Just taking guesses but it could be either: fuel filter, catalytic converter, vtec not engaging (if you have vtec), etc. i would start with a fuel system flush though. Hope u get it working!
The K20 (grey) is faster both acceleration and topspeed. But he had stretch tyres which made the car twitchy and unstable at higher speeds, so he didnt floor the throttle. The B18c6 in the blue was pretty much a stock engine swap at the time :)

If you want all motor, and got some extra cash to spare...go for K. Much better for all motor setups. Tho its pretty easy to get 200whp out of the B18C5, but much more than that and it will be expensive. But... B-series for boost! :)
kiara buss Probably weight difference and/or different gearbox ratios. Put a K20A in a Civic EG and compare it to another EG with JDM B18c. K20 will win (stock engines). Im just saying its easier to get more hp out of the K-series with fewer mods. 250hp+ with good matching cams and intake. Not as easy with B-series...

+NoOneImportant556 Final drive is 4.4 from a RSX wich i use for my supercharger setup that's why is sounds sloowwwww. I ran a JDM gearbox with 4.7 and diffrent 4 - 6 gears before with N/A much more revy and a lot quicker.

K series, you'll spend more for the swap but you'll make more power easier especially na. My k20 made 231 on 91 stock block with good bolt ons.

Redline is 9k v/min. Made 250 hp with Apexi WS2 exhuast. With 3" exhaust about 10 hp more. I sold the car last year. Sometimes i miss tha car...
