Thank you for this awesome review I am truly humbled by your comments & your statement.😌 To also answer both of your questions in your review, yes everything is painted by hand, and I can absolutely do a clear blue version of this character with the eyes 😉 👍
I recall having the same recollection as a kid. Took until finding the DVD to truly correct my memory, as well lol That movie on VHS felt non-existent.
I've seen this dude's Etsy page and his work is phenomenal. Those mini candy figures you mentioned from Bandai are part of the Godzilla Kingdom set released as part of the Godzilla 2000: Millennium release. I have those minis. I believe Millennian came with Orga and Giant Millennian UFO is packaged with one of two Godzilla 1999 figures. I have them and they were tedious to find years ago but it helps to find small figures like that in bulk. But I will say that since 2014, Gashapon and mini figures aren't fun to buy anymore. I remember when prices made sense. Back to this Etsy guy, he is great. Buy all his stuff! May he one day have the courage to make Giant Lizard from King Kong VS Godzilla, sure we have the CAST ones but c'mon where's a 6" one when ya need it?!
Dudes a real savior for fans of the less represented monsters! I wish him nothing but success as he continues on! - Glad I have a name to the series they were part of! I never in my days ever came across them, figured I either overlooked something or someone other than Bandai made them. Now I can begin the search… which, like you said, really ain’t all that fun. Gacha these days be sporting some obscene prices. Some I can’t even co-sign on it even being worth it in the long run. Shame. I remember when buying Gacha was an easy business lol
Orga evolution be like: 🛸 🪼 🦍 I been feelin very nostalgic for Godzilla 2000 lately and I don't know why. Seems like Toho knew exactly what they were doing then by releasing a 1 night showing of the movie on Godzilla day. I won't be able to go to the theaters by then but I do at least plan on watching my blu ray copy with my brother around the same time. We're going to love watching it again!
First he ship. Then he squish. Then he ripple, dipple, try to nibble. What a guy. Always will hold a special place for Godzilla 2000. First Japanese Godzilla film in theaters. First time audibly going “what the fuck” as a small child. It was a time to be alive! Shame I can’t catch it in theaters either. Anything to hear KATAGGIIIRRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii in a theater again lol
IF the Millennian is based of the Independance Day aliens, that would mean Toho was referencing Roland Emmerich's work again! Both ID and Goji98 were deirected by Roland Emmerich, and if Orga is a walking feference to Godzilla 1998, then I deffinently wouldn't be surprised if the Millennium form was a reference to Independance Day. Good catch (if true) Rob!
If true, It only backs up the claims that Toho was extra hurt, burned, and in need of a polite jab back at Emmerich. Which I really can't blame them for... sure they approved it from the start, but.. yowza. Even if it comes out as not true at all and just a fun coincidence... X TO DOUBT. IT'S TOO CLOSE.
Not to mention Xplus made a open mouth nom nom Defo Orga! Also Ymsf made a stunningly awesome Open mouth Orga vinyl!!! I was the first person to get one of the Orga UFOs from cloaking. And my goodness its so smooth and satisfying to hold! So accurate too! I will be looking into gwtting a beam and the UFO alien aswell!
To me. The Millennian is more like the tripod aliens from War of The Worlds from Steven Spielberg. But I can see the harvest alien resemblance. Wondered if Steven sees this Godzilla film and used similar design for his aliens?
@ShinRobjira He might be. Take an example of another film he did, Ready Player One. He seemed to be familiar with the original Mecha-Godzilla and he somehow ask the designer or gave him the idea to feature finger missiles!!! To me hints he may have been a fan. On a different note...I wish Hollywood have hired Steven Spielberg to be the director of Godzilla. I feel he has great potentials to direct this film and as well put up some great Sci-fi action monster film.
Just went on the app after the video, and I have found UFO, which looks absolutely amazing, I think I’m gonna order one myself tomorrow, but I have one quick question, is this blast effect particle come with the UFO once ordered? Or is the effect just on it’s own?

I always loved the brief appearance of the Millennian as a kid.
Same, it was always a scene i looked forward to!
Hopefully, in due time, there will be more to look forward to!
When I was a kid, I thought the UFO grew out legs. I thought the head of the millennium was just the ufo. I was way off when I got the film on DVD

well there is kind of a physical prop of the millennium alien, but it's just a cardboard standee for the filming and lighting
I recognized the Dracula Flow references immediately 😂
Blessed be. Culture.
We pushing the camel through the eye of a needle, on Jordanian shit!
silly little Millennian
He do be a goofy lil dude!

they could sanded the prints lines :( , the sculpts and paints are amazing
Millennian bears a strong resemblance to the Harvesters and Tripodisians from War of the Worlds 2005.
Millennian sent the orders as he was stealing info in the UFO ship.
what a little stinker.

Every person in the world should be surprised by the size of Giant UFO. It’s GIANT after all.

Glad i could sway ya over to the guy's market! He's deserving of the work and mooolaaahh.

Man I completely forgot about them… very, eerily similar they are. Who knows? Maybe Spielberg has been a Godzilla fan all this time!
