Another fan art series of mine is going! This is the episode 25 of Gold series. Silver returns to Team Rocket, and turns into an executive. Gold and Kris do a bit of trackback exploring johto region and Lance prepare to go to lake of rage to face the red gyarados!

Wow… the beginning was brutal! I really hope Gold will catch Raikou! Suicune for Kris and maybe Entei for Silver as part of his redemption arc.

The fact that Silver gave Kris his pokedex shows that there is some good in him and the look on her face illustrates that she believes that as well. I can't wait to see how he redeems himself.
I feel like he actually hates being in Team Rocket, but does join them anyway because he feels like it is his fate or something.

Oh my goodness! Silver is so brutal now! His Feraligatr will be a terrifying opponent for Gold! Though by giving Kris his Pokédex, I know that it's not too late for him. Nice to see Gold getting a Scizor, and that Umbreon tease was huge! Lance getting tipped off to the Rockets's plans at the Lake of Rage informs me that we're about to have a champion time! This was a great episode Pedro!
Well if level difference is a thing Feraligator won't just be able to kill any of Gold's pokemon well easily.

Uh, I'm pretty sure he killed a butterfree in front of it's trainer who so happened to be a little kid, so no if he becomes good in the end I won't even be happy about it
Silver's Feraligatr is the stuff of nightmares and I really hope Crystal gets him to come to his senses. It was good to see her and Gold getting a lot of the side quest/item stuff done and training up pokemon along the way. Hopefully Gold can get Raikou, because they will need something like it to help deal with Silver. The ending got me excited seeing Lance deciding this has gone on long enough with Team Rocket.
Things sure escalated quickly... A good way to catch our attention and raise the stakes, that's for sure! Though I hope the story won't go too far with Silver for the sake of shock value. After all, we're still supposed to want him to have a redemption arc later; and joining Team Rocket out of desperation isn't the same level of villainy as actively murdering Pokémon... It's a matter of balance. Loved the second part. I said before, but I love your way of referencing game events and integrating them to the narration. And so much foreshadowing at the end, first with Eevee and then with Peter...
In terms of how dark the series is going to get, it will be a relief after this arc to have a breather with Blackthorn City but I suspect Pedro will have some sort of trick up his sleeve before Ethan and Kris head to the Elite Four. However, we are now at the point of the darkness before the dawn. He has allowed to show how dark it's going to get to show that good will triumph and that Silver will be redeemed. It will be interesting to see what happens with the other Rocket executives following their eventual defeat.
I suspect Ethan's Eevee will evolve into Umbreon & Kris would definitely have an Espeon (my personal favorite Eeveelution) in her party.
This is a neat take, but Silver made it clear throughout the game that he hated Team Rocket and meant to wipe them out himself - he wouldn't join them.
@hanburgundy4317 If you watch the last episode, Silver felt he had no choice but to go back to Team Rocket because he was on the run from stealing Totidile and Sneasel. He may feel safe now, but we know it's gonna go downhill from there and lead to Lance confronting Silver (maybe another confrontation from Professor Oak like from an earlier episode.)
Oh dear that start...Feraligatr thirsts for blood.
A good thing about this story series is that it allows us more details, and show the inner workings of the rocket operation and how they are seen doing more damage then they did in the games.
Silver clearly is in way over his head but at this point he doesn't believe he can't belong anywhere else. Hope someone talks sense into him soon enough.
Also Gold and Kris keep doing their thing by building a strong team and capturing mons. And a sense of exploration which seems nicely divided between Silver, Gold and Kris.
Anyhow, always great to see each new addition to this series.
Silver is ruthless like rocket admin, i can hardly wait to see his redemption and a big damn kiss between him and Kris.
And the backtracking part with our main characters was really perfect, i really loved it, in particular the evolutions part and i'm pretty sure that we will have others evoltuions soon.
Awesome episode your storytelling and animations are flawless, i'm very hyped for the Lake of Rage arc.

I love the "I accept my fate" expression
I really like the little details on this one. The realistic "gator roll" from Feraligatr, going to Tohjo early for the moon stone, the hidden grove of the water trainers, the smooth evolutions as the teams get upgraded. And of course the unown message (thought it said "sus" at first lol)
I love the dark spins added to the series! Feraligatr & Silver are just scary! I can’t wait to see the epic battle between the Rockets vs Ethan & Kris. I think it’ll be even better than the Red/Blue vs Rockets battle! Also the evolutions and Lance tease at the end was perfect! Pedro you are crushing it man!!

Unown had it right! If you are watching these videos and you aren't subscribed, what are you even doing with your life?!?! The occasional dark spin added to a story is great, especially for story value. It reminds the viewers just how awful Team Rocket actually is. The video games barely make them seem evil and this does a good job of creating that antagonist persona. I also love how you have Gold battling trainers and running around like a mad man while Crystal spends her time exploring and catching Pokemon. Umbreon is also my favorite Pokemon of all time so I'm a little biased when I say "hell yea!!!"

