Not his biggest fan, but WOW. Set out with a plan, every man in the race knew the plan (I did so I assume they did), the team executed it to perfection and when TP went, it was all over. Absolutely brilliant riding

Well said. It was never close on this parcours. Pogacar dropped Mathieu easily on the hills of Flanders last year. With the bigger hills of LBL it was only going to be worse.

@sandydennylives1392 exactly. Pogacar is on the list of best to ever do it already. He beat MVDP on Flanders, so why try to sell us a battle on LBL where Pogi has a serious advantage over everyone else? The only dude I see beating pogi on LBL might be remco with great team support and a long rage attack, tt to the end.
In Flanders I think it's a 50/50 shot for either mvdp or pogi, but LBL is like 95% pogi and 5% for mvdp if pogi is sick or falls off the bike.

Agree, I am 6ft and dropped my crank length from the standard 172.5 to a measly 170, moved my seat forward and it felt great. Now I am thinking of trying 165/167.5. Easier rotation, open hip makes a huge difference.

You don't have to wait. Inigo San Millán, Pogacar's coach has done many interviews on GCN. He explained the scientific basis of the work he's doing.
It's not even anything arcane, just no one thought to push stuff like zone 2 and carbohydrates to the rates he's invented.
You can also buy the bikes.
Just don't expect Pogacar-level performances from yourself without Pogacar-level work and talent.

In whatever racing sport, that is always the case. Having a single dominant rider is great for the rider, we feel happy for them, but as a fan, we wish it was a closer race. Tadej is unstoppable this year. It's too bad what happened to Jonas, I think it would have been another amazing Tour. But we can be hopeful.

You could just see when everyone else decided to ride for second place. The Big Six are all great riders but if the others don't want to work together and bring one of them back, we will continue to see single rider escape and dominance. That's bike racing and does not take away from Pogi's ability--or his team's superb performance to set him up today.
