I love Jessica Jones for other reasons rather than "this show is badass", though it is, or "these actors are really great", though they are. TV in recent years has really set a new standard of quality, so we're not short on good television. I enjoy Jessica Jones in particular for reasons a lot of the reviews mentioned - because it talks about trauma and abuse in a really modern progressive way, and because as a female viewer, I was really craving shows with female leads that are interesting, flawed, compelling and unapologetic - Yet never deny their own womanhood which is so important. I think the entertainment world is practically demanding more variety in representation and it's proving profitable too, and I'm loving that. We're ready for game-changing media in that way. The finale felt satisfying and got me pumped for more, but the almost anti-climatic death of Killgrave really put the icing on the cake. That's how it needed to happen - even if it's not permanent - Personal, raw, deceitful. Smashing him dead with bare hands. Overall this is a show I want more of, definitely!
Great performance by David Tenant. I really enjoyed him as a villain. I watched the entire season in about 5 days. I know tons of people who say they will watch i9t but probably never will. I can't get enough of comic book shows. Killgrave had such a cool super power and I loved his character. Total sociopath engulfed in himself, a totally selfish person. Now we get to look forward to Daredevil season 2 and Punisher! Thanks for the video Charlie. Lots of good information.
+Toxic Pic It was especially cool to see a character like Killgrave's portrayed so well. I played a Dungeon & Dragons style game about super heroes and played a sort of telepath with similar abilities and it was interesting to consider the dynamics between a 'morally just' mind controller and a 'immoral psychopath' mind controller.
+Andy Ramirez I mean, not that education and intelligence are directly proportional or anything, but Matt's a Lawyer, and a decent one at that. I think Jessica is definitely more flexible than him though.
+Andrew Farr It sounds logical but I don't think it will work. Considering Simpson and even Cage were ineffective if not an actual hindrance, I doubt the creators of Jessica Jones want a male co-lead.
+Emergency Awesome No Netflix, no premium cable, barely above broadcast (but with On Demand!). I figure I'll binge on Netflix Jan-Feb, when it's cold and nasty and snowy around here. March for big movies and next TV season. I don't mind the spoilers, as I have an extensive comics history, and my interest is in how the story is told. btw, Charlie, re: Iron Fist, in all the stuff you've read and heard, has the name of Kaare Andrews come up?
They said Luke Cage would be in the Summer. April - Daredevil July - Luke Cage November - Jessica Jones Febuary - Iron Fist that's how i would do it and Defenders can come in like May.
Chris Sixx Well they either do it my way that makes the most sense or do it in a way that messes up their schedule and we would have to wait for certain things to come about
I wasn't surprised but I too want more Tennant. Btw if you like him, be sure to check out Broadchurch. Second season JUST dropped on Netflix. It's really good
When Jessica lifted him up by the throat, I shouted: "Oh, s#*t! She's gonna rip his tongue out!" Not to pat myself on the back or anything, but I think ripping out his tongue would've been way cooler than breaking his neck and killing him. Thematically, its the metaphorical equivalent of cutting off a rapist's johnson and would've felt more in line with the adult current of the series.
So glad to finally get this video...I feel like an episode isn't complete until I get to log in here and see what you thought/the rest of your followers! Thanks for creating a place like this Charlie!!
Grant Ward is a pretty compelling villain. He's pretty much the same as Killgrave with his parent issues and wanting to fill a void. The most recently episode really defines the character sympathetically.
I still think Kingpin was better, his story is more human and relatable then Kilgrave. Plus I've always had a time for Villians and Heroes that don't have superpowers.
agree but maybe it's cause I'm a huge fan of the mcu and this Netflix universe and kingpin has sooo much cross over potential plus kingpin is one of the greatest villains of all time and he was done so well
They both kicked total ass in their respective series, and they both bring something so intimately horrifying while adding a palpable (albeit twisted) layer of sympathy you don't get in many villains. In the long run Kingpin simply has more legs as a recurring villain than Kilgrave, which is why I think it was smart to kill Kilgrave off at the end of Jessica Jones. At the heart of it, he's an uber-powered stalker and sadistic rapist. Worked brilliantly for one season but would've gotten old fast. Kingpin is only now on the rise. He has a lot of room to grow even more powerful and monstrous.
