Finally a review showing that the old version is hyped up and actually you can, if you try, obtain pretty similar results with both.
This is sick! They are a lot closer than I thought.
Big box, but the deficit from the small box is nothing an EQ couldn’t fix.
TBH it’s hard to judge overall unless it’s a consistent loop playing into both. Not saying your touch is inconsistent by any means, but both of those units are pretty touchy on tracking, so it’s hard to tell exactly which wins in regards to tracking. Sound-wise, big box is slightly more preferable, but the footprint and power requirements outweigh that preference for me. Maybe big box for studio…
Love the bit of more low end on the big box. But also don't love the 24v and spotty EHX quality....
Heyyy! Finally us bass players get some love! Both the pedals sounds the same to me though, can’t notice much of a difference.
Small Box + DoD MeatBox would be my weapons of choice
The big box is just too consistent and loses low end punch. Small box gives you that real mid range meat but works well with the subharmonics.

Nice. Sounds the same to me. I have the big one and what sucks about it is that it doesn't have a light to show you when its on or off. Power light is always turned on as you can see in this video. That sucks for playing live.

It’s cheaper to buy the pedals than the helix. The tone hammer is only 250$ on Amazon.

Big box had more personality and a different texture/growl to it that i really enjoyed. Same difference I feel when I compare Kemper profiles to the real thing: it's pretty close, but the real thing has that PERSONALITY to it that is hard to reproduce...

Big box sounded better to me. And I would buy a Kemper profile of this chain in a heartbeat
What is the voltage and Ma your using for the big box power supply? I just got one but has no manual and don’t wanna blow out my unit lol

Request Boss gt1 patches. All I find in Yt are brazilian patches and they have complicated payment methods

the big box just looks cooler and has the grit of an old pedal give the small one a few decades and they finna sound the same
