I liked it much more when they did the sound effects, not the audience. I guess it's a nice gag for some those people are not very good in it, occasinally it's nice, but not all the time.
The only two logical explanation that I come up with is that the only reason they choose female because they are so bad at it the comedy and the improvisation makes it even better, and the second one is that there is no males volunteers
Did you just have the audacity to presume their gender? XD jk. But yeah, women never learned how to make awesome sounds when they were young like we did :) It can turn out sorta funny sometimes but usually it's a trainwreck that Colin and Ryan have to prevent/do damage control on.