My question is, if they drop 3 series in a year the way they do it (the whole season all at once), will they explain the time frame? like in one series will they explain that it takes place before or after another series? or will it go chronologically by release? like season 2 of daredevil take place post Jessica Jones and then the next series that comes out the same year will take place after that. and I really hope that after defenders where they all meet up, their second seasons have a Flarrow kind of part to it. I think the idea of 2-3 heroes rather than a huge series with 6-7 heroes even if it's just for 1-2 episodes gives them more screen time and character development. I'd love to see daredevil meet Jessica Jones and team up to take down some kidnappers. Or kingpin mix it up with another shows villain for some team up.
+michael giraldo In the MCU it's been that way. Everything is in chronological order by their release date, except for Hulk (2008) that took place after Iron Man 2 (2010).
All of your videos are so great for my inner nerd!! I binged Jessica Jones the day it came out! And being able to watch this was sort of the closure I needed! Thanks for making it and keep doing an awesome job!
"Jessica and Luke" should be the "Jessica Jones Season 2" and "Luke Cage Season 2" after the Defenders. Just make it one show. That way we can have Daredevil, Iron Fist, Punisher, & Jessica and Luke.
cosmosgato yeah but it kinda already happened in jessica jones season 1. So obviously them being different shows doesn't matter. Having Luke and Jessica in one show already works.
Hey Charlie, I love all of your content, your insights are awesome and sometimes I end up watching more of your stuff than watching the actual show! :) May I offer one suggestion? Consider turning down the bass on your mic. It's a bit difficult to listen to your videos and I have to put the volume all the way down, which makes every thing you're saying harder to understand. Nonetheless, keep up the great work!
wow he played killgrave amazingly! Such a good actor and Im sad about Simpson, I loved him with Trish! The craziest moment for me was prob the arms cut off the poor dad
I'm surprised they killed off her biggest villain in the first season. But I enjoyed this a thousand times more than Daredevil, and I want a second season this time next year at the absolute latest!
Great video Charlie! Can't wait until season 2 Daredevil and Luke Cage, but mostly for Iron Fist. Such a fantastic character imo. Also, your about to hit the 1 million subs just less than 20,000 left to go and I know you can do it because you have such great videos. Just had to put it out there
+Dakota Nelson Thanks, but not my original idea. Still, it makes sense in the context of this show as well as the larger MCU. Marvel is placing Inhumans front and center since they can't use X-men in the MCU.
***** How do we know its an organization? By no means am I saying that I know anything for sure. Maybe I missed the part where they explained that IGH was a company.
I really liked Claire/Night Nurse… I find her funny and brings freshness. Overall, it's a very good show, but for a superhero I missed the "super" part in her powers. Nice desktop background (it's from a Brazilian event. Jessica Jones/Netflix's panel suppose last 40min, but something happened and abruptly shut down).
+xXLaZyB0neZXx It would be cool to have The Mandarin as the villain, just because we havent seen a thing about him since the Marvel One Shot "All hail the king"
+John Spencer in the comics, but that doesnt mean he has them in the MCU look at Norman Osborn in the Tobey Spiderman movies, in the comcis he's got healing factor which is why he survived after being impaled, but in th movie universe he stayed dead
my favorite WTF moment was the way Kilgrave tried to slap Jessica in the face when he started descibing what he was going to do with Patsy, and being very proud of himself thinking he had defeated Jessica. Really interested to see a season 2 and more of J.J.
until middle of the show jj was great, but then it just became nonsensical when he was out to kill JJ. He could have gathered an army instead of few police guys. No alarm is that loud that you cant scream over it especially inside. and the ending oh gods, total suspension of disbelief. I would have loved if he turned his head and she threw something to kill him, instead of that nonsense. There is no way he would have tryed a command on her, like puch that man or something.
