- Many of us are dealing with more mental health issues than ever before. Anxiety and depression are on the rise. PTSD and panic attacks are affecting more people. What can we do? In this message, we take a look at what the Bible says about mental and emotional disorders and where we can find healing and growth in our lives. God has given us the tools and resources to repair our mental health. Yes the Bible is one of them, but God has also given people the skills of creating medication, or the gifts of being a counselor. Freely use the healthy gifts the Lord has given the Earth. You are loved, and you will make it through this season. God bless
I suffer from Bipolar 1 with psychosis, OCD, Panic Disorder, PTSD. I also have a host of physical ailments. Currently I am med resistant. I will not lie about my past, I did dive headfirst in occultism. I no longer practice, and i've asked Gods forgiveness. I also believe in spiritual healing. If you would be so kind to pray, I would greatly appreciate it. My life is in absolute shambles. Thank you.

I have compounded complex PTSD and boarding personality. For a few years my health had me in bed more than not. I too have been pagan most my life. Just before last Christmas I was going to end my life. I prayed to God to give me the strength, i meant strength to pull the trigger. It was about 3 or 4 am and my daughter came in the room telling me something was keeping her from sleeping. It was the urge to come check on me. My daughters are my greatest strength.
I realized that God did send me strength.
I am proud to say I was saved shortly after. I was baptized at 52 years old last fall. My life has changed so drastically. The first time in my life that I am not in a dark place. It's like I stepped into a warm sunshine and I'm basking in the warmth.
Sorry so much, don't be ashamed about occultism, it's really a blessing. Maybe one day you will be able to tell your testimony to someone else that is where you were. I'm trying to r reach out to all my pagan friends..

I was diagnosed with schizophrenia at 21 I am now 49 and walking with the Lord after an encounter when I was 31. this was a great sermon. Thank you

I was born schizophrenic with Bipolar tendencies ADD ADHD severe Insomnia I have severe rage impulses but I have come home to the lord trusting him to transform me
Now here's what I believe is the reality of it and we all don't like to see it this way because of difference in opinions and ideologies, but mental health disorders exist for the same reasoning that natural disasters do...... because of humanity's sinful nature, yet God gracefully helps us through it because of how much He loves us. Trust me that's not as contradictory as it may sound.
What a great message. I truly believe the closer your relationship with God the less of a grip anxiety and depression will have on you.
Amen! It's definitely a process and is different for everyone, but being close to God makes a difference 🙏

I was cured of severe, suicidal depression with antibiotics meant for a sinus infection. I had suspected bad gut bacteria for years because five foods were causing it, but the bacteria needed to be killed and I didn't know how to do it. The antibiotics killed it and I have had no depression since. My depression, out of a 1-10, was a 100. It was horrific.

So I have struggled so much with my mental health for many many years!!!! I thought it was because I am cursed or something. I honestly don’t know why, probably cause I been through so much trauma in my life too. Abuse emotionally, and verbally, and all that had to go through so many difficulties, but after watching this video. I will follow through and not let the devil use me in a terrible way.
Please pray for me and all my mental struggles. I feel so isolated. Great message and I feel a some hope after listening.. also please pray for my family members that struggle with addiction and homelessness.

I do too. My grandchildren are autistic and adhd and I didn't know where it came from and my youngest daughter also now and my oldest so I never thought about adhd. I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder and other things. I never have a sound mind,joy or peace and that's fruit of the spirit. So the enemy tried to use this against me. And some Christians can say what he said they say. It just gives me a bigger heart towards mentally ill. We can't be perfect.
It is sad that people with metal health are not supported to take medication. I was so stubborn to not take it shame that I had this and my life has been so unstable. I finally realize I have to be on meds for rest of my life. Thank God that there is medicine. I hope to start a new life in sound mind

I am autistic. To be autistic is to be malinterpreted and to misunderstand.
To be autistic is to be bullied, disregarded, and ultimately ostracized. Even in the church.
I've accepted exhile. It's prudent to be a hermit.
God says I'm fearfully made. People treat me like dung. So, I guess I'm fearfully and wonderfully made dung.
Asking why is pointless. God will start with "Where were you when I laid the foundations of the world?" Then he'll blather on for three or four chapters.
In the end we all face Job's choice. Take his wifes advice and curse God and die or say naked I came into this world and naked I will leave it. Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Take the long view because hell will still suck when every star in the sky has burned out.
Please pray for me I have adhd depression anxiety I'm 43 struggling my husband of 20 years cheated on me with my sister left me it is me my daughter and 2 grand baby's no car getting evicted haven't been able to pay rent I'm scarred and don't know what to do😢

Abuse, chronic illness, abandonment, rejection, betrayal, 24/7 suffering, isolation not on purpose, forced into it, no support, toxins stuck in the body, malnourishment, inability to sleep, loss of child, the church has not been a safe place

This is what is so frustrating for me. I come here in hopes to get help with my depression in hopes of getting closer to God. And you say thing like god doesnt create or cause eveil but in isaiah 45:7 it clearly says that. Maybe it because Lord is baal. I have been struggling so terribly
We're sorry to hear that you're struggling with depression. Isaiah 45:7 is not saying that it's God who creates evil, but emphasizing that ultimately everything happens under God's sovereignty. He allows negative things to happen, for reasons we can't always understand (Job's sufferings, Paul's thorn, etc), but He does not morally create evil. We're praying for you - that you continue to seek God and experience the fullness of His presence.

If we've heard the message of Jesus, we'll be accountable for whether or not we believed. But God is also a totally just and fair judge, and knows our hearts better than we even know ourselves.

Just one council from a psychologist who is actually suffering from depression right now ... don't say " I don't want to offend you with this word disorder..." Actually it is a disorder , it's the truth, smthng is not right .. smthng wrong in owr mind and thoughts and feeling that needs to be fixed.... disorder= to I'm not ok right now D's+ order...it means no order... confusion, unregular thoughts and understanding..ecc..a calling for help...it's when u read a book for example a math book, it's all organizate well, the book it's perfect made..it's all correct...but u can't understand anything...for u is so disorganized that u start even not to remember how to count from 1to 10 anymore.... that's what a disorder is....God bless

@@accessmn I understand u , thank u for replying me to back...and yes it's true it's hard to try help Christians with mental health issues or emotional health issues..ur doing a great job as a start...I'm insipired by you...to try to translate your researching in my language and to help christian people from my country as well whom are in this position... we should all take it more seriously as we're reselling not against flesh and blood but it's a spiritual battle as Paul's will mention in mostly of his letters...so great job guys! Thank you for your attention..it means a lot for a depressed 35 young woman..who is Christian and love Jesus Christ as God and savior! 🙏
