  • There are more than 20,000 Burmese people living on the south side of Indianapolis. And there several Burmese restaurants and stores along Madison Avenue.
    Here's a tour of Chin Brothers, courtesy of Mr. Than, who grew up in the Chin State of Myanmar. He moved his family to Indianapolis in the early 2000s. Him and his wife have been running this grocery store ever since.

    Very interesting. The Burmese population in Perry Township continues to grow. Perry Township Schools is 31% Asian and continuing to grow. I think the diversity in Indianapolis with the new growth from the Chin Burmese is one of the best kept secrets about the city/metro

    Love Papaya too 💚 chana dal 😋 mmmhhh all the yummy stuff...my sister also makes a tasty Indian fish paste it's kinda like a chilli pickle with anchovies

    At 7:40, brother from top to bottom it’s Thai 🇹🇭, Cambodian/Khmer 🇰🇭, Vietnamese 🇻🇳, Laotian 🇱🇦. I eat that rice brand at home. 😄 thanks for your upload.

      @@briancicioni194 this is like 5 months late 😂 but for restaurants go for Yangon restaurant or Kimu. As for groceries, they are all kind of the same.
