Also Tom, the Bears have been running the ball since week 1 lol. Swift and the blocking were just ass. And most of Swifts yards from yesterday came on two plays... A 30+ yard rush TD, and a 30+ yard reception. Other than that, he was still only averaging about 3 yards a run if you take those plays away. What REALLY helped was using Roschon on the short yard situations because he's the type of RB you can send up the middle and get 4-5 yards easily. So it's not like the Bears gameplan was different, it was that it actually worked for the first time this entire season lol.
I agree with this. My only observation that slightly differs is it seemed Chicago seemed more comfortable utilizing Roschon, and he was able to make crucial plays. Of course, Swift was effective for the first time this season as well. I do believe that was partly due to Roschon getting his hands on the ball a little bit more.

It's nice that my Bears finally have a great defense again. I know they got better in the 2nd half of last season, but before that it was brutal... A whole season's worth of games giving up 31 PPG, as well as giving up at least 25 points in every game during that 14 game losing streak, an NFL record and historically bad NFL defense, let alone Bears defense. And Dallas played the team that smashed “the best team in football” so these games are way closer than ur making it. -Packers sucked, but they’re prolly still good, we know. @@TheSnakeYouCanTrust I keep reading Packers fans saying stuff like "If we wouldn't had missed those field goals". Yes, if the Packers had made those field goals and went into the half down 28-13, the Vikings would have played a bit differently in the second half. When a team goes up 28-0, you start to play differently for multiple reasons. You want to avoid injuries and just maintain a lead. Another reason is coaches don't want to put anything on tape if they don't need to.
What IF! What IF! Miami turns into a run team with deep bombs to their #1 and #2 once the 2 high safeties are pulled up and Miami puts another 70 up by Running the ball instead of perma air raid, with their new running back up QB from the practice squad from the Ravens?
40:19 I think I can decipher their comment and show how it’s wrong. I think what they’re trying to say is no great player that’s a multiple time champion has won their first ring after their first five years in the league. And if that’s the case, Drew Brees and Andy Reid would be the exception to that. Drew Brees won his first ring what like 8-9 years into his career and Reed has been in the league for multiple decades before winning his first
No, they were saying HC/QB combo. Reid got his first with Mahomes in his 3rd year. I don't know how long Drew Brees and Sean Payton were together before their SB win.
I believe it is the quarterback and the coach as a single unit over 5 years. If the combination of a quarterback and a coach hasn't produced a ring in 5 years, then they never will. You need to swap one of them out and give it another 5 years.
@@dobe46 Like the other guy was saying, the HC and QB unit. So the five year timer started when Mahomes and Reid got together. Irregardless of how long Reid was in the league. Stafford and Sean McVay got their first together in their first year together. Not their first year's in the NFL.
Whoever reviewed and upheld that "interception" needs to be fired. Any drunk person in a bar could see that he did not control that ball while he was out of bounds. Unacceptable. Still hot about that.
@tdaddy6505 It isn't even close. If I could send a picture in the comments it would be the still shot of his knees out of bounds and the ball floating in the air. You're either lying or delusional if you think that was caught.
Was ruled an interception on the field and I guess whatever the review guys in New York saw wasn’t clear and convincing enough to overturn it. I dunno man. Guess even the replay guys can make a bad call every once in a while.
I feel like people see the Ravens, Bills, and Vikings vs Texans and realize they stopped playing tough after being ahead so much. Then Tom acts like the Packers had a chance to win, and everybody forgets you take your foot off the gas when ahead by four scores. The packers didn’t have a chance. If you have to rely on an onside kick, you didn’t have a chance.
@@maggiethechattyhound9580 Exactly, we need to keep our foot on the gas and finish the game hard! SF we could have blown it wide open, Darnold threw a interception in the Red Zone and Jones Fumbled on the goal line. That was at least 10 more points ( I think we score a TD if Jones doesn’t fumble) it could have been 30-7. However we withstood the comebacks and the Vikings are 4-0 and number 1 in the Power Rankings!
Strouds are going to get obliterated when we play the Bills next week after struggling to barely beat the Jags. And this is coming from a Strouds fan. Our best hope is that the Ravens broke something last night cause sometimes big losses like that can generate a string of them.
Tom should NEVER HAVE TO DO A SKOLKAST AGAIN! I think it tainted his man cave! And the Scriptwriter was definitely on something to have written the scripts in the games this week!!
Love plays terrible under pressure. Not the pressure from hero ball scenarios. But the pressure from expectations to do well. He seems to only throw well and not make mistakes when the odds are against him and they are expected to lose because they are so far behind or facing an opponent better than GB.
Enough with the excuses Tom. “Let’s see how it goes next match up when we’re healthy out there “ blah blah blah. Vikings were without Ivan pace who had over 100 tackles last year for the Vikings and of course they were without all pro TJ hockenson. Ggs to the pack but it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to know the Vikings took their foot off the cheese throats and had bad calls by the refs. That was not an INT by McKinney. That spot the refs gave the Vikings on that 4and1 was bs. Both would’ve led to points. The point is when it was 22-28 the Vikings went down the field and scored an easy field goal to go up by two scores. Just like they did against the 49ers when in that game , it was a yard away from Being up 27-7. The Vikings are just better.
I definitely think they are but they also benefited from the fact that Jordan love was coming back from injury and had not his best first half. The fact it was 28 to 0 at one point, and you guys lost by two points, should be more worrying than encouraging, but every Vikings fan is pounding their chest so, that’s why the fall is always so fun to watch. Average Vikings fan doesn’t have transparency of what they actually saw in front of them. 😅
@@dobe46 Muffed punt into an INT atthe goaline that shouldn't of stood. Huge point swing that normally wouldn't happen. Is what it is. Not much to worry about tbh
@@dobe46 you could say the same thing about Jordan love. He still could bring it all Together. But what I've seen of him in 20+ games is an overpaid less clutch version of Brett Farve. When he gets flustered guy absolutely sabotages his team.
@dobe46 that's mostly an unfair argument to make. The "what if" game. It goes both ways. Yes GB had a limited Love and Jaire was out, but the vikings were missing Hockensin and Ivan Pace. Were the packers lucky Nailor muffs that punt? Yes. But vikings are lucky GB misses 2 FGs. So we can play alternative history and what if all you want but the reality is the Vikings won.
NFL did not "help" the Chiefs by not suspending Rice. NFL does not suspend players until after the criminal trial. Come on, Guys. Stop spreading disinformation. Perna is right, though. If NFL did suspend early (which they didn't because no criminal trial yet) then Rice would not have been playing.

