I have a bizarre affinity to this railway, despite living 270 miles away! These videos make me feel a lot closer and make the periods between visits a lot more tolerable, thank you!
A live web cam in the shop would be cool also it would be interesting if you at some point talked about the faces that you put on the engines for when they take on the guise of the SKR engines.
When I was on holiday I went to the talyllyn and i think it was just before dolgoch viaduct I saw what looked like sir Hayden’s water tank in some ferns rusting away, is there a story behind it?
Can you please make it inclusive and accessible by having closed captioning? (not auto captioning), unfortunately this is next to useless sadly (I'm Profoundly Deaf)
Hi Edward, We're keen to make sure everyone is included at the Talyllyn, so we're so very sorry about this - we've been wanting to get proper captioning done on the videos for a while now, but as the video production side of things is a one man team we've not had the chance to properly sit down and sort them yet - however this is not an excuse. We'll make sure from now on that every new video shall have proper closed captions, and we promise to go back and properly caption the remainder of our videos in due course. We are very sorry for this, but hopefully we can set things right.
Good to see that Alf has recieved some attention and a new coat of paint finally.
Well done !

Well, it is 1100 miles for me, so I've never been there, but it is my dream to get there, and these videos and the RCC is helping a lot.
I’m really glad to see that Alf is getting some love. He works so hard and he definitely deserves it.

Hey talyllyn railway congratulations on 5K subscribers 🙂
Well done Chris and the crew.
Great video
didn’t do too much but it was very fun to sand down 9 :).
have you decided what kind of livery that no1 Talyllyn will have when he has been repaired?
I remember their comment in one of their live streams saying that she'll return with her dark green livery. I can't wait for No.1's arrival
