Somebody stop the dawn Won't somebody stop the dawn outside So no one sees the starlight in my eyes Wishing this red wine would kill the pain But the world keeps turning just the same And it's raining memories in my head I may be breathing but, frankly, I am dead. (Chorus)The wine and you break me in two Burning through my veins Another drink, so I may think You'll be here to stay. I'm sending out a message through the winds That weep so sad like a thousand violins Asking you to forgive me and forget After you I am still breathing But, frankly, I am dead. The wine and you break me in two Burning through my veins Another drink, so I may think You'll be here to stay. Why won't somebody Just anybody Stop the dawn outside.
I don’t think I ever remember seeing this. I had a huge crush on him in Birmingham! Thanks for sharing. Any idea what he’s saying in the lyrics they cut out for the final version?
No changes were made in the lyrics, only the arrangement for the orchestra was modified. The English lyrics were an exact translation of the macedonian version. You can find them in our next post or go to ruclips.net/video/QxqhNs5BxZc/видео.html
I wouldn't say ethnic, but rather more melodic and more emotional. In my opinion, this version is much better than the Eurovision one. That is also due to the longer and slower chorus and, oh my God, that way of singing! This version has more soul and emotions. Vlado is relaxed and charismatic here, as well. I can see why it won, too. :)
katastrofalna greska bese sto se smeni verzijata na pesnava za da izgleda po "light" i evropska za na Eurosong. so promenite i ja promenija totalno dusata i sustinata.
Mnogu ubava pesna, prekrasna ❤️
Love this version!
Me too
Somebody stop the dawn
Won't somebody stop the dawn outside
So no one sees the starlight in my eyes
Wishing this red wine would kill the pain
But the world keeps turning just the same
And it's raining memories in my head
I may be breathing but, frankly, I am dead.
(Chorus)The wine and you break me in two
Burning through my veins
Another drink, so I may think
You'll be here to stay.
I'm sending out a message through the winds
That weep so sad like a thousand violins
Asking you to forgive me and forget
After you I am still breathing
But, frankly, I am dead.
The wine and you break me in two
Burning through my veins
Another drink, so I may think
You'll be here to stay.
Why won't somebody
Just anybody
Stop the dawn outside.

Edna i edinstvena najdobra pesna do sega za evrosong.Bez razlika na plasman spored moj licen vkus.
Оваа ми е омилената од неговите
Sounds more ethnic in it's original version, but a great song nonetheless. I can see why he won.

За оние што незнаат,Владо текстот за Не зори,зоро го напишал за неговата тогашна девојка додека бил во престојот во Русија

Birmingham version was so much better.
Требаше да настапи со истиот аранжман - верзијата за Бирмингем му беше жива глупост.
