Hello Lachie, I've been watching your videos since I started and they've helped me get better. I'm currently driving the Strike V2 on the lake and I'm very happy with the low end. I also bought the v3 but couldn't handle the low end at all and sold it again. When I was on the foil with the v3, I really liked it. especially the low drag and the speed. Now I'm thinking about whether I should buy the origin or the strike v4. you hear that the v4 is supposed to be easier to pump than the v3? I started last summer and am currently doing jibing, changing feet and working on tacks. Greetings from good old Germany
@@kit3cut love to hear it! The v4 is half way between the v2 and v3 in terms of low end but keeps all the high end performance of the v3. A bit less of a compromise in low end to maintain a lot more performance. I really like the origin for general fun free riding and anything with some big chop or waves. It also has the intuitive pumping of the first and second strike. In saying that, if I had to choose only one I would go with the strike as it is unmatched in upwind performance and I’m happy to take a small hit in low end for the extra speed.
