Bailey is perfectly content and secure. If he didn’t like the other two he’d get up and leave. He’s a well-trained retriever, the best kind of dog. I bet you never hear him growl.

@@1scrapper15 - You don't have to train a Golden to act like this. It's their standard way of dealing with little critters. Just lie still and look away so no one gets scared and no one gets hurt.
it was a bad idea for him to get pets because it is going to clam him down, and I won't get to see him act crazy and do stuff others dog don't do anymore which made him popular in the first place
Bailey is really something!He is a very jealous and posesive dog (in the video when he meets the kitten),I never saw a dog to act like that(going all over his ..dad, ignoring the newcomer, wanting all the attention and really making a whole scene of jealousy and posesion...like "I was the first here, I don't share your attention with anyone else".

I just Love all the Eyebrow movement. Our 14 year old Golden Retriever Phantom used to do the same thing. Golden Retrievers are beautiful dogs. Miss my boy so much.

Bailey is such a sweet and gentle dog he just lays there and watches them play. As for the youngsters its play time every day, if Bailey didn't want to be there he would leave. This is how our animals grew up the younger ones would play and the older ones would just lay back and watch and take a nap. If they didn't want to be bothered they would get up and leave. 🤔🐈💞🐕💞🐾🐕😉
That's exactly what he's doing. Goldens have a habit of "looking harmless" around small animals, and Bailey's had enough practice now to be getting really good at it. I swear Golden Retrievers have more empathy than most people.
