This is the most common antipersonnel mine ever manufactured. It has been used since 1950. They are everywhere a war happens. Tens of millions had been produced.

One of the ones I bought has an intact striker mechanism. Lead strip is intact and pin has never been pulled.

I'll have to go review your content on how to place such historic artifacts in clusters within a field. And, how to mark that on historical documents for future generations to un-reenact history.

Haven't we seen this kind of mine deployed in Ukraine, last year in June, when the Ukranian forces tried to unload a Bradley IFV in a minefield? I think I recognize the flat, round pressure plate and the rubber cover but there are so many variants and models I can't really tell for sure. Thank you for sharing this content

I remember that one. Those were mostly PMN-2s. If I remember correctly.

@@SecurityGuy42 By magnifying the image as best as i can i can barely see the star shaped pressure plate of a PMN-2. You are of course correct sir. The black dirt on it made me think i was looking at a rubber pressure plate instead. Mine could really be a dangerous mistake i guess. What a scary job...
