Congratulations Gage! Love that you Included him in your videos and mostly that you go and support him at his games! This is exactly how Life in America is supposed to be! Love you guys even more!
One of my ancestors worked on the design of the combine. It always gives me a certain sense of pride knowing that my family helped to create such a useful machine.
I bet Gages buddies are jealous he not only has 2 of the coolest bosses but also has a beautiful boss who has such beautiful eyes... Keep up the good work with the videos.
Hi Laura. Thanks for sharing your content. My grandparents were farmers in Kansas, and I remember spending summers with them working the fields, starting very early in the mornings. Farming is hard work, and I think your videos are inspirational. Keep 'em coming.
Hey Laura love the channel it's my fix for watching tractors and machines. I've been watching almost since you started and this is my first comment to you just wanted to say thank you and Grant for farming and showing us the life of a farmer
Nice video of the soy harvest. Getting the harvester to do it's processing just right is really tricky and still get it done in time. Miss Pepper feeding her brood of cute kittens. Good mousers all of them and will protect Laura from the mouse.
Always enjoy that feeling of accomplishment when you finish the beans so that you can totally focus on corn. Once you get into corn it's fast and furious keeping up and staying ahead of the combine. Keep up the good work and stay safe.
I think your combine is way more intense with all you have to keep track of. I've driven big mining trucks at iron ore mines in Minnesota. Pretty much just a pickup truck the size of a two story house.
I totally get your sentiment about being "one with the machine" I used to fly helicopters and learning how felt really challenging at first. But there came a point where I had enough experience that I started feeling as if it was an extension of my body. Very cool to hear that you feel that way about operating a combine. Thanks for all the great videos and insights into farming life!
Laura Farms is definitely my most enjoyed channel to watch on US crop farming! Laura's smile is just gorgeous and as wide as Nebraska! I've learnt so much from you about driving and operating JD tractors and harvesters. I even bought a JD tractor 20 years ago with a trailer water sprayer trailer for my kids to ride on when they were very little, lol! It survived through 2 families and 9 kids! Grant and Laura have learned so much from their parents and grandparents so far in their young lives so far. I adore you happiness and enthusiasm Laura! - You are a one very delightful and blessed farmer and woman! Greeting and blessings from New Zealand, David. ❤💚💛❤
You summed up your combine driving perfectly. Your head is on a swivel watching ahead to the sides, downward, backwards, listening all the time for strange noises, plus watching all your computer readouts etc. Sure are a huge improvements over the combines of the 60's with computerization and all other info gathering devices. CONGRATS on winding up the bean harvest on the Full Harvest Moon. Now to get ready for the corn harvest.
Gotta love super small town football. I was a small town football hero many years ago and there's nothing like it for a young man. You hear so many comments on how great your content is but it really is true. Thanks for letting us tag along! I like the planting and harvest but I love the "other" jobs that are required to be a farmer most of all. Learning new skills all the time is so interesting.
Laura, you aren't wrong, operating a large mining truck is a trip, as a former heavy equipment mechanic, I got to operate a lot of different size of machines, the largest was a793 mining truck.
Laura, how satisfying is that, finished harvesting one crop and ready for the corn. I have a good feeling that your corn crop will be a good one. You did say in your last video to ask questions. Could you do with more of your own fields to farm for you two? Love from Mike. ❤
Hope you reach 500K subscribers. Really enjoying the dailies. September 29th was the harvest moon perfect time to end the Soybean Harvest. Following from Australia.
I have no doubt that Gage, you and Grant will have a lifelong friendship. Hard to find a young man with his work ethic these days. Tell his parents “Great Job”!
Great job on the beans! Must be a relief to be done with those. Too bad the yields weren't what you two were hoping for. That's farming. Loved to see some 8-man ball. Brings back fond memories of long, long ago. Happy harvesting!
Love the videos I'm in ranch country. Good to see something different. PS I live in the southern black hills. Plus thanks for keeping it real and classy. Really nice to see true people. Keep on being you all.
Thanks for another great video Laura and Grant. It was interesting. Congratulations on finishing your soybeans for year 2023!!!!!! Your soybean harvest went by fast it seems. Good job everyone. Now on to corn harvest. Thanks for showing us the football game with Gage in it. Glad they won. Thanks for everything. The Iowa Farm Boy.
Driving a combine is like flying a plane. Knowing how to operate the machine and knowing what to do is necessary. Actually the primary purpose of the human in the cab is in case of emergencies and failures. That's when your knowledge and and actions plays the most important part of the operation. Great Job. Have a great Corn Harvest!!!
