Nicer job! It's looking good. One think I like to do after grading is to tip the grader blade way back so the the back blade is dragging and the front blade isn't doing much. In my experience I have found that this will work well as a finish pass. Cheers!

Hmm, I’ll have to try that. I think I need to look into getting a hydraulic extension arm to use with my 3rd function Hydraulics. Thanks for letting me know.

Hello Jeff, we always use a landscape rake on our roads, never had a land plane, Nice work 👏🚜🇺🇸

Hi Larry and Robin, it is my first time using one: i think it worked really well. It beats trying to kill all those weeds. Thanks foe watching!

Great addition for the tractor. I have seen other RUclipsrs use the land plane lots of times. Very versatile tool, great for levelling driveways. Good luck with it.

Hey Jeff. The land plane worked very well for you. You did a fine job on the driveway.

Good afternoon Jeff, the land plane did a really nice job on your driveway. I was having a similar issue with our land plane. I adjusted my top link to the longest position and then started to shorten it until it was behaving just the way I liked it and not collecting too much gravel. I really enjoyed the video, have a great week, Ben 👋😎👍🍻

Hi Jeff, thanks for sharing. I wonder if the dirt and fines were a little damp and that's why it wasn't flowing over the blades as good as you wanted it to. I haven't used a land plane before, but they sure seem to be the tool of choice for driveway maintenance.

Yes it is really crusher run so that probably plays a part. When I got done there was sod caked to the blade. Probably won’t have that issue moving forward with a thicker base. Thanks for watching!

The secret to the land plane is getting the top link and height of the lower arms adjusted in the right position. Installing hydraulic top and tilt cylinders on my 3pt hitch was the best money I ever spent… it makes it easy to make quick adjustments.

I have been thinking about a hydraulic top link for a while. Good to hear that you like yours. I hope all is well Dick!

@@adirondackwoodsman the top link is a MUST! The tilt is great for ditching and crowning. The ability to change angles quickly from the seat is priceless. Do at least the top link Jeff. You will wonder how you ever got by without it.

It really is.i am going to add hydraulics on the back so I can tip it to be able to put a crown on the road
