I Tried Every Spice in My Kitchen on a Grilled Cheese

- In this video I'm showing off every spice I own by putting them all onto one grilled cheese sandwich. Some of these spices make a lot of sense on a grilled cheese, and some of them definitely don't... Is there such thing as too much flavor? Today we will find out.

Celebrate when u reach 500k
How about a series of videos where you create the perfect grilled cheese variation to go with different soups? You could include the soup recipes as well and show off some of your culinary knowledge and talent.
2024 LEAKER!!! BAN HIM!!!
oh this is such a good idea
@@b6nd4lc10n3rdiez lmao
Perfect would require the subject of inquiry to not have a dependency upon personal preferences that has a very large range.
Grilled cheese has it's core variables - type of fat used to brown the bread, type of cheese, type of bread. But this is just the beginning as we can get into the dips and sauces you might have with it (ketchup - as in a heinze commercial type, or a small batch spicy ketchup, or a garlic ketchup that is home made, and onwards we go with options that go beyond ketchup). And here in we get to the additional flavors we can add in - such as a secondary type of cheese that has a benefit in flavor complexity (maybe an asiago, or a parmasian). We can add spices - or we could infuse butter with spices first, or we could even make the bread such that it was infused with herbs and spices.
If there is a dish that just about anyone can take and experiment with: Grilled cheese is a good starter.
This is a really good idea! I Hope he sees this!
Since you all loved the $1 vs $100 grilled cheese video, I'm going to start posting longer videos on a semi-regular basis! I've got some really fun ideas, but please feel free to leave some suggestions!
maybe a breakfast grilled cheese like on a bagel? 🥯🧀
@@raven_windhoof1649 that is the best idea I’ve ever heard
Grilled cheese with dortios coding
@@raven_windhoof1649I’ve tried that 💀. It’s really good with mayonnaise.
Put some bacon on it too. 💯
You should have done 5 separate grilled cheese sandwiches for each categorical spices you had
From the title I thought he was going to do one spice per sandwich and just make a shit load
😂 i guess the weghed options was how. Long do i want on the toilet 😂
Or make a lot of very small sandwiches.
I thought he was gonna do 1 grilled cheese EACH
@@jakeenns6845 that would be interesting, see what works
Tyler is such an underrated and amazing content creator
You are so kind! I really appreciate your support 😊
Very real
Sooo truueee
Hes the best on tiktok and youtube
He is sooooo underrated!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
What I learned most from this is that I need to expand my spice/seasoning repertoire. Good job, sir. And you always make me hungry for sourdough bread.
Indian and Mexican spices are the best!
Make sure you click the "Notify Me" button on this video! I'm going to be watching the premiere live with you all and hanging out in the chat. It's gonna be a party!
Epic.
Click the notify me button this stream is gonna be insane
Please try a pizza and spaghetti grilled cheese!
I smells some 🧀
hi
Just so ya know, the greek spices at 6:31 translates to "barbacue flavours"
Hope my knowledge of greek helps!
I mean, I like spice as much as the next guy, but I’m not sure all the spices playing together on the same playground are going to get along 😊😅
i think its gonna be more of a grilled cheese per spice
oh boy was I wrong
@@Yoso_tv no kidding 😂
@@Yoso_tvdont comment till watch
I thought this could've been differently informative if you had cut about five grilled cheeses into tiny little bites and had just one spice per bite so you could compare and find out which spices surprisingly work well with grilled cheese!
Just about anything will work on a grilled cheese, but it depends on your personal tastes and what kind of cheese, bread, and toasting agent (butter, mayo, etc) you use.
A lot of people are disgusted by the idea of sweet & cheesy, but cheesecake is a thing. The right cheese can make just about anything work.
I think we would all LOVE to see a tikka masalla or butter chicken grilled cheese!!!!
KFC - 11 herbs and spices
Tyler - you gotta pump those numbers up, those are rookie numbers
An indian curry grilled cheese sounds amazing. I would love to see your take on one.
I went from not cooking anything to making Grilled Cheese twice a week thanks to Chef Tyler.
Having all those spices would be a dream come true haha! I love experimenting with odd combinations, my favourite was the time I made my mythical quadruple garlic sauce, with two special smoked garlics i had bought while I was on vacation, regular garlic and dry garlic. It's always fun to see your videos, since you always make combinations not many would dare to cook.
