Samisoni is as solid and humble as they come…and fun
The way he talks about doing the ‘dirty work’ to keep ‘the enemy’ at bay, just brings a great chuckle.
He is destined to become one of the ‘great ones’ yet. Glad he rates Marx so highly
~ in fact, what’s nice is the fact that he is figuring Marx’s tricks and finding ways with it. It says SO much about spirit and attitude, commintment…
Your show is doing great things here, thank you kindly. Great to be able to listen to and view. Exciting times…
And the AB’s have grasped some solid footing now. WELL DONE!

Excellent chat with Genia. My favourite wallaby of all time. Was very interesting hearing his thoughts on the game in Aus. Would’ve been interested to hear his thoughts on how the game is growing in Perth. I’ve got mates over there that say the game is getting really popular. I think it could potentially be a real rugby stronghold in Australia. Also Soni’s insights into the forward pack, what a legend that dude is.

Sami will be one of the most important ABs over the next decade.

I agree about Scott Barrett being solid in what he does and the new additions have gone well in the forwards as well. Genia always been a smooth operator behind the scrum, no matter Aussie ain't quite there yet we can't take them likely, it'll be right up Eddie's alley to pull a rabbit out of the hat but can't see the All Blacks falling for his tricks. Play the game that's worked so well, keep it simple, eliminate errors and penalties and run with it, and the Bledisloe Cup is ours. Some interesting stuff brought up, great to hear Genia insight on what he thinks. Great interview.

Blindside play is about momentum, stoping and generating. Openside is about possesion, maintaining and recovering. A good international level openside is worth his weight on gold, Id much rather have a turnover than a dominant tackle. That being said you have to play to your strenghts, there's no point in just making up the numbers, if there are two blindsides that generste more impact than the current openside crop, then go for two blindsides, same the other way around, remember aussies with pocock/hooper or smith/waugh and england with curry/underhill.
Right now I agree there's no interntional level aussie openside, Hooper not being 1% of what he was and Mcreight just not there yet.

He gives away a solid 7 points each game with penalties, botched running plays, missed tackles and injuries he’s caused his fellow players by charging into rucks like a walrus.
