Shunsui's Bankai acts like a Traditional Japanese Theater Play. His Shikai is Children's Games so his Bankai matures as an adult entertainment. His Bankai tells the story of two lovers who share their injuries and eventually one of them are inflicted with a incurable disease, so they both jump into the rising waters until the thread of guilt and remorse claims then. It's pretty confusing, and I'm not sure if this is completely right. But hope this helped sum it up a bit. Also to add on, It is implied that his Bankai has multiple of these plays. His Shikai has several Children's Games to pick, so it makes sense for his Bankai to have the same. As well as Shunsui saying he uses his Bankai "once in a while."
Kubo once confirmed that Shunsui's bankai can have as many acts as he wants depending on the story he tells, in short it all depends on the story that Shunsui himself creates, but the story must make some sense.
@@DMO_REACTS However, there is a small problem with Shunsui's Bankai, which is the same as Shinji's Bankai: it affects EVERYONE within range, meaning everyone will have to participate, whether they are friends or enemies.
The woman isn't his assistant, it is his zanpaktou spirit. The bankai is a series of Japanese style theater acts, it's massive area of effect type bankai, so he couldn't use it until now because it effects his allies as well if they're too close Act 1: Shunsui and his opponent share any damage dealt to each other, but they cannot die to those wounds Act 2: If one regrets harming the other in the previous act the will contract a deadly illness Act 3: They're both thrown in a bottomless sea until someone's spiritual pressure runs out Act 4: Shunsui uses spiritual pressure to decapitate the now weakened opponent
Shinsui bankai is guaranteed to kill you can survive if you are immortal and he can target multiple people both enemy and Ally if they get caught in it

so him and Shinji have a similar bankai except Shinsui's is deadlier in a sense because when you've entered the game, you can't escape
@@DMO_REACTS Yes. they're similar in the fact they're both an area of effect bankai, however Shunsui's bankai is much stronger

it make so much more sense now
@DMO_REACTS his bankai is complicated like his shikai that why it's broken and unique from others
Not sure u got so much info wrong in this episode 😂
@@claws019 bro I was confused the whole time 😭 but it was a great episode
Mayuri is definitely no joke. He is definitely one of the top tier captains that's why all the other ones were like he'll be fine.