No one:
Chef Tyler: “SPICY”
edit: .
watching full videos from you is really good! i love these!
Thank you! I'm going to keep making them!
you should take this idea and make a custom cheese with all of these spices, then make a grill cheese with THAT because that would make it way better
ITS GRILLED CHEESE TIME!!!!!!!!
tomorrow tho
Sumac is such a delicious spice! Grew up eating Persian food almost daily, it's the best with kebab and kotlet ♡ Thank you for the inspiration to try adding more spices to grilled cheese! [Although..not the whole cabinet!] Great video 😊
Gf just got over of those mortar grinders and I love it. Ground peppercorns and they treated way better fresh! Look forward to buying seeds, herbs to try.
Great video as always, Tyler. It's really great to see you posting some more long videos on here.
There's more coming! I really enjoy making these longer videos
I absolutely love your content and this video is the type of shit i'm subscribed for. I also love how you shared some quick facts about a lot of the ingredients you used
Love the content man! I love food and I love creativity so it’s the best of both worlds. Maybe one day you could do this again but with a bagel as the bread and have a everything bagel seasoning grilled cheese!
Honestly Cajun and garlic added to grilled cheese is amazing. Especially if you put cheese on the pan after adding the butter or oil, adding the spices to that, it's absolutely my favorite right now. Now to go make one cause I made myself hungry
I was in a bicycle accident. This is me right now with mash potatoes since I can't eat solid foods. I have just been going through my seasoning cabinet and dumping half my cabinet into the pot of mash. I also add cheese to my mash. I am currently living off the stuff.
TYLER, make a video trying our favorite grilled cheese recipes!
This is one of my faves when it gets cold. I make it with butternut squash soup (just roasted squash, a LOT of sauteed garlic and shallots, butter, veggie broth, a little nutmeg and cinnamon, salt, & cracked pepper, and maple syrup if you're interested) then immersion blend that baby up. THEN THE GRILLED CHEESE -Havarti, aged white cheddar, smoked gouda, cured bacon, mayo on both sides of the inside (duh), AND maple syrup on the inside, too. We are also lactards in my house, too, so I use country crock plant-based butter sticks, and these cheeses all have either no or very low lactose content.
I love your channel and please keep doing what your doing great!❤
You always know it’s a good day when Tyler says two words - “Grilled cheese”
Yes
This was amazing! I found your channel via recommended shorts and I am now subscribed. Thank you for all the amazing grilled cheese content!
Showed up on my recommendations page and decided to watch this vid. Absolutely loved. Subbing, gonna watch all your other vids, and can’t wait for more
This video makes me not be afraid to mix spices !
Ur soo underrated I’m soo proud of you I Kane here when you had around 10k subs you’ve grown sooo fast😊
We can all agree that tyler is a great content creator
love your videos man keep it up :D
As a Persian who uses sumac all the time on kabob kubideh, good on you for having some.
I’m watching every single yours video until the end Bicol it looks so good
You inspired me to start my own grilled cheese business somewhere. I hope I'll be able to do it!
Great editing and camera work dude!!
What a dope video! When you open a shop, have an all spice grilled cheese sandwich with 1/3 of the amount & all items ground up referring back to this video and you have an interesting menu item that's for sure!🧀
Your channel is awesome man, love it
I bet this is gonna be the best video ever
You should probably lower your expectations. It's good, but definitely not the best video EVER
you are crazy and i love it.. i'm a new sub that has watched a bunch of your shorts.. merry xmass
i did like adobo with ground up dried guajillo and brown sugar for a shortrib grilled cheese once
It had cilantro, onions and jalapenos too
it tasted like i dont know, mexican style american bbq grilled cheese
but i was proud of myself for tasting what i made and deciding to add some sugar
it really brought out the flavor of the adobo and the spice of the guajillo
Do a normal Grilled cheese but combine all your condements and sauses for one epic sause
You should make grilled cheese using mozzarella cheese and a pizza base!! it would be so cool 😀😀
8:50 The crunch MANNN!
