nice custom figures (I immediately noticed since the Bowser figure is based on his Nintendo incarnations rather than the one seen in the backglass in which Bowser was obviously taken from the cartoons in which he was known as King Koopa).
I bought the prev Super Mario Pinball from TnT (JAN 2014). Shipped to me in Canada. Worth every penny to buy from Todd and his team. The LEDs make you feel like your in vegas. They did an awesome re-haul on this machine. Have fun owner! Also - This game gets SO-SO gameplay reviews online which i disagree with! Its awesome fun. I never pass a pinball and not try it - I've played a bunch and this is a super fun game with tons of mini games to complete. And personally i think it has the best Gottlieb mini game on the LED screen of all released in the early 90s. You basically get a simple version of the NES Super Mario as a bonus mini game.
It really is a fun game...but I find that almost EVERY pinball ever made has many good points. (Motordome and Phoenix are perhaps my least favorite pinball machines made in all the electronic era. But this is my opinion.)
This is on my "very short list" of pinball games to hunt down once we are moved into a place with a proper arcade space. I've been really impressed with some of the multi-color DMD mods I've seen for some games, but bummed not to have seen one programmed for Mario Bros yet. If any game was screaming for a multi-color DMD, Mario is it.
Used to have this game. Enjoyed it, but the Kiddie theme was just killing me. Almost regreted selling it, but then again, not really. lol. Still one of the better Gottlieb DMD games out there
Lyle Johnson The white rubbers are definitely more bouncy than the black ones (which last longer). The flipper design on Gottlieb's plastic flipper boot are cut for the skinny ones. If fat ones are used, it directs the ball into the field wearing the paint down.
I have a question you might know the answer to, why is it so common to see modern figurines added to this machine? I've seen lots of gottlieb super mario machines that have Mario toys glued on that look to have been produced sometime in the 2010's, meanwhile this machine was made in the 90's.
every time i played this game it was 3 credits for a dollar and after 4 or 5 hours i left the game with 6 or 7 credits left from the original 3. game was very easy
Well mom came home a day early from surgery. Back pain eh oh yeah. and if she's not careful she'll fall over :( but she's supposed to exercise that back. (back brace for 3 months eek) glad to hear Steven made it thru. I'm sure you'll let him narrate a few. should set up a get well page :) Wish I'd played this game. :( hard to find them at the arcades now. Although I haven't checked of late. They closed the one in Cedar Falls mall. The one in Waterloo has this huge glow in the dark mini golf (yawn) (malls) cedar falls mall fairly dead but not broke.. waterloo one is bankrupt but many tennents still in there
At least seeing these pinballs is like you walked into Walt Disney park. In fact? This is better than Walt Disney parks. ooops did I offend kids? One day you'll be bored of Disney Parks as I have.
Did you guys replace some of the stickers? That 3D Mario "1 play, 5 plays" sticker at the bottom looks awful for the machine. Why take the modern Mario and put it on a classic machine like this from 1992.. I know its nitpicking but come on. Everything else is spot on though.
+Tejj The instruction cards and toys were on the machine when it arrived for restoration...we worked around his things since the playfield and cabinet had paint issues, and of course all the electronic repairs and mechanical rebuilds needed!
That is one of the most beautiful pinball machines I have ever seen. Awesome job on it... and I pray Steven heals up quickly from his surgery!
+Sharon Sandpiper Thanks! He healed up fine and feels great now!!
looks beautiful. better than new !
nicest mario brothers pin ive EVER seen. wow
+John Smith Thanks John!
Ha! I knew I wasn't crazy! I knew this was a real machine!
This game is a lot of fun! Jason looks like he's capable of delivering pins slung under an arm.
+Matt Johnson He's a large boy, thats for sure!
wow! that is some light show on the Mario pin. It looks awesome!
WARRIOR4CHRIST70 KZ4LIFE Yes!!
Wow man, I painted houses professionally but painting that pinball machine takes some skill..
What an amazing job of bringing that game back to life! I am blown away!!
:-0

The figures were a good idea...I agree!
Picard never gets old!!
Gorgeous machine. Would love one.
I second that! 👍
@@jovonhernandez1995 I third that!
Did you know that this machine was the Grand Prize of the player's poll contest of issue 17 of Nintendo Power magazine.
Was not aware of that!!!
I see it in Volume 38 Nintendo Power Magazine, which features "Guile" from Street Fighter II on the cover of the magazine. It's on Page 98.
That's soooo awesome your like the "cosmetic surgeon" of the arcade\pinball industry.
It sure does look good!!

You boys are hilarious....
:-) Glad you like us! But with THREE thumbs down, obviously 3 people do NOT like our sense of humor!

I am sure that will happen soon!
I remember playing this game sometime in the early 1990s. I still remember it saying "Oh Yoshi!"
thats correct!
@@tntamusements This was before Mario got a permanent voice actor. The voice sounds like his voice on the Super Mario Bros. Super Show.
@@CreesNostalgiaHutyou’d be correct.
My shield doesn't come up during invincible mode :( , love your videos , keep em coming!!

+dustygrady It was Gottlieb;s first dot matrix game and used it well too!
I imagine the fat rubbers on the flippers cuts down on how far the ball goes as hitting the play field more.

well, alot of people add toys to their machines...that wasn;t from the pinball factory...but by the homeowners.
What's happening "tomorow" that you would be willing to spend money on, but not "today"? You guys mentioned it in the video, now I'm curious...lol
Realmente muy agradecido por la traduccion
Awesome job
Thank you!
Do you say at 4:34 that you put three in concession? I love you guys. Hi from Australia. Great videos.
+George Price He meant "three in succession" ...he's a good lad!
Thanks ... youre the best man.
:-)
When you say you're suprised about people not changing that target, what do you mean exactly?
Good job !!! Bros!!!
Thank you!
wait... THIS MACHINE EXISTS!?
Wow it looks like new.

This pinball used to be super cheap, now it’s $6000😅
how many of these machines have been made. I have only seen this in 3 places. two test arcades and once in a museum
+Rich Dziuba You may find more info about them here www.ipdb.org
todd tuckey you disearve your own branded pinball. im sure someone will do it someday ;)
every time i played this game it was 3 credits for a dollar and after 4 or 5 hours i left the game with 6 or 7 credits left from the original 3. game was very easy
Hey Todd, have you considered premium non-ghosting LEDs for under the playfield? Cointaker.com has quite a variety!

Glad both your Mom and Steve are recovering!! Yes...this is a good pinball!!
7:00 o.O
Any one have one of these for sale? I love to have one but most are way to expensive for me.

never...as a matter of fact, my daughter and I are planning another trip
Anyone know how to turn on volume
inside the coin door on laft side is the silver shaft that is the volume control.

Squirt some jism? :o
Couldn't resist! We have called it that for years and years at our shop.
Man, I laughed so hard at that. Lucky I am working from home today...

Just make sure you do it handheld! ;)