I'm a retired machinist. I really appreciate how you respect Gage and the patient way you are with him Laura. Yur trade is a learner. You don't give up on Gage - smart folks taught you that. Takes a while! Gage must want it. :) Yur eyes are the windows to who you are. To the soul... Yur special. And, in a loving way may I say " Rubba Head" Smartest - best ever.
Long hard day for me today, so it was nice to see your face, put a smile on mine. You are such a positive, uplifting person to watch AND I always learn something about farming. Makes me appreciate farmers more when I go to the grocery store. And go Gage.
I'm already exhausted and ready for bed just listening to your explanation of all the stuff your doing while running the combine, your a busy little thing! Going to take a nap now I have %00 miles to drive tonight and you already worn me out lol Have a Great Day, looking forward to corn harvest!
There is so so much to do and look at while in that high tech combine Laura. You are the best of the best! Keep up the good work! Glad you guys could make it to see Gage play. I know it made him happy! Ft. Wayne, IN.
Love your videos, it's really interesting for me to watch your farming operations. When I started watching your channel a couple weeks ago you were at 472k subscribers and now it's at 476k, growing fast.
You do a nice job showing the steps of operating the cart and the combine, so the non farmers get an idea of how to run them. I think we all agree, beans suck, corn is fun.
Dew. Judges 6:36-39 came to mind. Proof of God. Wow! Harvest. Means, "blah, winter." Hope to see you two snowboarding. What were those dirt moguls Grant was making for? Hmmm. SNOW!!!!
Fun to see your videos watching from Sweden and iam not a farmer work at a hospital in town of Gävle I se that the hospital works and have equipment from pens to operation tools
Looks like Giltner plays 8-man football. Love the downsized game in Plains and Western states! Downsized players, too. I was a 5'9, 135 lb senior defensive back just 46 years ago.
In Northwest Missouri we have several 8Man football teams. My two sons make up both ends of the spectrum for our team, Sophomore at 5'0 95lb, and then Junior at 6'2 180. Glad they have the opportunity to play a great sport like football in our small town.
Good morning Sunshine. You look lovely as usual with those beautiful eyes and great smile. It has been great riding along and learning as you've shared the activity of the soy bean harvest with us. I hope the harvest yield meets your goals. I look forward to the start of the corn harvesting. Have a good day and be safe. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Great video of finishing up with the soybean harvest! Awesome to see you heading up the operation in the combine! So many of us admire what you do and who you are being a farmer. You and Grant make a great couple and team bcuz as everyone knows there's no I in team! Thanks again Laura for sharing your videos with us along with your PRICELESS time and effort! Cheers from Laurel, Delaware USA.
You were talking about how bad it is when a storm has laid the corn down flat. I have a suggestion but it may be cost prohibitive. If you could get your crop sprayer friend to spray liquid viagra on the corn blown down, within two days it will be standing up tall and straight! LOL Roll On Floor...I know, bad joke...my wife of 48 years (God rest her soul) always said that I have a warped sense of humor but I do enjoy a good laugh! At 82 years old I like humor and enjoy your videos very much. Keep them coming!
The soybeans are almost over, it was incredible, I really enjoyed following this harvest season, what a beautiful night, look at the really beautiful moon
I can't wait for corn harvest. I grew up in a large family where everyone was involved in farming one way or another. After high school I followed my own path, went back to school and became a nurse. I don't regret it, but watching you, Grant, and other farming families on RUclips makes me wish I could go back and live some of those early years over again. ❤️🚜🇺🇸🤍🚜🇺🇸💙🚜🇺🇸
Way to go Gauge, you do a great job at football, as well as on the farm, helping Gran and Laura. I know they really appreciate you helping!

My whole family is from Iowa and following you guys is nostalgic for me 🙂
A good summary of operating the combine. Thanks.
Hey Laura love the channel it's my fix for watching tractors and machines. I've been watching almost since you started and this is my first comment to you just wanted to say thank you and Grant for farming and showing us the life of a farmer
I so appreciate how you explain things and your utter joy in farming. Thanks Laura, love your channel.
Congrats on completing the soya bean harvest. I can’t wait for the start of the corn harvest!
The memories that brings back playing 6 man football for Trent, Texas. I also helped out local farmers on my time off was awesome time.
Nice video of the soy harvest. Getting the harvester to do it's processing just right is really tricky and still get it done in time. Miss Pepper feeding her brood of cute kittens. Good mousers all of them and will protect Laura from the mouse.

Indiana corn is not quite ready for harvest. I am told. I was there over the weekend and it still has some green on the stalks.
WoW!! Who knew that you have to pay attention while driving a combine.
Boy did this one bring back great memories. Raised on a farm and I played football. Born in NE but raised in Ohio. Thanks...
