I was drooling over your beautiful blue sweater in the video and instead of buying one I shopped my husbands closet and found a navy blue oversized sweater I will totally wear. Thanks for the inspiration and I will shop my husbands closet from now on ❤
Given how different the contents of all our closets are, your modelling of the process you go through is at least as helpful as the actual outfits you come up with.
Thank you for these videos. These videos have really helped me appreciate and pull outfits out of my closet. I have a lot of thrifted pieces and hand me downs that I like but never new how to put together. Since learning from your videos, I have received compliments on my outfits. I am surprised as I realized that my looks are unique when I’m out in public.
Loved the last look the most and I agreed with Sezanne, it's their styling that really makes the pieces pop. I try to take my inspiration from their pictures and use what I have
In the 2nd look, the line of belly could just as well be a line of belt. It's the contrast I notice. Your interpretation of the 3rd look is the best -- practical AND sexy at the same time! Another thing to try is that same teal vneck sweater over the skirt and turtleneck. It changes up the colors to softened but not monochromatic, still would give the bulky proportion on top. Give it a try! Thanks. Always fun to watch shop-my-closet.
This has to be one of the best fashion videos I have ever seen. Now I’m going binge watch all the older ones. So excited to have found your channel. I’d never heard of slow fashion but loving it!
Agree 100%. I've been getting mildly depressed by some of the other fashion videos and the unspoken pressure to shop their links which are usually a fortune. Thank you Alyssa!
I just love watching the process of how you style inspiration! So incredibly helpful! You are the reason why I do not have every style boot in every color…😅
I have to say I really love outfits 2 & 3, and I appreciate how you've broken down the elements of the inspiration outfit rather than just copying it. I really shows how you can use inspiration when shopping your own closet.
You nailed the first look, as always! Looove Sezanne! Add your Gucci(?) scarf around your head to complete 3rd look!! You are my fave stylist! I will vote for you for the Canadian fashion award❤
Yay! Nailed every look! I was so inspired I ran upstairs to grab a jacket and skirt I never would have worn together! So wearing it to dinner next week! Thank you so much! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
Never would I ever think of wearing black shoes with beige/brown-ish clothes. I would go with the brown ones or maybe some other color no matter the texture , but now I see it would be boring...as opposed to your look! Wow. And generally, thank you for this type of videos, it really helps to break the styling down into something doable and brings some structure in the process :)
As always, your content is inspiring! I am trying a low buy year as I prefer to spend my money on my daughter’s wedding in 2024! However I am attending a winter wedding in August and trying to “shop my closet” for the event. Would you consider making a “shop your closet” video on winter wedding outfit ideas? With love from an Australian Italian to a Canadian Italian xx
Thank ou so much for your fun Sundays. It is amazing, how interesting is to play what you already have. I love stripes, this dress is amazing, but for me it feels not that cool wearing it. Is like more or less uniform. Then you put you over knee boots and I am thrilled by result. Thank you so much, all three looks are amazing. And as someone said, if it is too cold, the leather belt with cream color could do the job! Thank you so much 💖
Speaking of fabrics, I also give to thrift stores, and I grave awesome pics from The gap, Banana Republic. Or even JGrew (most of my 99's favorite) where you get beautiful fabrics and we'll curated. That's the way I get great treasure pieces from the 90's And thanks Alissa for the proportion and color advise. Hugs for you and Apollo, wishing you the best this 2023 and the next coming CIAO
I just love love your style 😊 I can’t stop watching your old videos I’m learning so much and at the same-time discovering the new me…. 50+ and fabulous not to mention single, FREE…… thank you for inspiring me. Xoxo
I liked the last outfit. If the cream sweater is a big cowlneck, you can pull up the cowl over the back of your head and mirror the balaclava-ish effect.
Wow!! Great design ideas for utilizing elements of style to pull out cool and nouveau outfits….I love all three…that silk skirt at the end- I LOVE it…best purchase I think you’ve made….it looks great in so many outfits…I WILL be. Hunting for a similar style …. The cute. Camel and black trimmed jacked with that monochrome outfit is adorable…Finally - the bear jacket with the groovy skirt…so far out and 60’s Marianne Faithful throwback…marvelous…Cher would also be proud…Thanks so much Alyssa…Oh I finally gave Ana Luisa a try…cute and affordable earrings…and other goodies..
I like them all! Don’t have the striped dress but DO have a striped sweater and love the layers so might try it with a short navy skirt. The last look is amazing!
I love your delight when you come up with a look you love. You are utterly adorable Alyssa. (I also love the little dance at the beginning. "It’s the second Sunday of the month. You know what that means. .) Thanks for the video Alyssa!
I love this approach and how you’ve explained things. Pulling out key details from the inspiration, pointing out what you’ve done with your own wardrobe. Love it, thank you!
PS Alyssa, liked the blues you are wearing in this episode, moody and wintry as well as snug and understated. I know blues are ' on trend's but yours is a great version...
Love the new pieces you have recently added to your wardrobe, Alyssa. The 'bit of stomach' 😄 outfit on you is my fav this time. But all were fabulous. Thank you 😊
Amazing Alyssa. I love this video! The outfit that you create with the slip skirt is faaar away better than the inspo👏👏👏You bright in the brown's colors🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟A big hug from Argentina
I love your down to earth, sensible, frugal--and yet very chic and stylish--approach to dressing. I'm not someone who likes to spend a lot of time on fashion, but you make it easy and fun. It all makes sense. Thanks for the inspiration.
You created very chic outfits inspired by Pinterest! I love how when we allow ourselves to be playful is where it wears the magic, the creativity taking place. It's awesome!!
