When "Not Afraid" came out, I was hooked on stimulants and sleeping pills and felt lost and alone in a dead end road. Then I listened to it and I realized that the way out of pills actually exists, but I had to keep strong and look for it. To be honest when I listen to Tragic Endings and Castle, his voice sounds like he had this song produced a few years ago and not 2017 because if you compare that to how his voice sounds now, they sound different. Especially Castle where he says "I'm getting sick of chasin' this illusion" or "I'ma turn into someone", it sounds like he changed some parts of the lyrics and put them in the song just recently.

There's just something about this performance that get's me.... Him rapping with this song with the blonde hair just resonated with me because it's a representation of how far he's come. His musical journey and his spiritual journey. We first got introduced to Eminem with blonde hair back in 99 with him saying all these crazy things and now here he his. After all these years, still the same guy with the same blonde hair who's gone through so much and has come out on top. And I love how his face looks all rough because it shows how he's been through so much shit and is still standing and still here. That's what him performing this song at this moment means to me.
Ikr, back in the days he would sing "Hi my name is Slim Shady" with a kind of unexperienced vibe and a lot of energy around the stage, today he is rapping with the weight of the years of his career and he seems more focused on the message he's delivering while he's on stage. Em truly grew up, he used to inspire energy and insolence, now he oozes charisma.
He sounds different but perfect to the pitch. Noone can reproduce the studio voice in when performing live. If you hear 100% matching studio voice in a live performance , believe me it is mere lip sync

There's just something about this performance that get's me.... Him rapping with this song with the blonde hair just resonated with me because it's a representation of how far he's come. His musical journey and his spiritual journey. We first got introduced to Eminem with blonde hair back in 99 with him saying all these crazy things and now here he his. After all these years, still the same guy with the same blonde hair who's gone through so much and has come out on top. And I love how his face looks all rough because it shows how he's been through so much shit and is still standing and still here. That's what him performing this song at this moment means to me.

Ikr, back in the days he would sing "Hi my name is Slim Shady" with a kind of unexperienced vibe and a lot of energy around the stage, today he is rapping with the weight of the years of his career and he seems more focused on the message he's delivering while he's on stage.
