Mazz, Please bring Jorge Padrón & Carlos Fuente, Jr. together in a video. About this collaboration. Those two men are living legends in the cigar industry.
Idk how monumental it can be when there is so little production and the boxes are $7k a piece so the bulk of the consumers that help build the brands cant enjoy
@@CameronLestagez absurd opinion. cars are already expensive as their own. padron and fuente has already been making an affordable options for more than decade now. better comparison is like hershey and cadbury collabing to make a 3 grand candy bar lmao
Hi Anthony. Ive been smoking Cuban cigars for 35 years now. Recently (8 months now) I got into the new world offerings. So, I’ve now come across your fine channel. Wanted to say thanks for the sharp and well planned etiquette. Not only this video but in them all. Real ones See real ones. God bless you good Sir. David.
My buddy had his bachelor party in vegas, and we hit the resorts world cigar lounge. Fuente was my first cigar. Ive been smoking a couple a week for the past 6 months, and ive since fallen in love with padrons. Having this cigar is definitely on my to do list. This has also become one of my favorite channels. Keep up the good work boys.
Jorge Padron is a member at the Gun Club I work at. He is a very down to earth and polite gentleman and it’s always a pleasure to see him walk through the front door. And you best believe we keep our Humidor stocked with Padron cigars. Much respect to Jorge Padron
The packaging is gorgeous! The stick looks delectable. And your description of the flavor notes has me licking my lips. I can almost taste it. Great video Gentlemen.
There’s something so inspiring about moments like in this video. It reminds me there’s always new opportunities and special things coming. Love the channel! I hope everyone is doing well.
Underrated collab cigar is the Diamond Crown Maximus. JC Newman X Fuente X Oliva Tobacco. Rolling and Dominican fillers by Fuente, Oliva grown Ecuadorian wrapper… fantastic smoke
Gents what a video. Hat off for both of you. Can only imagine what it would be, to able to smoke both of them. What a momentous to be in as a cigar aficionado.
You guys are the best ... I mean I watch and follow only 3 other cigar channels (top 3) but you 2 are the best every video every spirit pairing with a cigar is a testament
Excellent vid guys. Two legendary families producing the ultimate smoke to honor their patriarchs. Reviewed and smoke by 2 true classy enthusiasts. Love it👍🔥
Just throwing this out there, Imagine if they blended each other’s tobacco ? They put their own take on what each family grows….. that would be amazing
I was excited to see this, so much so I ran over to walnut to find out they didn’t have em 😢. Would have been my post Broad Street Run smoke. One day….Love the videos, cheers gents
Phenomenal job on this episode men 🤜🏽🤛🏽 I need to see IF my friends/ local cigar lounge can order this cigar blend pkg ✅ I CAN’T WAIT to smoke this cigar collab. I love Fuente cigars 💪🏽
This was awesome, especially the beginning. You guys were like 2 kids in a candy store (Fantastic) Great vlog guys... I enjoyed this very much... Thank you for sharing and letting all of us cigar enthusiasts be a part of this .. 🙏
So... let me say I LOVE the page and I'm a subscriber. I went out and spent the $7k on this release based on the post. I was not impressed, I like THE UNION with Tatajue and MFC much better. When are you going to review the Patron Black, I have a couple boxes from the US allocation and love THEM. YOU SHOULD REVIEW THOSE!!
We paired it with the AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes in a previous video. Look up our video titled "AJ Fernandez Bellas Artes Maduro Review | History, Tasting Notes, Whiskey Pairing"
Price is price 🤷🏽♂️ It’s all about the memory of enjoyment. Some folks have worked hard for years and a 200$ stick feels very rewarding. Don’t matter if your income is 40k or 15milli At the end of the day We’re all just smoking a cigar and having a damn good time.
This is featured on the cover of Cigar Aficianado: A Tale Of Two Families • September/October 2022 The cigar industry is no stranger to family-owned businesses, some of which have lasted more than a century. In this unique issue of Cigar Aficionado, we highlight two of industry's most lauded cigar companies, the Fuente and Padrón families, and the special joint project led by Jorge Padrón and Carlos “Carlito” Fuente Jr. to honor their fathers and industry pioneers José Orlando Padrón and Carlos Fuente Sr. We also take a look at 15 other cigar family dynasties who's industry success has spanned generations.
Quick question from a newbie, what do you think about a lighter that comes with what I call a “ hole punch “ for end of the cigar..is that good for getting a good draw off a cigar?
It's a special occasion cigar where you may buy 2 or 5 and a box if you can afford it. A couple to smoke and a few to age. Just like Davidoff year of the Rabbit which is around $100. It's a special occasion type of cigar.
Here's the thing. This is a once in lifetime release. One of a kind for padron and Fuente. When they are gone they are gone forever. It's not like it's a regular production cigar. The price tag is what it is. I don't have a problem paying for some singles to enjoy at a very very special occasion. These cigars are for the Industry workers shop owners and people who understand and respect and love the story of what these cigars represent and truly understanding.
That's really a personal decision. If you want to save them for a special occasion there's nothing wrong with that and these blends will age very nicely!
If I had an opportunity to smoke one of these cigars, I definitely wouldn’t influence the taste with any type of drink. Knowing the caliber of this collaboration. Just my opinion.
“Arturo Fuente and Padrón is priced at $7,115 per box of 40 cigars, roughly $178 per cigar.” So Gurkha handled the packaging and pricing? Can we hope for a 90% off sale anytime down the road?
For $178US it’s a lot but not that crazy considering what it is. If you’re a true aficionado it’s not that crazy to spend once a year on a cigar. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to have one in the next two years.
Decades and decades of trial and error to master their craft. A decade or more of aging leaves selected from the best of the best of the best crops. They took all the risk and deserve the reward.

