- Texas Dave and Ol' Dirty Roy, for whatever reason, decide that an MGB GT is a good idea for a vintage rally car.
I guess if it only needs 31 ft of tubing for a roll cage, it can't be all bad.
What do you think, Toyota Beams or 4AG swap for the British tin can? Авто/Мото
Needs the BEANS! Beans go great with leftover corn chips after a round of hillbilly freeter fishing.
I went with a 4age 20v in mine, the Beams was going require a lot of massaging.
The 20v is a lot of fun over 5k rpm
If you can find mg mgc swivel axles for the front suspension you can bolt on 1979-1984 Toyota 4x4 brake calipers.
They’re 4 piston calipers!
(If you’re familiar, it’s the same exact calipers for the Datsun 240z Toyota bolt on brake upgrade)
Where is the follow up??
This is going to be a helluva good time if I do say so myself.
'70s British cars were built with the moto "That'll do, that'll do."
The beams is a great motor!
Aren’t you 4” taller than would comfortably fit?
More like 7.
What ever happened to the mg?
It’s around! The dozen or so rally cars we’re building for clients took the front stage for a bit but we’ll be back at it in no time.
Beams everything!
SQ Engineering slimline alternator bracket with a Toyota Echo alternator and bob's yur uncle.
We should consult with you more often.
@@RallyReady holler any time, fellas 👍
Beams mate without a doubt!
Check out "The WIDEST MGB GT in the World" video on YT.
So wild!
put a 4A-GE in it
ON IT.
Beams, duh!
Hayabusa swap
K-swaaaaaaap
K swap is even taller!! would need one of them fancy blower cut outs in the hood.
Lexus 1UZ-FE VVTi is the right answer😜💥😜
Do it
V8…. But not an ls
I mean they came with a Rover v8 for a while. That was a heckin travesty. hahaha
@@RallyReadyRover V8 is cool dude ( it’s started life as the Buick 215 aluminum v8 ) it’s a great swap for a classic Opel or a Vauxhall ( cause technically it’s still a GM engine)
