That shirt though!! 🤣 😂 Thanks for this... I'm very guilty of focusing almost completely on the race itself. So when I eat like crap, skip yoga or strength day, or miss a key run, I tell myself it's no big deal, the race is weeks/ months away... the cumulative effect is HUGE. I've got less than a month to my first trail marathon, a distance I skipped on my way to 50k. I'm determined to do well... though not nearly as well as you, who are "just" an elite runner. 😆 Loved the graphics, you can really rock a sports bra!!

The most valuable video I ve ever seen in regards to become a better runner and a better general athlete. Focus on training and the results will always play out well. Don't always expect to PR every race, trust in the process and focus long term and consistency

Ryan Hall says that cutting caffeine a week or 2 before had zero impact on his race performance. The point is to not change anything in a race you haven't practiced in training. For me, just a thicker sock on race day (than I was used to in training) gave me blisters in my A race which was a marathon and I lost a lot of time because of that. Every detail counts!

Hi Vlad, Do you recommend continuing with your 16 min workout on the taper week ?

I just ran my marathon yesterday and used his ankle/knee stability, yoga and one other of his videos up until last Wednesday (per my PT and coach's advice). I just didn't use weights for anything he suggested you *could* add weights to. Lots of balance and mobility. Good luck! 🤞

Personally I would only do the easy workouts - like balance and stability ones and for the last 3 days before the race give the strength work a break - good luck in the race!

Hey Vlad, Great vid again! How long did it take you to be able to run every day injury free. I am about 1 year into taking running and at about 50km a week I normally get injured. Also with the 4 strength sessions would you recommend they each be one of your 20 min strength sessions? could you also do a strength session every day? Also I was wondering whether you do personalised training plans and how much do they cost? Cheers Mate!

hey! I’m not vlad but I’ve dealt with many injuries + a lot of injuries can be avoided by warming up properly, allowing your body to recover fully (from both running and any other physical activity), and working on your bodies imbalances. for example if you’re getting back injuries you probably have a weak core, if you have shin splints you need to stretch and roll out your calves more. a lot of joint injuries in my experience come from muscular imbalances and muscular tightness which causes strain on the joints. I’d also recommend doing yoga or Pilates/ stability training.