A new release like this is like a brand new Jordan sneaker drop!
This brought a tear to my eye. Kinda just wanted to throw my cigar out the window, but not really cause I paid for it.
Quick question from a newbie, what do you think about a lighter that comes with what I call a “ hole punch “ for end of the cigar..is that good for getting a good draw off a cigar?
They're very handy and do just fine. If you have a larger ring gauge cigar just go for a figure 8 shape and you'll be good to go 👍
dang! I'm sure that is an amazing smoke.
My Padron from Holts was supposed to be delivered today but no. Hopefully tomorrow 😢
How far into a cigar would you introduce a spirit

It’s amazing for sure. But almost all cigar enthusiasts will never get the chance to smoke, let alone see one. Awesome regardless.
My local shops don't have singles, I would pay for a single, but I can't pay to have it shipped, and hope it arrives in 100% condition.
I wouldn't spend $150+ on a single cigar, I find it very greedy from cigar manufacturers to put such an insane price tag.
maybe if it came with a lighter or some swag. But for a single cigar, i’m good

They probably have to charge a ton or else they’d lose money on the R&D alone.

I imagine there being fine cigars and liquor in heaven. Happy smoking fellas.
That’s Fuentes rosado SG wrapper
I thought the exact same thing. The red hue is a giveaway. That Rodado wrapper is the truth.
Watching this while smoking a Drew Estate River Valley Nightshade😂
very nice. That "punta de lanza" is exactly a sign of perfect proportional rolling, perfect combustion and the smoker is pulling at the right pace.
Blue label??
Did I maybe miss it? Which cigar are they smoking, the cigar made by fuente or the cigar made by padron?
Yes and yes. One and the same.
I was under the impression there was 40 cigars total... 20 made by fuente and 20 made by padron? I thought they were different blends?
There are 40 cigars, 20 made by each. Mazz was smoking the blend by Fuente and Faccia was smoking the blend by Padrón.
I was excited to watch this after listening to Kendrick Lamar cook Drake like a Crockpot