Wow trois super beaux look!! Si j'avais 120 livres de moins ça serait tellement faisable mais quand tu es dodue, c'est bien différent. Continue ton bon travail!!
I also like the way you articulate the "why" behind your styling choices. Your video on travel outfits is helping me plan what to bring on my vacation, too.
The over-the-knee boots ❤ so perfect with the striped dress, and one button undone was a great detail! The tonal dressing in the third outfit beautifully worked with the textures. I learned a lot from thinking about the difference between your outfit and the inspo pic. In the Filippa K look, because the boot was a print it balances the combined color and texture above. It’s a maximalist approach. 🤔You’re interpretation was more minimalist, which aligns with your style and closet. Thanks for showing how you can do that!
Hello, im enjoying your take on these catwalk looks and its refreshing and very inspiring when translated into everday wear that anyone could try with your advice and tips. Thank you
I love, love and love some more the concept of slow fashion and how to make something feel current that you already own. You are so inspiring. Thank you!! :)
I have a long gray plaid cardigan that hits the same notes as the coat in the second look, and I can easily wear it over a solid black or dark gray base. Thank you for that idea.
I liked all the outfits you created but the way you worked your style in with the items you own was brilliant. I really didn't like the 3rd look image but you created something totally doable and looks amazing.
Wow, those are really great outfits!! I just love how cool you combine the outfits with your clothes!! I wish I had a little more time for my closet to try more. Many greetings from Germany! Madita.
I can recreate the 2nd and 3rd outfit because I have similar items in my closet. It’s fun to browse fashion week street style photos and see if I could have versions from what I already have :)
I was drooling over your beautiful blue sweater in the video and instead of buying one I shopped my husbands closet and found a navy blue oversized sweater I will totally wear. Thanks for the inspiration and I will shop my husbands closet from now on ❤
I like seeing your videos because it makes me look at my closet in a different way
Love how you get creative and see what you can do with what you already have. Super inspiring🎉
my favorite series! :))
The third look is so luxurious and feminine!
Given how different the contents of all our closets are, your modelling of the process you go through is at least as helpful as the actual outfits you come up with.
The last outfit was absolutely gorgeous 🤩 the outfit in the pic was very questionable (to me) but you took it and brought it to life!
I missed this video before, but I love all 3 of these outfits. You nailed all 3!
Love the second outfit! Super cute!
Love these looks and your excitement when they work !
Knocked it out of the park!! I loved all of these!! ❤
Also like the third outfit the best. Think anything goes great with that skirt. What a gem it is
Great ideas! 👍
Loved the striped outfit and adored the bulky soft jacket and silk skirt. Lovely colors!
Thank you for these videos. These videos have really helped me appreciate and pull outfits out of my closet. I have a lot of thrifted pieces and hand me downs that I like but never new how to put together. Since learning from your videos, I have received compliments on my outfits. Loved the last look the most and I agreed with Sezanne, it's their styling that really makes the pieces pop. I try to take my inspiration from their pictures and use what I have
All you looks were home runs today. I loved all of them and I actually liked what you came up with as compared to the original look!
Ooooh what a great idea!! Thank you!
I was thinking a nude coloured base could also give the look of skin without actually exposing ones skin.
Maybe without the turtleneck- a sexier look!
Loved all the looks!
This has to be one of the best fashion videos I have ever seen. Now I’m going binge watch all the older ones. So excited to have found your channel. I’d never heard of slow fashion but loving it!
Aw wow what a compliment thank you Crystal! Welcome ! I hope you enjoy the channel xx
Agree 100%. I've been getting mildly depressed by some of the other fashion videos and the unspoken pressure to shop their links which are usually a fortune. Thank you Alyssa!
I love love love these outfits. You are so creative, and this video format is genius. Tomorrow I will shop my closet as well :D
I just love watching the process of how you style inspiration! So incredibly helpful! You are the reason why I do not have every style boot in every color…😅
Look 3: your Version is so much more fun. As every time so much fun and so inspirational. Greetings from Germany 🤗
Love love love the last two outfits, how gorgeous!!!😍
One of my favorite video contents by one of my favorite RUclipsrs .. 😊❤️💯
Shop-your-closet week is my favorite!
💃💃💃mine too xx
#1 and #2 . . . gah!! 😍😍 so chic and so inspirational/instructive.
Finally, was the eagerly waiting for this ❤️
I have to say I really love outfits 2 & 3, and I appreciate how you've broken down the elements of the inspiration outfit rather than just copying it. I really shows how you can use inspiration when shopping your own closet.
I’m glad we’re friends ❤
This time, your outfits turned out even better then the inspiration. I love following along your process!
Thank you!
All amazing outfits. Then I went to my closet and put together my interpretation of the last outfit! Win!
You nailed the first look, as always! Looove Sezanne! Add your Gucci(?) scarf around your head to complete 3rd look!! You are my fave stylist! I will vote for you for the Canadian fashion award❤
Ooh the Gucci scarf is a good idea! Thanks for that :)
Yay! Nailed every look! I was so inspired I ran upstairs to grab a jacket and skirt I never would have worn together! So wearing it to dinner next week! Thank you so much! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
You absolutely nailed all three looks. I prefer your versions. You have three very chic outfits, which I hope you wear this coming week.
Thank you! Definitely already planned number 1!
I love your excitement when you find a pairing you love💜💜💜
Look 1 and 3 are better than the original. Thank you always
Love the third outfit.. so luxe looking.
Never would I ever think of wearing black shoes with beige/brown-ish clothes. I would go with the brown ones or maybe some other color no matter the texture , but now I see it would be boring...as opposed to your look! Wow.

