@@sampadahule1222 PSU generally requires good GATE score and there are many job openings for core branches so I guess clearing GATE would be the first choice. That's why raja also says it took more years.

Be clever, not stupid. Every engineering has a big potential. It's up to you how are you dealing with it. If you are looking just for money, there are tonnes of other works and businesses then focus on them. Do not follow the traditional way.

@@csthiyagu well Engineering interviews are hard to crack if you don't have a command over English language. Branches like Civil Engineering demand patience. If you get 1 year experience in core sector despite of low salary and learn your stuff efficiently you will definitely earn 1 lakh per month after 1 year. Civil Engineering overlooking railway construction earn 1 crore over 3hr period. Software Engineers don't get such opportunities.

If you can pay fees like 2 or 3 lacs then go for Upgrad data science 12 month course, Upgrad will definitely give you job. Before deciding which class to join, ask about their placement statistics. I am also mechanical engineer, hence suggesting you.

@@VinodKumar-qn1vk Yes, there is definitely a chance in IT for you. But you should first switch to other Mechanical job immediately which will have normal work pressure(9 hrs per day). This will allow you to prepare for new IT skills or join some class for IT. MBA will also be a good option because it will consider your experience. You can also try giving maximum interviews based on current experience.

@@himanshuchaubey4206 i started for 15k in 2018, after 3yr it became 16k🤣 and shifted to another company and it became 24k now. The work also increased by 5x. Need to travel 3k km every week. Cant plan any outings with friends or family. Veey tiring and uncertain

As you give your 2 year for govt. Job... Now you give only 2 or 3 month on java C language & phython... And easily switch towards IT job. After 2-3 year when you will get 10 lakhs+ yearly package, your this 2 year gap has no value in your life and your life will go smoothly.

What i think is
Try searching job in textile . IT industry is already well settled but textile industry is growing . Yes there r jobs in IT bcoz everything is technology based . But after few years textile industry will also be digitize.
I think it's better to stay in your sector n become pro ( IF YOU R 100% SURE OF YOUR KNOWLEDGE IN TEXTILE).
Because i am Electrical passout and i found i dont have interest towards Electrical Engineering coz i have to read again n again before every interview and i forget after some time.
Bcoz diploma n ITI passout have more practical knowledge than engineers. So core sector looking more labours in less salary. Whether it be civil, mechanical electrical.
So if you r sure then stick to textile, govt also bringing new laws to improve this sector.

I have done engineering in electrical and electronics then look6at the job flexibility and growth, i decided to move into IT field then I learned full stack java development and then when i started looking for the job, and I didn't get one due to some of the reasons and then i also realised how Luck plays an important role, now looking at my financial condition i joined bpo and i am regretting my decisions i have taken so far and messed up life. Please guys don't take the decision on randomly, do what you really wanted to be and be in the field of your areas of interest 🙏

General IT companies requires education as BCS, BCA or any other engineering degree. Get consultation from IT course providing institute, they'll guide you. You may be eligible with BSc

Better complete first graduation. IT sector needs degree holder employees. So try to get BCA, BSC etc computer related degree if possible, or else complete degree in your own field and do any it related course
