Sonya McKelvey unfortunately buttercream cakes just aren't my strong point. I've done a few on my channel but they are more on the simple side. I'm working on trying to improve so I can include more in the future, but I think my channel will always be more fondant based. The icing artist does a lot of buttercream cakes and she is great, so if you haven't checked her out already then you definitely should:)
Great job! This is WAY harder than it looks. Getting fondant not to tear on this cake is a miracle.

Just found this video and going to try this myself. What quantities of buttercream and fondant did you use to cover the cake?
I wonder if this would work just pouring grey colored white chocolate over the cake. Plus, it tastes better than fondant.