I would like to congratulate you for single handedly getting me addicted to grilled cheese with your videos
Same
Stickman
I would love to see you make the recipe that you originally got the pomegranate powder for!
WOOHOO time for grilled cheese
wow this is so cool it actually looks delicious to me
if somebody asks what im doing with my life i can respond with "im wasting my life watching someone make grilled cheese, absolutely worth it"
Bro this guy is so underrated. Love ur vids dude 😊
Thank you! I really appreciate that 😊
As a fellow Vietnamese, I’m happy that Tyler’s favorite food is Bún Bò Huề. ❤
It's so delicious. I hope to visit Hue one day and try it there!
I love your vids you are underrated and I am proud that I am a cheddar child❤
when you set down the first 10 I was like psh. “chef tyler.” then I saw the small deli cups 😂😂 dope shit
bro took “to the next level” to the next level
That was wildly entertaining. And unexpectedly so 😮
Fire sandwich, it’s gonna actually light on fire.
Lol
I am now hungry and great Video🤤
Id love to see some of your curry cooking.
"SEASONING! SEASONING! SEASONING" -Chef tyler re-enacting the best bobobo scene ever. lol 😏
inspired by the 'suicide soda', i did a similar thing back in middle school. blended together a roughly equal amount of each spice in the cabinet and made the 'suicide omelette'.
what i learned:
1) white pepper is an oppressively strong flavor
2) cinnamon shouldn't go in an omelette
I find it amusing that tyler, known for making grilled cheeses, has such a diverse palette in dishes
A spice combination so good it makes munster cheese tolerable and provolone a flavor.
“Your probably getting bored” NO! I’m the least bored I’ve been all day, keep up the great content
My dad saw a stat that said the average kitchen has 40 spices. He said that I probably have 140. I love your vids!
Puts a whole new meaning to an everything bagel.
You do this but put it in cheese. Shred it up cold, throw in the spices, mix it up, spread it on bread. Also use a good amount of cheese if you do this
Watching this like “stop! Stop! He’s already dead!” 😂 I’m so impressed lol
I might try this sometime
Nutmeg is so good with cheese! I use it a lot with mac and cheese and it goes super well :))
I needed to see this
Enough spices to own a small medieval country and he puts it all on a grilled cheese. Perfect content.
That looked so good that now I am going to eat a grilled cheese
Sheesh, that was crazy. As someone who loves spice, I approve of this sandwich.
hi!! spice recommendation: dukkah! it’s a cumin based blend from the middle east and levant, and it’s delish. my favorite use is using it on eggs (esp soft boiled w toast soldiers and dipping directly in) with salt :)
This was really silly, I love it
6:31 as a greek,i can confirm i have no idea what "ΓΕΥΣΕΙΣ ΒΑΡΒΑΚΕΙΟΥ" means, but it says its for feta cheese and salads so i assume its a type of and/or similar to oregano
Thanks for the help! I mostly use it in Greek salads so it seems like I’ve been doing it right!
This channel has been a hell of a find.
nothing will ever beat factory white bread and kraft singles
As someone who's pretty much only capable of making grilled cheese I see this as an absolute win
This man is a genius
How is Tyler not on 1mil unbelievable
I always did oregano on grilled cheese when I was a kid. It always hit the spot. You also gotta butter both sides of each slice of bread.
I'm eating homemade Indian curry on my lunch break as I watch this
tylers videos make me hungry
This is a better Idea than what I had thought it was, which was one spice per grilled cheese. Which would be an insane amount of bread and cheese
grilled cheese = ASMR
love your videos awesome content
Tyler is an amazing cook
Hearinh him praise "fabada asturiana" made my inner Spanish self proud of my country
You made me love grilled cheese
I wonder how 63 different grilled cheese one with each spice would compare.
I would love to see you make a curry grilled cheese!
I am an Ethiopian, so you earned a sub when I saw you added berbere to the sandwich.
i would just mix all spcies and then put it on tere. while not being as visually cool, it would be really interessting.
really good video! so underated
this is an actually really interesting idea
Imagine giving this to someone and just being like yeah this is a totally normal grilled cheese nothing to see here, and then see their faces when they take a bite 😂
Chef Tyler da GOAT
herbs de province go really well on a grilled cheese with tomato soup.