Yea no daredevil is 9.5/10 Gotham 7/10 Super girl 6/10 Flash 8/10 Jessica jones 8.5/10 Jessica jones did drag on a little to much and a few non sensical plot devices were just to convenient and annoyed me but overall really interesting and fun series
Kilgrave is a fantastic villain, and I just love the instability of the purple man, it's a scary type of villain to encounter, somebody can blow you up yes, but to make you slice your own throat just by telling you, it's a different type of terror that eats away at your mind.
David Tennant and Vincent D'onofrio both did a great job. Both their portrayals of these villains were spot on. These Netflix series are so amazing, can't wait for DDS2, Luke Cage, Iron fist, Defenders, and hopefully a Punisher series!!
A few of my favourite moments: 1. When Killgrave's Dad wakes up with no arms 2. Night nurse talking to Jessica's ex-crackhead friend. (I ship them) 3. Killgrave shouting near the end of the episode and momentarily turning into the Purple Man.
Thanks! I've been waiting for this for a while! First, I believe Kilgrave is really dead. For him to come back from the "dead" again will be a repeat of season 1 (even with enhanced powers). Second, Claire/Night Nurse wasn't the only crossover character, the cop who released Jessica from the interview room in episode 7 is the same cop who is friends with Matt& Foggy. That police station is the same one from DD.
Tennant's Killgrave definitely makes you wonder whether it is worse if a psychopath loves you or hates you. Really well done season. Can't wait for season 2.
Have had access to all episodes since it came out but haven't gotten around starting to watch it yet due to busy schedules, but your videos have me quite pumped up to enjoy the series as soon as I do get the time. :)
Netflix portrays the best version of Marvel's villans. In my opinion: 1)Killgrave 2)Kingpin 3)Loki Keep up the good work, Marvel and +Emergency Awesome!
When the Night Nurse placed a needle in Luke's eye to drain his head was sort of a nod to Daredevil when she instructed DD to stick the Russian through the eye to make him talk.
i finished it now, i binge eat all the 13 episodes today, and with today i mean i finished it 4 am, i just couldn't stop, i just loved jessica jones the character and the series, she is just awesome
I think Luke Cage is going to appear on Netflix early next year than Jessica Jones this year. I guess Luke Cage will be just a few months after Daredevil since their shooting overlapped last month.
Seeing Claire in this just made the series so much better for me. It seemed like a very slow start and episode after episode it built up but it took it some time. The thing I loved about DareDevil is you had to get through a couple episodes before you even hear of The Kingpin and then it's taking time before Murdock and Fisk actually start interacting with one another. So there was build up that made you sit on the edge of your seat. Where as in Jessica Jones seems to start right away but focus more on the drama (which isn't a bad thing, it's just different) and that gave me a different vibe. DD was more comic-oriented and JJ was more soap.
It got a little too Inspector Gadget there in the middle with Killgrave constantly getting away because of bumbling plans to capture him. Overall I liked JJ but it def dragged a bit for me. Looking forward to Luke Cage and Iron Fist!
Killgrave's death was probably the best moment for me. I thought he might get away, but as soon as he got that close to Jessica, it was over. I think he forgot he couldn't control her in the moment and that was his last mistake.
This villain was so amazing because of how small minded and broken he was. He did all of those things (forcing his father to make him stronger) just to get Jessica's. It was all for her, despite he had the ability to seriously reck havoc on the world, but all he's interested in is free food, women and 5 star hotels. Like Hogarth said: all that power wasted. In a way, Killgrave was always that sick boy, he never grew up.
i absolutely loved Jessica Jones. Krysten Ritter and David Tennant were just stand outs, giving life defining performances imo. Purple Man is my favorite villain so far... i'm a little sad he's gone. it makes sense because that what the whole series was about. my top 5 Marvel villains so far are 1) Kilgrave 2) Kingpin 3) Loki 4) Ultron 5) Red Skull
loved the entire series. characters and development of them were brilliantly done. I had a lot of feelings during this series for all involved. I think I'm biased in Fisk v Kilgrave since number 10 is still my favorite doctor.
