power outages!!! I finished up another blanket --- it did not turn out square but I did a row all around the outside & that helped some. I swear my practice is NOT making perfect!! Oh well. I'm glad you mentioned folding laundry..moved mine to the dryer. I already had to wash it a 2nd time because I 'd forgtten it in the washer! Your sweater is going to be gorgeous ❤

Hi Kayla. So glad you and Big Daddy are doing good. I found a crochet designer from Australia that has pattern books. One series is Granny Square Academy Part one and Part Two. She has several granny Square books. Her name is Susan Husband. I am working through part one and the book is amazing. It has a step by step guide with detailed instructions and pictures. I got the books from Amazon. I am not sure if you can get them at the library. Can’t wait to see your sweater.
