There’s even a worse one near the trucker gas station. Literally looks like you’re exiting to a road then boom you’re on the bridge. They did not let me turn around. I had to go through immigration in Canada then stopped again at the US border for a while because I’m puertorican and they couldn’t wrap their head around me being born in Puerto Rico and being a US citizen. This tells you, you only need a middle school education to be border patrol officers in the US.
Puerto Ricans are US citizens? I thought they were US nationals or US permanent residents or some weird term like that, well you learn something new every day
@@your_-_mom They are citizens that cannot vote for presidential elections in the US, that is all.
@@logandeutschmann thank you
@@bejadethcube8934 Yes we can as long as we live in the states which most of us do, but if you live in Puerto Rico then you can't cause it's not a state.
@@your_-_mom Yes, US citizens! There other stuff is all politics.
"What is the purpose of your visit to Canada?"
Me: "My satnav hates me"
Make a u turn when it is most convenient
Canadian border guard: "no problem bud take er easy."
The formula 1 engine noise 😂
That speedup truck sounds like a i4 sports bike 😂
When my business partner was 16, he used to take that entry into Canada, go to a liquor store in Windsor and buy beer all the time.
Which one the one by the bus terminal?
I just love this video because your truck sounds exactly like a high performance racecar and its fun to watch.
This guy has great editing skills
Happened to me near Niagara falls. Further out. I was kinds just taking a ride listening to music until I saw the border crossing haha. Parked myself where the truck stops and talked to the police in their car nearby and they let me through the right way.
Now, imagine driving in a snow storm and the sign is hidden...
That happened to me a long time ago!
This happened to me leaving Mexican town and I had to be escorted out by the police. They were cool about it.
Bruh I have to take this exit to get to Mexican town on verner lol . I never miss been there so many times for taqueria del Rey
I remember years ago when i was going to motor city casino and couldn't get over. GPS eventually lead me to this exit and I flubbed up ending up on the bridge exit. I got a enhanced license so I just changed my destination. Got to the checkpoint and said I was going to Ceasars. Was gambling away on the floor a short time later.
I did that In Vermont once…. They were NOT friendly about it!
it's funny how the truck sounds like a formula 1 car when sped up
Sounds like a motorcycle engine in that truck
I can't unhear this now lol
Yea cause it’s sped up that’s funny
That's BC as you can see, he speed up the video. That's the volvos chipmunk voice.
Thats what I was thinking about 🤣
It is a gsxr
I accidentally took this exit trying to go to a Mexican restaurant and a cop had to help me leave this is very true!!
"Reason for entry?"
"I want some Mexican food."
"Sir, this is Canada. You're nowhere near Mexico."
The semi sounded like a f1 car low rev gear banging
Good info very useful. Love the sound.
I thought you were on a motorcycle 😂
Motorcycle. Definitely.
Im fried asf rn I definitely thought it was a motorcycle too
Absolutely did that, I backed my ass all the way out.
Hahahaha I almost found myself in the same situation but thankfully got off at vernor
that's a crazy soundin f1 car if ive ever heard one
I took it during Movement back in 2012 rolling my ass off 😂 they were very understanding
I nearly did this at the tunnel 😅. That freeway exit just feels wrong, like you see the warnings, but your brain is is like no way there has to be a turnaround 😮.
I live here and did it twice in my life.. first time they just sent me back.. second time j put the car in reverse cuz it wasn't busy... all this just trying to get to southwest for some Mexican food😂
> Mexico
Wrong border, amigo
@@Mindraker1Mexican Village is in southwest Detroit.
The sped up sound of the motor lmfao sounds like an F1 car
The high pitched engine sounds like an F1 car
Its absolutely ridiculous that we don't just have an open border with Canada ngl
We used to. Then 9/11 happened
Seriously they are like Minnesotans to me lol
No thanks
@@randomdude1053 good thing no one gives a shit about how you feel!