I can't wait for the raid at Mahogany Town, seeing Lance enter with the squad of Dragonite will be fun.
I also had a hunch that Gold would get to interact with Raikou. Gold has this quick and energetic personality, quite fitting for the elusive spark puppy.
Nice use of the unown "SUB" Pedro, but alas I can only do that once. Great work man.

Another great episode! It's great to see a more complex and ambitious plan from Team Rocket. We already know that Silver will find his redemption, but I hope the same will happen to the other executives. I hope we learn more about their motivations and their lives pre-Team Rocket. Archer himself seemed like a brilliant student before meeting Giovanni. I think they too deserve something close to a happy ending like their boss had. And if Ariana could meet her family again it would be perfect :')

I was kind of expecting a minor glimpse at Giovanni in Tohjo Falls when Kris went there since in HG/SS there is that Celebi event that places him there during the radio tower raid later in the story
Damn this episode was insane. Silver and Feraligatr are ruthless now, those poor trainers, and Falnker! Though I can see he doesn’t actually want to be there, so there’s hope for him after all! Love the stuff with Gold and Kris, like the trades and even Kris going to Tohjo Falls! Nice foreshadowing there. And the Umbreon tease at the end! I was expecting Espeon tbh but this works great. Maybe as a counterpart to Red’s Espeon? 👀 great job man as always

Damn, Silver really is one of the most complex characters in pokemon huh? But everything else is just as great! The growth in pokemon and character for Gold and Kris, the exploration of previous areas, and the music! WOW the music is great for each scene! Love this series!

Sadly the gen 2 games did miss a lot of the story derails bc the rivals backround wasnt explained at all
Tbh Game Freak probably straight up lacked space to put more story (at least in the og gen2 games, not the gen4 remakes).

Oh wow, it's heartbreaking to see how low Silver has fallen. He clearly hates all of this, but he doesn't think there's anything else he can do. Poor Silver, poor Feraligatr.
It's kind of funny seeing the everything he's going through juxtaposed with Gold and Kris level grinding and hitting up minor subplots. I do love seeing their team fill out, Kris dealing with the unnown, and Gold going after Raikou. It makes me think Silver is going to get Silver to fill out the legendary beast trio.

The fact you take time to show the transition of pokemon evolving is one of my favorite parts of the series.
Pryce is the Jhoto gym leader with the most complicated story in both anime and game. And he was the one who kidnapped Silver and Green AND Trained them into pokemon trainer in manga. As the strongest gym leader of Jhoto, he conspired to capture Celebi and use her to go back time and revise the past history, to save his beloved Pokémon died in past time

Feraligatr being built up knowing that they're about to lose spectacularly makes me excited. Cause Ferry is such a beast in this. Dragonite is gonna just run through him. Can't wait!!!!! I like the Umbreon foreshadowing. I also love that you’re showing them going back on their journey and doing the side quests they couldn’t do before. Very accurate to how the game would be played.
Wasn't expecting what you did with Silver but I am here for it. I like how his Mother is slowly achieving her own goal too.

Of course every episode has been amazing so far but this one especially has me really excited. Seeing my all time favorite Pokemon Scizor added to the team, and foreshadowing Umbreon. The Lake of Rage and Radio Tower Arcs are going to be insane I can already tell. Masterful work as always!
I can relate to Silver in that you can’t always change what you were destined to be. He may not have wanted to be a Rocket executive, but people often don’t get to decide their future if that’s what society has planned out for them.

Holy cow those Feraligatr fights are dark. I know it’s basically canon anyway, but Silver gettibg Totodile makes for an easy transition for a bad guy. I appreciate the death roll Feraligatr performs similar to real life gators. Also neat that Gold gets Scizor!

This is really setting up for what is in store for the Lake of Rage through Radio Tower Takeover chapters, what I have been looking forward to since this series started. Silver is at his darkest moment. I mean, if you think Feraligator is at his worse here, it will most likely be more brutal in the following chapters to come.
I look forward to see how it plays out for Silver to renounce Team Rocket and his evil ways for good. Also, seeing Kris know that Silver still cares for her (go back to the Burnt Tower chapter if you haven't seen it) shows that she is going to have that big part in Silver's redemption arc. Thank you again Pedro.

Umbreon being foreshadowed. Thinking back, I suppose Silver giving Kris his Pokedex was his was of letting go of any bonds he made before rejoining Team Rocket.
The second part of this video was so beautiful. It reminded me of how glorious the feeling of adventure was in the Johto region. So many places to explore and so many things to do, it felt like there was a vast world out there and the journey would never end. I just can’t seem to get the same feeling from modern Pokémon games, this is what made Pokémon games such a masterpiece.

A great transitional episode as always! I will say, it is a bit painful to see Silver's Feraligatr viciously ripping pokemon to shreds (which I'm sure wast the goal, so kudos!). Really cool to see just how well the group is progressing! Can't wait to see where the series goes next.
