Hey, everyone! I've been delving into RUclips, focusing on storytelling and creative video-making. Recently stumbled upon VideoGPT, and it's been a total game-changer. My videos now have this professional quality that has really boosted my confidence.
Thanks so much! I was looking for an AI that would give the most natural outcome; I stumbled upon your video and decided to try it and it's actually really good for anime style. The discord as the main interface is genius being a gamer. Thanks for saving me time and money.
Thank you sooo much Wade McMaster, your video help me a lot (even more than a lot) ! Now I am able to have more control on the style that I wanna give to images. Thank you man, you are a goat🔥
Nice, I've have done much experimenting with Midjourney, I've mostly messed with Dalle 3, I tent to used 'Screenshot' instead of 'Screencap,' I should experiment witch one is better, I also like to use the phrase 'anime cartoon show', That tends to help get that anime Screenshot/Screencap look. My favorite anime to use as a refence is Pretty Cure
My friend I made a comment last about making a novel and wanting to create consistent characters and you linked one of your previous videos , I’ve watched the video you linked and your videos are amazing. However I’m trying to create the first scene of my novel, I made the character first then insert him as a character when prompting the first scene I’m trying to make. But it’s not going well. The character I made whenever I try to put him in the first scene he is only doing the same pose as when I made him, or same face, i know it’s new and all but I’ve been trying for like 20 hours. However I thank you for your time & help
First of thank you for the super thanks! Have you tried using vary region by any chance? You can type in /settings in discord and turn on remix mode. Then hit vary region on an upscaled image. You could select your character and delete the prompt (keeping character reference) and write a pose as the prompt. Also try adding character weight ( so add --cw and bring the number down, 100 being the highest). Also in vary region you can select the face and try a different emotion (?). I use vary region a lot for small details, hopefully that fixes the issue you're having :)
@@WadeMcMaster I’ve caught onto all these tips from your other video, I’m using the iPad version. The niji journey it’s still the same thing so I’m going to make dinner and attack thank you!!!!!! I’ll update u on how things are going thanks again
This was cool and useful. Especially since I just started using the Niji App on my phone and iPad instead of Discord. It’s nice to be able to switch between them all, but anyway, yeah, been experimenting with anime a bit and this couldn’t have come at a better time!
This video is up to date. However, you just need to switch to niji 6 in the prompt settings (or just type --niji at the end of your prompt). Otherwise, this is all made on the current, latest niji model and is designed around the prompt itself to be timeless. I could add more styles but function wise there's nothing to update really
You can image prompt with this too, upload some images to the website or use URLs in discord. Either as an image prompt or character reference ( use --cref URL URL (etc) in discord or click the little character reference icon on the websites I age prompt area
Good as always Wade! Did you notice anything strange about Niji 6 a short time after it came out? It seemed to favor a rather expressive female nature for a little bit. Just wondering if anyone else were experiencing the same thing?
I'm not up with CivitAI unfortunately. If they have the tool for character consistency that would be the go, otherwise it can be difficult butyou'd need to anil the character in your prompt to get similar.
Man I love u! This is exactly what I was looking for, I’m trying to create a 10 slide short anime novel that’s how I ended up here. I’ve watch the entire video but I need help with a few things. If I’m making a story how can I make the character in different scenes of the story but it’s the same character and also is the basic subscription enough? Your answer would mean a lot and also if there’s any tip you would like put in incase I missed it I’d appreciate it!
Basic should work! I would use Character Consistency in Niji to keep your character dialled in. Here's a video on it: ruclips.net/video/w_3erk8twN0/видео.html
@@WadeMcMaster you really are the BEST I tell ya!!! Thanks make new the journey begins. Going through your channel to see tips on other topics. Thanks again mate can’t thank you enough
It's not sorry mate, but you can try these prompt styles in any Ai Art platform, that's the good thing about using this kind of terminology, it is reasonably universal to a degree
Awesome video helped out a lot. But im still a little confused. I want to take screen shots from a video game, or movie, and turn it into an old school 80s-90s anime style with it still being close to the source image. Kinda like all those "elden ring as a 90s anime" videos popping up.
I would use Leonardo AI and Image guidance for that as Midjourney doesn't tend to generate too close to images supplied. Their control net features in Image guidance are awesome for that kind of thing
im a huge anime fans and i really like the content of the video! do you know any other tools that are free to generate anime character? im using Stylar and want to learn more about other ai tools
hi, thanks for the tutorial. how do I bring up this pop up 6:02 , when I press that button, it immediately generates another image without showing a pop up to edit the prompt
I'm looking to create pictures from characters as if they would be part of that anime universe, for example: what would be the best prompt to use to create Sasuke Uchiha designed in the style of Demon Slayer, Attack On Titan, Dragonball etc. so that he is recognizable and wearing the outfit of the respective anime and not his own? Hope anyone can help me :)
I cant say for sure process wise, I'd need to test and nut it out. But simple wording would be first (Pikachu in the style of Naruto). The next step beyond would be trying character references, image and style references. I think I'll investigate and see what I can come up with
Thanks for the tutorial, I wanted to ask, do you happen to know how, for example, I can turn a character into a different drawing? For example: I want the anime character Goku to be drawn like in the anime one piece, so that the drawing is not like in Dragonball where my character is from, but like in the anime that I wrote. But no matter what I write, the pictures come out completely different, nothing from my conditions not complied with, what should I do?
You can generate a normal pic of Goku and use the image as a character reference? This video may help: ruclips.net/video/w_3erk8twN0/видео.htmlsi=UvrvJMmd4dHefgc7
The film director Yoshiaki Kwajiri , is near difficult to get! He did Wicked City,Vampire Hunter D,Ninja Scroll and it's really odd to him him almost non-existent on this software
@@WadeMcMasterSo reporting back! I have a premium profile but I hate burning my fast hours, every now and then relax hours begin to move as fast as fast hours so I took advantage of the opportunity as it presented itself. I found something really interesting but putting it on RAW and dropping the style to 0, is style becomes apparent but it gets weirder you cannot use multiple subjects as they can begin to distract so a prompt that acts as a collective works better instead of listing 5 things gothic just like Gothic-science fiction along with the era he came out in. Civitai does his style immediate. I am addicted to using midjourney it literally took me 9 straight hours to figure this out, in most cases it is better to just use images as references . Thanks for reading
I would use --Niji 6 (obviously) then try their name. If that fails add the name of the show, like "kenshiro, character from fist of the North Star," then some descriptive words
I'd also add that it may know most mainstream characters but maybe not everything. You could try adding a character reference "--cref image-url" (use an image of the character)
@@WadeMcMaster what about underrated characters that the ai might not know. Like for example : olden day anime like pokemon or beyblade or doraemon etc
You could try character reference, adding --cref [image url] to the end of your prompt (the image url being the url image of the character). It is more designed for AI generated characters, but give it a try either way. This may help: ruclips.net/video/w_3erk8twN0/видео.htmlsi=bxhQYkIBipf4WHGJ
You could try, midjourney isn't as good as astable diffusion for that (so Leonardo AI or alpaca Chroma could be worth trying if you don't get the results you want)
I would consider generating a few images, same prompt, and keeping them aside for the style reference tool ( --sref ) You could then use the character reference tool for your characters too
I'm definitely looking in that direction - a 'pop culture' series going through cartoons, movies, etc would be a lot of fun and I think people would enjoy playing with the results.