Wow, you've lifted my spirit from the first seconds, so the thumbs up goes straight at the beginning 🙂 content is great too, though🙂

Loved the satin skirt outfit!
Great looks, Alyssa!!
Your third outfit was my fave! So chic...effortless, elegant and a bit retro. Thanks for all the looks!
It was my favorite as well!
Wow so glad you liked it!
I’ve always think that “layering” it’s only for skinny people. I’m not skinny and I feel I look thicker. Love ur channel ❤
Love how you take the elements and use your own clothes. Love all your videos
Nailed them! #1 is my fav... You know that! #2 was lots of fun! Xo J
I liked the last outfit. If the cream sweater is a big cowlneck, you can pull up the cowl over the back of your head and mirror the balaclava-ish effect.
Love love love! That dress with black boots! I love stripes!
Love the silky skirt with teddy bear jacket!
loved these looks...
Love this one! I too love the sweater dress with the thigh high boots! All around great video❤
Thank you!
You’re outfits look better than the ones modeled! Love your style!❤😊

Fun! That sounds like a great combo Kathy!
👍 fyi I liked the lighter boots with the GAP sweater dress, but you made it rock with the over the knee boots too!❤️
I loved all the outfits! Your videos are so informative and inspiring. I love how you break down the elements of style. ❤
I love your delight when you come up with a look you love. You are utterly adorable Alyssa. (I also love the little dance at the beginning. "It’s the second Sunday of the month. You know what that means. .) Thanks for the video Alyssa!

PS Alyssa, liked the blues you are wearing in this episode, moody and wintry as well as snug and understated. I know blues are ' on trend's but yours is a great version...
The third look is fabulous!
I loved all your looks, they were way more beautiful and realistic than the inspo photos. Your silk skirt is absolutely stunning. 🌹

You are such a maitresse of breaking down an outfit and making it work for you. Brava from Coimbra. Portugal is wonderful!
All of them hits definitely🎯❣️
Nailed it!!!!❤❤❤❤
Súper hit!! ❤🎉
You created very chic outfits inspired by Pinterest! I love how when we allow ourselves to be playful is where it wears the magic, the creativity taking place. It's awesome!!
Absolutely! Playing with our clothes creates the magic well said :)
Love all the outfits but nr 2 maybe the most❤
Wow trois super beaux look!! Si j'avais 120 livres de moins ça serait tellement faisable mais quand tu es dodue, c'est bien différent. Continue ton bon travail!!
I really liked all 3 looks. The second look really worked for you!
you are my new favorite RUclipsr. Thank you so much.
Love the last one!!!😊

Very insightful!

Love ! So much fun🙂
I liked all three looks.
Those looks are genius! Very amazed how you used the examples!
The look is definately in the proportions! love the talk through and love the looks and would wear them all :-) I like your versions better!
Pretend this is Sunday! Sorry for missing this yesterday! Xo j
I enjoy your videos so much. It was so nice to see you so excited and happy with outfit 2 I enjoy doing the same with my clothes. 😊
That skirt is always a win! I loved look two especially.
I have a long gray plaid cardigan that hits the same notes as the coat in the second look, and I can easily wear it over a solid black or dark gray base. Thank you for that idea.
Love that!
I liked all the outfits you created but the way you worked your style in with the items you own was brilliant. I really didn't like the 3rd look image but you created something totally doable and looks amazing.
The nice thing is that we just take inspiration, and create our own masterpiece!
Thanks Robin xx
Best shop your closet yet! Thanks! All your outfits looked great.
Signed up for the shop your closet event. I am really excited.
Ooooooh thank you Kathy!!
All of these looks are just spot on! Hits in my books 🎉
All 3 outfits are super cute!
Loved these outfits. And I adore that final jacket of yours
Wow, those are really great outfits!! I just love how cool you combine the outfits with your clothes!! I wish I had a little more time for my closet to try more. Many greetings from Germany! Madita.
Hi Madita I'm glad you liked the video!!

I loved all the outfits!
