Thanks again for watching, yes it looks like the first part of 2021 will not see any live shows. You are probably right and nothing will happen until 2022. Cheers Pete
A great selection of layouts, wasn't it? Grantham is spectacular, there's something a bit special about articulated coaches, especially in model form, isn't there?
Hi, thanks for your comments, yes I agree it was a great show. Unfortunately I didn't get to video all of the layouts, ran out of time. Many Thanks Pete
Hi Geoff, It was my first visit to a large show. So much to look at and not enough time to capture all the exhibits. Cheers for your great comments. Pete
Some nice layouts, but also some daft mistakes. Flat bottom rail didn't appear until after World War 2 in Britain! So the "Grantham" layout has used the wrong track type, and white ballast wouldn't have stayed clean for more than a couple of weeks. Due to brake block dust from every train and all the filth kicked out by every passing steam loco ! Further the complex rules covering what vehicles could be coupled together and where in a trains formation, each type of vehicle could or could not be positioned, seems to baffle so many modeller's today. So they get it all wrong on anything but the latest Post BR modern image layouts, where the real railway of today appears to have thrown the BR rule book in the dustbin, as a result of ignorant political stupidity!!
Looks like a great exhibition with some amazing layouts. I hope to be able to visit in 2022!

Great video, excellent selection of layouts. Chris
Nice to see someone film a few of my wagons on 'Grantham'. Enjoyed the footage, thanks for posting.
It was a pleasure, great layout and wagons......Cheers Pete
Great video, nice to see some steam and diesel locomotives on the layout. Cheers ... Josh
Hi Josh, there were far too many layouts for me capture on the day. Great to hear from you.....Pete

Nice show and some really nice layouts. The best for me was the LNER Grantham Layout.
Thank you for sharing.