The craziest moment is when Kilgrave breaks from that room he was trapped in and he tells Patsy: "Put a bullet in your skull Patsy" when she pulled the triggered I gasped as if she was going to die. Kilgrave is relentless.
The most freaky was the result of remove him from the face of the earth. It's not the words but what people do that's really the scary twist of Killgrave. On a lighter note, liked how Night Nurse also made fun of his name.
honestly, kilgrave almost got me to pity him for a second when he was talking about his parent experimenting on him but when he made Patsy kiss him and mean it right in front of Jessica every bit of pity I had left
Killing off Kilgrave was a bold decision from Marvel; you got your best villain and actor since your cinematic universe started, and you let him live only for one season! I mean, if they don't bring him back somehow (like in the comics, where he has some kind of healing factor) I hope at least they introduce the Purple Children eventually. I mean, can you picture Kilgrave teaming up with Fisk in The Defenders? They even can make a stand before The Avengers.
The funniest thing, I've seen on this show, is Luke Cage (with super hard skin) wearing a tiny motocycle helmet. *lol*My favorite scene actually was Jessica talking to unconcious Luke. So very touching. The series was just absolutely amazing.
I'm not the only one who noticed Kilgrave's skin turing a little purple in the end when his dad injected him, and when he used a lot of strength to stop everyone from killing themselves on the dock, right? My biggest WTF was probably Kilgrave's 'death' because his skin was starting to turn purple and then he was done. I hope he returns.
While I certainly have no qualms with anyone arguing that Kilgrave is the scariest villain in the MCU, my vote for best villain would be Kingpin, because D'onofrio and the writers fleshed his background and motivations out so fully. Tennant brought a lot to the role of Kilgrave, but it's hard to feel any sympathy for him, because he has no empathy for anyone else. He tries to convince Jessica (and the audience) that he deserves sympathy for his childhood and the fact that he can't hold a normal conversation with anyone, but he has zero remorse for his transgressions even after Jessica (who isn't under his control) spells it out to him.
Hey did you know that at the time 1:04-1:05 of the theme you can see iron fist in the window? Not even kidding he's there, he's in a window in the bottom right corner and he's shadow boxing with his bandana and it's super cool! Go check it out and tell me if you see him.
I'd say the most WTF moment for me was I think episode 9's climax scene. The revelation of her immunity, stacked on top of the complete fucking meltdown of all their hard work and plans. Just a one-two punch of holy shit what just happened.
My top 5 marvel cinematic "villains" (including Sony and Fox characters) are: 1) Otto Octavius (Sam Raimi's Spider-man 2) 2) Wilson Fisk 3) Eric Lensher/Magneto 4) Killgrave 5) James Buchanan Barnes (Bucky)
Good call on Doc Ock. Spider-Man 2 was as good as Spider-Man 3 was bad! Alfred Molina was amazing, and unlike virtually all other MCU villains, he was redeemed at the end. Great script, stellar acting. Such a shame the third movie was a giant turd!
WilliamTheBloody The third movie had potential because of Sandman, and it's pretty obvious because of the scenes with Flint with his daughter and the scene when he's in the pit of sand is trying to put himself together. The reason it sucked was cause of Sony, they forced Raimi to put Venom and the Symbiote in the movie, which ended up in the third movie's downfall and the cancellation of the sequels, causing the amazing spider-man reboot. The third movie was meant to have Vulture and Sandman, whilst the sequels would supposedly feature villains from the 60s-80s like the Lizard, Black Cat, Electro, Hobgoblin, Mysterio, Shocker, Chameleon, Scorpion, Prowler and Kraven.
at some point in the comics when killgrave got his powers increased, he also developed a some sort of regen. powers so maybe in season 2 finale they somehow revive him?