The Fields goals probably keep the Vikings more engaged since yall were being blown out by then so yes the fields goals probably make it to where the Vikings Defense was more aggressive and on top of things this is why you can’t say stuff like that it’s poor analysis in Grossi’s part The Vikings are a flawed team and are playing out of there minds but the packers need to figure some things out

@@maggiethechattyhound9580 I would argue the packers forcing two turnovers and the Vikings defense stopping multiple fourth down attempts from the packers is just two good teams going head to head
@@ItsTheCV I’m not saying the packers are bad, I’m saying the Vikings stopped playing tough because they were ahead by four tds.
They aren’t the dolphins vs broncos.
@@ItsTheCV it’s was 28-0 🤣🤣🤣. Don’t be a fool, coming in talking bout “they did it to theirselves or they they almost won” they SUCKED, own ur team. I can actually say Dallas was in the game the whole time, they didn’t let 28 points go un-answered, and dam sure didn’t wait till the end of the game to score a point; after the other team just got tired of dominating them. And Dallas played the team that smashed “the best team in football” so these games are way closer than ur making it.
-Packers sucked, but they’re prolly still good, we know. Dallas is basically a new team this year, with half of them going to Washington, a completely new corner room, so i don’t really know yet, but after this week it’s about to be very bad for Dallas.
The Vikings are the only complete team in the NFL 🤷♂️
Packers didn't almost mount a comeback. Vikings tried too hard to get Jones that td and packers had a garbage time td. Wasn't that close.
Packers had 2 possessions within a score?
@@dennisthechemist4413 vikings also left 3 points off the score to try and get Jones a TD. Plus the packers were gifted a INT by the officiating. It was closer than it should have been but packers never had a shot.
Also, “almost” only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.
Bad spot for the 1st down for Aaron Jones.
Im having the best week this season for pickem so far somehow im 10-4 right now 😂
If it makes you feel better I’m in Miami………….
What IF! What IF! Miami turns into a run team with deep bombs to their #1 and #2 once the 2 high safeties are pulled up and Miami puts another 70 up by Running the ball instead of perma air raid, with their new running back up QB from the practice squad from the Ravens?
I think the Bills easily have a chance to win thier next 5 games
Alright as a packers fan can the lions lose tonight please? I don't want to be th only nfc north team to lose in week 4
Seahawks do have the Lions number, but then again, the wheel cursed the Seahawks
@@youarein1ov3 But it was the LITTLE wheel. Maybe they'll TIE with the Lions. That hurts both teams and helps the Vikings. I'll take it.

@@marshalledwards3815 Andy Reid was in the league for multiple multiple years. Can’t do it. That way you can’t pick and choose.
@@marshalledwards3815 and people would call that moving the goal post
I believe it is the quarterback and the coach as a single unit over 5 years. If the combination of a quarterback and a coach hasn't produced a ring in 5 years, then they never will. You need to swap one of them out and give it another 5 years.
@@dobe46 Like the other guy was saying, the HC and QB unit. So the five year timer started when Mahomes and Reid got together. Irregardless of how long Reid was in the league. Stafford and Sean McVay got their first together in their first year together. Not their first year's in the NFL.

Was ruled an interception on the field and I guess whatever the review guys in New York saw wasn’t clear and convincing enough to overturn it. I dunno man. Guess even the replay guys can make a bad call every once in a while.
The Vikings were almost “The Vikings” almost gave the game away!

Love plays terrible under pressure. Not the pressure from hero ball scenarios. But the pressure from expectations to do well. He seems to only throw well and not make mistakes when the odds are against him and they are expected to lose because they are so far behind or facing an opponent better than GB.
He had expectations at the backend of last year
Enough with the excuses Tom. Just like they did against the 49ers when in that game , it was a yard away from

Vikes are actually good
I definitely think they are but they also benefited from the fact that Jordan love was coming back from injury and had not his best first half. 😅
