Two years later and I needed to hear this.
Hi Erica I’m 52 and still don’t love my self but I’m gonna start my self esteem is low people have be me down but God is key in my life and I know he doesn’t feel that way about me Thank u Erica I look up to u so much I’m older but God uses u to help me 💕🙏🏽
I need this because I feel like I’m going through this right now; as well as someone who’s attached to me too. I just blow-dried my hair, and was fussing about getting my end trimmed but not finding any qualifiable beauticians in my area; accepting that I walk with a limp now, from a work injury; not having the body that these shallow men-child’s devour over, etc. I am accepting and loving myself in my new season because God has blessed me with: LIFE.

Thank you, Erica, for that! ✋🏼 I just came in the house from the market, feeling so down on myself and so unworthy of love ❤️ from anybody, especially men. And sometimes - yes - Christian men even more so. Nothing seems to be working out for me - my songwriting, finances, house issues, relationships. I was feeling like God must not love me either. I lay down to watch a movie, but instead checked RUclips and, oddly, my subscriptions which I hardly do. I was going to watch another channel but felt compelled to check yours first. I needed to hear this. Right now. Thank you so much not only for your encouraging words, but for sharing your story. I, too, tried to commit suicide around the same age and several times thereafter. I admit those negative thoughts are still a battle at times. Thank u for reminding us that there is no temptation unique to any of us though we may feel isolated in our suffering. Thank you, and God bless you.
LORD, LORD! I heard you say this this morning! I must say for some reason I thought you were a little, JUST a little "shy/reserved." I didn't know until your radio show that you are such a BOSS, take no prisoners (still with respect), just a wonderfully, confident woman of God. Thank you so much for this Ms. Erica Campbell I'm currently on a journey of loving myself an having better self esteem. I am a Sexual Abuse/Physical abuse survivor an was actually gonna commit suicide last week but glad I didn't. I've often found myself looking for love in all the wrong places but now I'm beginning to love myself.
I refuse to beat myself up..the enemy does it enough..I don't need to do it to myself....love this,😍