Yes my roommate hasn't seen it yet but he's going to start this week. He really had no desire to see it but since I've been talking about it and hyping it up he really wants to see it. Hope we get more episodes soon!
After last week, Kilgrave and Ward on AoS are neck and neck for best villain. Hiding from Hell's Kitchen cops in Harlem? It's the same cops. He might as well hide the next block over.
Awesome synopsis Charlie! I'd also like to find out more about IGH in S2, and definitely a Daredevil appearance. If not, I would like to see Jessica Jones, or at least a cameo, in Daredevil S2. I loved it when Night Nurse mentioned Matthew as a 'special friend,' so the crossover is going to happen eventually. Speaking of Daredevil S2, you think Punisher will be in it?
This is the reason I love TV shows and very rarely watch/enjoy movies. To me there is nothing better then great character development and it's much harder to do good character development in movies then in TV shows.
Jessica Jones was quite a show! but sometimes it's dragging a little bit, the pacing was uneven. Also there was no other villains or other major cases. The IGH was too late for that. I would also totally understand if some people that want super action packs will be disappointed by this. Hopefully Punisher will redeem that :-)
I think most who got disappointed just went in expecting a different show... completely missing the point that it is not suppose to be Daredevil at all. One is gritty Hard Crime, the other modern Noir Thriller.
My brother keeps saying he wants to watch it, hasn't seen 1 episode or trailer yet. I binge watched it myself after my cousin told me it had hit Netflix. My biggest WTF moment was how he had done the couple and father in the apartment as well as Kilgrave's moment with Patsy/Trish.
So...no one else caught Heath ledgers Joker quote JJ said to Luke? I can't remember what ep it was but she said "whatever doesn't kill you makes you stranger". Just as Joker said in the beginning of TDK.
Yep! My friend's sister is a huge Marvel fan, but has yet to find time to watching the show. They have only just recently managed to try out Agent Carter.
Kilgrave is the scariest villain I've ever seen on film or TV. He reminds me of what they did in the films with Mysique. I never thought of her as vey powerful until I saw the films. The scariest part about Kilgrave is that if he wasn't so crazy he'd be unstoppable
+yuri belkin If there is anything I've learnt from David Tennant's performances is that he doesn't do things by half. His interpretation of Kilgrave made him real, nuanced, charismatic, pathetic and menacing.
Overall this is a show I want more of, definitely!
Killgrave is the best Marvel villain so far, in my opinion.
I agree! He was too good.
Agree but also can say the for The Kingpin
+raj man I think he includes all of them, movies to. Funny thing is, noth tv villains are the best so far.
He was the most interesting I liked the whole idea of him , and his method
i liked kingpin better but kilgrave is better than any villain in the movies

He was an asshole, i'm glad is dead now
Jessica Jones and Luke Cage should basically fuse into one show for second seasons
+raj man I would argue Jessica is more integillent than Matt.
+Andrew Farr Heroes for Hire
+Andy Ramirez I can't take you seriously with that spelling.
+Andy Ramirez I mean, not that education and intelligence are directly proportional or anything, but Matt's a Lawyer, and a decent one at that. I think Jessica is definitely more flexible than him though.

Loved the reference Kilgrave got in when he told the housekeeper and the cook "Don't Blink" nice toe in with Dr. Who and the Weeping Angels.
Ha. Nice catch. That's a pretty slick reference.
I watched the whole season in two days and now I have to wait for the next one... I'm sad now
+raj man If you haven't watched it yet, Agent Carter is really good
Literally me tho
sameee
I'm not sad, I just want another date to look forward to. DD was April 10. JJ Nov. 20. What's next?
I watched them all in one go from the secondthey went online
Posting new *Game Of Thrones Season 6* footage next! I've also got some new *Star Wars Episode 7* that will probably post Monday morning :)
Nice video! keep it real charlie
+Mohamed Diouf thanks dude!

