GOD- I actually lost it the second Leos started crying.. but it was uncontrollable when Tsukasa began too. I think because Tsukasa represents a larger part of 'fuck the system, BANs is proud we create this content freely for other peoples enjoyment'.. that the fact he was balling at something HE ORIGINATED HIMSELF, he started this legacy if I'm not mistaken with Yuika - I was too far gone emotionally.. Also the fact this was one big final hurrah for MYY, who was understandably alot of peoples man of the match, as he really went to the very end and got them to the finals - No matter where he is now, no matter what he's doing, in terms of Nijisanji, his final act was truly assuring every branch was together and having fun, one last time! I've watched Koshien since 2020, but this one will remain the most memorable - from the drafting to the games.. Part of it being because it was easily more accessible with translations, but also because Nijisanji has grown MASSIVELY, and the diversity of it all makes my heart melt with happiness - ggwp, till next year!
It was really a project that went from a simple challenge between Tsukasa san and Shishi to such a big event... I rmb seeing 300k+ ppl tuning in to the finals and I was quite shocked The fact that the Kuzuha made Mayu san the ace pitcher of Shinsoku High and let him pitched as much as he could... it was really 🥲 to watch. I was also happy to hear that Mayu san shared FA with Hoshikawa on their battery!!! Yes, I'm looking forward to next summer already! With more international livers involved, I can't wait to see how things will unfold next year! And a selfish wish of mine is to hope that Leos gets his revenge next year ^^
@@yeejyaaaa If that wish is selfish, then we can be selfish together - I think it would be incredible to give him as many tries as it takes! I think that's the joys of Koshien - it all starts as RNG, then its partially RNG - but the sheer amount of work and pride that goes into rightfully creating and representing the ENTIRE nijisanji roster is a massive responsibility you'd want to get to do right - so I really hope he gets his redo!! But for real, thank you for the translation too, this was incredible to be able to understand word to word - since admittedly the crying japanese was a LITTLE hard to understand for a beginner like me LMAO tysm
This year’s koshien was truly memorable. It was the final scene for mayuyu and niji is gaining more attention from overseas. Everyone would be really moved on how much effort the livers put in making this event really fun. I’m glad to be able to witness such event and fell down in the rabbit hole called nijisanji.
Lize being my oshi I was extremely emotional and happy for her championship this year and her closing remarks coming full circle from NijiKo 2020. This year though I loved following everyone and their own storylines that I would've been satisfied with any outcome, very proud of each coach and very thankful once again to Tenkai & Maimoto for putting on a phenomenal show as always
