    2 main reasons Canada won Gold:
    1. ) Best goal song ever!🤣
    2. ) IT DID NOT GO TO A SHOOTOUT!!!

    • @ariccua6101
      @ariccua6101 7 лет назад +7

      Only disappointment was they did not use the Sabres' goal horn, which was only limited to team USA.

    • @Imtotallydiggingthis
      @Imtotallydiggingthis 7 лет назад +7

      No, the no 1 reason was enough dollars under the table to make this a 7 on 5 game, with the refs playing for Canada.

    • @gordonmacrae870
      @gordonmacrae870 7 лет назад +10

      Every interference call was super legit. Canada got one freebie beside their own net n Swedes got an uberfreebee on that pick during their shortie

    • @Imtotallydiggingthis
      @Imtotallydiggingthis 7 лет назад

      The first "interference" was a dive, and the first hooking call, Kyrou grabbed the Swede's stick and just laid down. Should have been holding the stick if anything. But that's not the big deal, it's the 5-6 or so clear cut pens that were not called on Canada that robbed Sweden of 10-ish minutes of power play. It was straight out silly, and it would have been a completely different game if the refs were not picking a side.

    • @Imtotallydiggingthis
      @Imtotallydiggingthis 7 лет назад

      So what about all the hookings, high sticks and other things that were not called on Canada? Sweden were robbed of 10+ minutes of PP. And the goal was correctly whistled down, so don't even bring that up. I'll stop with the refs when you stop bribing them.

      ★Forever on the Road of Playing★ Thanks. You guys deserved your gold medal 2 years ago in 2016 you guys had a amazing team with Laine, Aho and Kapanen you guys did amazing congrats hopefully are teams can meet in the gold medal game next year.

    • @nitaZera
      @nitaZera 6 лет назад +7

      Dale Beaver
      We sure had a great team in 2016, especially its offense was efficient and the 1st line (Puljujärvi-Aho-Laine) was incredible. I still remember that quarter-final between our teams in Helsinki, I thought I'd die at some point because there was so much action in that game.
      But I doubt that's (gold medal game between our teams) going to happen anytime soon, succeeding in u20 tournaments requires so many things to go right. And it's very ironic that now that we have more top prospects than ever before, they just cant play as a team, unlike before. Not every hockey coach in Finland is Jukka Jalonen.

    • @dalebeaver10
      @dalebeaver10 6 лет назад +3

      ★Forever on the Road of Playing★ Yay I remember the quarter-final between our teams it was really intense and a really great and close game, we new you guys had a chance in that game with the amazing players you had. We didn't have that much good players besides Strome, Barzal etc I'm pretty sure Barzal played that year I can't remember but yay you guys had a great team that year and hope one year Finland has a better team that your happy with.
      Plus the Olympics are coming up to so we'll have to stay tune for that. But it really sucks that this year there isn't going to be any NHL players playing this year. Good luck in the Olympics and next year in the WJHC.

    • @nitaZera
      @nitaZera 6 лет назад +2

      Dale Beaver
      You too, let's hope NHL players can at least take part in 2022 Olympics, but that requires getting rid of World Cup.

      Not sure what you were watching. The call for the Canadian pp that Sweden scored on was clearly a dive, moments after a blatant non-call against Canada. Same Swedish player got called for finishing a check in the third. That's about it. Again, didn't directly affect the outcome. I'm Canadian, born and raised, but I'm honest where most Canadians like to choose what they see on the ice. I'm glad Canada won, but you're wrong about the "obvious" penalties.

    Sweden out played Canada for a majority of the game. They were strong on the puck. But of course good teams find a way to win. I thought the refs did a good job and all the penalties were justified. Canada came up big when needed and won the game. Thank you Sweden for the great game, you have my respect. Cheers from Canada.

      Are you fuckkng kidding me? Canada has always been the dirtiest team by far and are allowed to with help from the refs. Obviously the swedes will lose their temper after the dives from the "toughest" nation in the hockey world. Shame on Canada and the corruption they bring to hockey.