I want to see Firecat
+Emergency Awesome Wait I still don't understand how Luke Cage almost died.
Is it me, or does Simpson look and dress like Steve Rogers?
Is it obvious?
+StruggaBugga i think its intentional, since he's also another Super Soldier subject (Nuke). so he could represent a Dark Captain America
+StruggaBugga Lil bit yeah
eagc7 Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Like, wasn't he a big fan of Captain America in the comic?
Definitely has that perfect blonde 40s coif going on!
Charlie almost to 1,000,000 SUBSCRIBERS
TURN UP
+Batarang Nerd (batarangnerd) thanks!
.
+Emergency Awesome thanks for posting the Episode 13 👍😄
+Batarang Nerd (batarangnerd) Too bad the views don't add up.
They said Luke Cage would be in the Summer.
April - Daredevil
July - Luke Cage
November - Jessica Jones
Febuary - Iron Fist
that's how i would do it and Defenders can come in like May.
+Tici Toty Tony That isn't how they are going to do it.
Chris Sixx They should do it that way it makes the most sense
Tici Toty Tony They will do it the way that makes the most sense for them. Doesn't mean it is the way you would like it to be done
Chris Sixx Well they either do it my way that makes the most sense or do it in a way that messes up their schedule and we would have to wait for certain things to come about
+Tici Toty Tony Hey man I agree with that, it would make way more sense.
I was surprised by the fact they killed Killgrave. I want more Tennant!!!
I wasn't surprised but I too want more Tennant. Btw if you like him, be sure to check out Broadchurch. Second season JUST dropped on Netflix. It's really good
+Robert Colonna How did he die? No one said How he died!
waynec38 Jessica snapped his neck
I want them to make a only kilgrave series, maybe more of his backstory.
When Jessica lifted him up by the throat, I shouted: "Oh, s#*t! She's gonna rip his tongue out!" Not to pat myself on the back or anything, but I think ripping out his tongue would've been way cooler than breaking his neck and killing him. Funny. I just finished it 70 minutes ago :) And now there is an awesome video about it from an awesome channel!
+Milo36 cool!
1 Kingpin
2 Kilgrave
3 Loki
4 Winter Soldier
5 Red Skull
6 Obadiah Stane
7 Ultron
8 Ronan the Accuser
9 Abomination
10 Malekith
(I have yet to watch Antman)
YellowJacket would be right underneath Ultron.
+Nono Pearson I'd say right above ultron
nice list would put kingpin in 3rd and kilgrave at 1rst
Winter Soilder is not a villian in the MCU besides Bucky hss gained his memory back in Civil War.
Not really a spoiler but Yellowjacket won't be memorable either in Ant-Man so put him at 11.
So glad to finally get this video...I feel like an episode isn't complete until I get to log in here and see what you thought/the rest of your followers! Thanks for creating a place like this Charlie!!

+michael giraldo i honestly though spoiler alert
that when she was taken to the police station we would see matt murdock like in the alias comic
Jak Rolinn I thought the same thing when she said I need a lawyer
+michael giraldo It'll take place in order of release unless specifically stated in the series
+michael giraldo In the MCU it's been that way. Everything is in chronological order by their release date, except for Hulk (2008) that took place after Iron Man 2 (2010).
+SNOWMΛN and Captain America The First Avenger. We could also count the first scenes in Ant-Man

"Jessica and Luke" should be the "Jessica Jones Season 2" and "Luke Cage Season 2" after the Defenders. Just make it one show. That way we can have Daredevil, Iron Fist, Punisher, & Jessica and Luke.
+Connor C
Jessica Jones is too different a show.
PowerMan and IronFist make more sense if they decide to combine shows.
that would make no sense
cosmosgato yeah but it kinda already happened in jessica jones season 1. So obviously them being different shows doesn't matter. Having Luke and Jessica in one show already works.