Detroit Become -Human- Criminal
It says BRIDGE to Canada. Last I heard there are no turn offs on a Bridge.
Oh we've got a few. South of S.W. Detroit I-75 is on a 5-mile long bridge over an industrialized area, Marathon refinery, tracks, the rouge river. On the N.B. Side there is an exit to Dearborn ave. from the bridge.
What do you think a bridge is?
today i learned that if you fast forward a truck it sounds like a sportbike
I liked the sound of the sped up video. It made the truck sound like an F1 car.😂
You cut out the best part. That bridge is scary in a big truck. It moves on its own. And sometimes the potholes punch clear through the bridge deck and you can see the water beneath. 💀
Yes Matty margins bridge is beat the hell out of. Holes in it. Luckily a new bridge is being built south of downtown Detroit
Ever been over Mackinac?
@@ronaldarchibald2506have you crossed the 90 year old bridge latley? All mew cement no holes
They replaced it all with concrete. Much better now.
I haven't seen the Ambassador Bridge and those highway connections in prolly 2 decades. That's the part of this video I'm most stoked about, thank you!!
The new bridge is just getting it's center

Proceeds to not wait for a patrol car and just leaves 😂😂😂
the sound of a spedup truck engine sounds like an f1 car, so my adhd missed the entire thing the first time
I live in Detroit and made a mistake taking this exit. I was searched and harassed before being released
fk 12
I had a worker of mine from out of state accidentally take this exit , and he was detained for 6 hrs because his vehicle smelled like Marijuana
Nobody paying attention to how the truck sounds like an F1 car when sped up?
Went to Windsor Canada 20 years ago for my then girlfriends birthday still one of our favorite vacations
I’ve did this once and had to wait 2 hours for them to let me out.
Two hours? I had to wait a year
@@alterior8869 whats the story behind this
Port Huron Michigan to Canada is the same way
Except the bridge to Sarnia does not require taking a potentially confusing exit, you just stay on I-94, then you cross and it becomes the 402
In San Diego, specifically the Otay Ranch border crossing, it's very similar. It does give you chances to get out but not many. I've nearly gone across the border on my way to the Las Americas mall because the exit for the mall is also the last exit if your not crossing in car.
Sped up rigs sound like an F1 😂😂
Great advice. I live about 10 miles from the Twilight Zone exit , thought i.saw Rod Serling standing there with cigarette in hand.
Yup, been to ALOT of Red Wing games and as a kid my mom would tell me we almost accidentally went into Canada. Now I know the names of the exits lol all I knew about before was the Ambassador Bridge that takes you over there. I also found out (eventually after being freaked out a few times) that it happens to people all of the time so they are used to having to help a couple people a day turn around. Because getting into Canada is way easier than getting back here in the States.
What do you mean? All you need to do is turn around and head back over the bridge, there is no Canadian Agency torturing you if you want to go home.
@@CanadianCCP Are you a South Park Canadian or something? I meant if you actually got over and went into Windsor or deep into Ontario as far as going and coming back. And it’s the US side that gives us a hard time getting back in. Last time I went to visit family near Tobermory the Canadian side ACTUALLY gave us a hard time getting over there too. We were clearly a family on vacation and they searched our minivan for a good 4 hours and made us wait in their little border waiting room. You don’t always have to jump to defend your Country especially when someone isn’t saying anything bad about it. Plus, it’s where half of my family is from…
Kinda same deal on the I-10 exit to Mexico in El Paso, a last warning exit to south central EP and then boom Juarez!
When your truck is sped up it sounds like a race car lol
I take that exit all the time crossing over to see my friends! Love Detroit.
When I first started driving, the trainers GPS told me to go that way lmao. Didn't help that all my trainer did was drink beer 24/7. I definitely didn't take that exit, I knew where it went lol. They aren't as nice as you think, they can put you in Canadian prison if you have a firearm or knife in your truck. Be careful.
Love the sound of your racecar engine
his truck on 2x sounds like F1
