Hi Andy, thank you for the beautiful and once again super clear guide to the 🌳 huggers. 🤓👍🏼 I'm excited to see how they play in the official ladder s4. 🥳 Well then, the 🌍 needs more Blood Bowl. ❤🏈 Let's get it done! 😎
Thank you as ever, very thorough and useful even when we've been playing for some time- I actually never knew Treemen became 'uprooted' when knocked over, never really move them so just never noticed, cheers. Glad to get the Wardancers in, get ready for some insane, dancy, Wood Elf tomfoolery!
I did the 9 lino 2 dancer build in my tabletop league, worked just fine and I built up some star linos nice and quickly without the catcher hogging early spp. In the ladder though, probably catcher...
If the opponent does not have claw, the Tree could stay in the fight when playing the dakka. Av11+ will do. And you eather persuade the opponent to fight the tree with part of his team ore you get a saver place to run to. It's a nice distraction.
Willow Rosebark is undervalued. 150k for a ST4 AC9 Thickskull with Dauntless and Her Super-Dauntless ability. Not great vs Dwarfs for example; but facing Ogres (as in the team), a pair of Halfling Trees, or Snotling Trolls she is well worth the $$ and with any luck will impact the game longer/more than a single-shot fireball at the exact same cost.
Hey Andy great review, noticed you didn't talk about Eldril Sidewinder in detail in this review (briefly said you would get him but not why). But i also have a question, would you still use the 3-4-4 or 3-5-3 formations if you didn't have the tree? when your catcher is more likely to be hit after the line of scrimmage falls at low tv?
I like the idea of more players goin for three or four 90k 2str 7-8ma catchers, if my computer lags less than the deck after I get em painted, great work, lol.
Thanks for the nice video. Some Ideas about the Tree: After Guard and Grab I would not waste anny more value an him. He is too slow for the woodelf game. Maybe take MV+ later if possible and skip all other stats for picking Block.
Can you tell me why i cannot buy a treeman? He doesn't even show up as an option, just four Basic guys. And there is no wardancer🤔 just fot the game from ps plus
Dodging through tackle zones with anything that isn't damaged on a wood elf team is the same stat line regardless of the player you are using, but the skaven are only dodging through lines effectively with gutters. It's a small detail, but on those rare occasions you need to dodge through tackle zones, you would rather be doing it on 3's or 4's instead of 4's or 5's.
Wrestle isn't terrible on a tree man either. If you get rooted, you can use it to down yourself and unroot. Same with pile driver, but that requires grab as well.
Instead of a jump up on a tree isn't it better to get +MA ? You don't roll for a stand up anymore AND get 3 MA. In formats like ladder where you can afford to spend some time farming spp I think 3 MA treeman is a must. Great guide overall, thank you Andy! [T]/
because wrestle creates space on the pitch when both players go down - but wood elves have the speed to get back up and "do stuff", most other players, much less so.
BB2 is more complete due to access to all teams and having all the skills work as intended, but BB3 is receiving constant updates to broken mechanics and also adopts the newer ruleset from the tabletop game. So if you want to use the game to practice for tabletop experience, then it's BB3. If you want to play a more complete game and don't currently care much for the tabletop gaming side of Blood Bowl, then go BB2.
Very excited for Wood Elves! Great Guide Andy!

@@AndyDavoBloodBowl don't tease me!
interesting seeing setups, always struggled on deciding on a good offensive lineout.

GREAT STUFF ANDY!

Very excited for a 20 game run of wood elves.
new tier list with the added teams could be interesting :')
its on my to do list.
The advantage of the +1 to pass roll skills is that they cancel neg modifiers that would other wise increase the chance of a wildly inaccurate.
Good guide as usual, only issue is plus passing on the thrower, plus passing is quite rare sadly so accurate is probably the more common option.

Great message Bb Nut 😂

Really surprised you didn't say the War Dancer is Fhokn amazing

You sure you are looking at the team recruitment page? - not inside the game
Great video!
What do you think about this roster please?
2 wardancers
1 thrower
2 catchers
6 lineman
1rr
Thanks〜
Welfs can do cool things, but skaven can do it all a little better. good guide mon Kapitain!

on point
Damn, no vampires :(, I guess I have to settle for wardancer cheese
No mention of Defensive on Treemen?

Why wrestle over block still very new to game
because wrestle creates space on the pitch when both players go down - but wood elves have the speed to get back up and "do stuff", most other players, much less so.
I have a question, does bb3 run better than bb2? Its crucial to me :D
No. It doesn't.
BB2 is more complete due to access to all teams and having all the skills work as intended, but BB3 is receiving constant updates to broken mechanics and also adopts the newer ruleset from the tabletop game. Why would I listen to an Elf guide from a bash coach? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