Your description of Kilgrave was spot on! Another brilliant episode Charlie. Don't change. Or do. All the best.
They should somehow resurrect Killgrave, but this time he's being played by Matt Smith. :3
Hey Charlie, I love all of your content, your insights are awesome and sometimes I end up watching more of your stuff than watching the actual show! :)
May I offer one suggestion? Consider turning down the bass on your mic. It's a bit difficult to listen to your videos and I have to put the volume all the way down, which makes every thing you're saying harder to understand.
Nonetheless, keep up the great work!
they should make a Ghost Rider Netflix Series!
Maybe in phase 2 with moon knight if we ask enough
+abraham konate that would be awesome ! 😆
+Manny D Hawk and Dove TV show!
+YumLemmingKebabs hawk and dove are from dc not marvel so we won't be getting them :(
OU ducks I know. I just was trying to name the least popular characters I could think of.
wow he played killgrave amazingly!
+Andrew Wright He was the main villain of the first season. Most of those tend to die.
There's hope, he has a healing factor in the comics.
Great video Charlie! Can't wait until season 2 Daredevil and Luke Cage, but mostly for Iron Fist. Such a fantastic character imo. Also, your about to hit the 1 million subs just less than 20,000 left to go and I know you can do it because you have such great videos. Just had to put it out there
IGH = Inhuman Growth Hormone
That. Is. GENIUS!
+Dakota Nelson Thanks, but not my original idea. Still, it makes sense in the context of this show as well as the larger MCU. Marvel is placing Inhumans front and center since they can't use X-men in the MCU.
+TheArchmagusEternal it wouldn't make sense all they have to do to get a new Inhuman is take a fish oil pill
+TheArchmagusEternal But IGH is an acronym for a company/agency. Not a thing.
Who is going to be the Defenders villain?
+xXLaZyB0neZXx Same I want to know
Lex Luthor
Mephisto
+xXLaZyB0neZXx It would be cool to have The Mandarin as the villain, just because we havent seen a thing about him since the Marvel One Shot "All hail the king"
Taskmaster?
Nice nearly 1 mil subs hopefully you can get there before the end of this year
Kilgrave has regenerative powers...
+John Spencer in the comics, but that doesnt mean he has them in the MCU
look at Norman Osborn in the Tobey Spiderman movies, in the comcis he's got healing factor which is why he survived after being impaled, but in th movie universe he stayed dead
my favorite WTF moment was the way Kilgrave tried to slap Jessica in the face when he started descibing what he was going to do with Patsy, and being very proud of himself thinking he had defeated Jessica. Really interested to see a season 2 and more of J.J.
Supergirl 8/10
Gotham 9/10
Daredevil 8.5/10
Flash 10/10
Arrow 8.5/10
Jessica Jones 11/10
Are you serious?
Supergirl 6/10
Gotham 7,9/10
Daredevil 9/10
Flash 7,5/10
Arrow 8/10
Jessica Jones 8,9/10
until middle of the show jj was great, but then it just became nonsensical when he was out to kill JJ.
Yea no daredevil is 9.5/10
Gotham 7/10
Super girl 6/10
Flash 8/10
Jessica jones 8.5/10
Jessica jones did drag on a little to much and a few non sensical plot devices were just to convenient and annoyed me but overall really interesting and fun series
Pouch King I agree with you, except gotham...first season is a 5 or 6 for me... but season 2 is much better.
Kilgrave is a fantastic villain, and I just love the instability of the purple man, it's a scary type of villain to encounter, somebody can blow you up yes, but to make you slice your own throat just by telling you, it's a different type of terror that eats away at your mind.
Just wish Kilgrave had a more satisfying death.
great videos man i go watch your videos right after seeing any of my tv shows, and hey you're soon to have 1,000,000 subscriber. well deserved
I agree with Jessica Jones being a fresh breath of air. Loved the interaction/relationship between Jess & Luke.
