AFPEIK (Association of Film Producing Educational Institutions of Kenya) was launched in 2012 by the Kenya National Drama Festival Committee. Schools, colleges and universities were then invited to produce films/videos culminating in the national drama festival, with a special hall prepared for the films during the fete. We have seen ground breaking films that actually define a unique perspectives in film production in Kenya.
