Neat stuff but bold of Cat to think 992s only dig from piles. I’d imagine the computer would have a shit fit with me stripping top soil off thinking I’m curling at a bad time or some other thing.
I'll be receiving a next gen 92 in Oct at Calportland Inc......all this gimmicky/automated/computer CRAP is ridiculous ! Been an operator for 35 yrs, most of that in 88s, and 92s....never had an issue "pinning" the tires, loading the bucket, managing the powertrain ect manually in the "dig cycle".....it's called experience/skill
This stuff is targetted to assist new operators and it,s not crap, you called it correct about being about experience and skill but i bet my house you have seen operators with poor experience and skill put on machines that need that to get the most out of them....Nothing can replace experience or skill but you cant get that overnight, this stuff is there to help with that.
@@Gavin84w we don't put inexperienced people on 1-2 $million dollar pieces of equipment...they work up from smaller machines...and yes it is CRAP....learn the old way...LOOK/LISTEN/FEEL what you're doing