David Tennant and Vincent D'onofrio both did a great job. Both their portrayals of these villains were spot on. These Netflix series are so amazing, can't wait for DDS2, Luke Cage, Iron fist, Defenders, and hopefully a Punisher series!!
A few of my favourite moments:
1. When Killgrave's Dad wakes up with no arms
2. Night nurse talking to Jessica's ex-crackhead friend. (I ship them)
Dang sooo close to 1 million keep it up man!!
I've been waiting a long time for you to post this
Netflix portrays the best version of Marvel's villans. In my opinion:
1)Killgrave
2)Kingpin
3)Loki
Keep up the good work, Marvel and +Emergency Awesome!
Great review! Just posted my review for the season 1. Keep up the great work charlie!
When the Night Nurse placed a needle in Luke's eye to drain his head was sort of a nod to Daredevil when she instructed DD to stick the Russian through the eye to make him talk.
i respect luke and jessicas relationship in the comics and on the show. would be nice to see her on some of luke episodes.
My brother and I are huge marvel fans, so we loved it, the big surprise was our mom becoming a MAJOR Jessica Jones fangirl! Love your videos!
Can't stop laughing at the faces in the stills you grabbed
That 1 liner Killgrave said to an insignificant character "Go stand over their, face the wall until you die" HA!!!
i finished it now, i binge eat all the 13 episodes today, and with today i mean i finished it 4 am, i just couldn't stop, i just loved jessica jones the character and the series, she is just awesome
wow charlie I'm super early and I'm so happy with all this great content and happy with you to help explain it to us !
Such an amazing show! Never a dull moment. David Tennant did a phenomenal job as Killgrave. The acting overall was just on point tbh.
Killgrave's death was probably the best moment for me. I thought he might get away, but as soon as he got that close to Jessica, it was over. I think he forgot he couldn't control her in the moment and that was his last mistake.
was AWESOME seeing you on +Nerdist Companion show dude!
He did an AMAZING job acting his part out as Killgrave.
i absolutely loved Jessica Jones.
When Kilgrave's dad injected him with that serum to enhance his powers, I could've sworn his skin was turning a slight purple hue.
When Night Nurse brought up the idea of DD for him to help Jessica...total tease!
For JJ Q&A-- Do you think JJ will appear in Luke Cage series?
I finally watched the whole series! I had to wait so long but finally I can watch this awesome video
"Smile" NECKSNAP. I loved that.
The funniest thing, I've seen on this show, is Luke Cage (with super hard skin) wearing a tiny motocycle helmet. *lol*My favorite scene actually was Jessica talking to unconcious Luke. So very touching. The series was just absolutely amazing.
Jessica Jones is a really awesome series! I binge watched it across 3 days, and I don't regret it one bit :)
I love your channel. Keep up the great work!
He tries to convince Jessica (and the audience) that he deserves sympathy for his childhood and the fact that he can't hold a normal conversation with anyone, but he has zero remorse for his transgressions even after Jessica (who isn't under his control) spells it out to him.
huh! I almost forgot about JJ. Thanks for reminding again. I watched it all at once on the day of release :D
I totally love Netflix's Jessica Jones show 😍❤️❤️❤️!!!
You did a awesome job breaking down this series. 😉👌🏽
My top 5 marvel cinematic "villains" (including Sony and Fox characters) are:
1) Otto Octavius (Sam Raimi's Spider-man 2)
2) Wilson Fisk
3) Eric Lensher/Magneto
4) Killgrave
5) James Buchanan Barnes (Bucky)
That whole apartment scene was definitely the craziest WTF moment. Especially when the father was still alive. Did not expect that.
Great timing just happened to finish watching the series today!
I really liked the end scene where Malcolm unofficially joined team Alias!
BioCapsule yeah, the noir theme from JJ truly spot on, especially the musics and alcoholics char.
Zindaydra "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger" is a very commonly used phrase
Not Stronger this quote is Stranger
Okay, I misread your comment, my bad.
Almost 1M subs !
