I think the argument is about 'culture, traditions, etc".... That can be quite loaded.... But well It is from the Old Adam hence it needs to be crucified to become part of the resurrection. I mean we also don't say that we are messianic pagans, messianic Muslims or whatever other traditions comes to mind there.

God wants to say "Everyone" is one in Messiah. There is neither Jew nor Gentile, neither slave nor free, nor is there male and female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:28 We have different ethnic backgrounds etc but we all are in one in Messiah. The term respectively tho "Messianic Jewish" is not biblical, Paul never referred Cephas as a "messianic Jew" in scriptures. "“If you, who are a Jew, live like a Gentile and not like a Jew, how can you compel the Gentiles to live like Jews?” Galatians 2:14 Yh, he never refer Cephas as a "Messianic Jews" with all due respect. But also to emphasise Jesus came to his own, and his own rejected him in history. So that's why it's quite unique when a Jew comes to faith in Yeshua today. Like a Jew who believes in Jesus as their Messiah. Ppl may not understand how a Jew can be Christian at same time, because Jesus was rejected by his own, when he came to them. If a person is a Jew and a nachamanist (a believer in Nachman of breslov) ppl seem understand that. Because the false prophets are well spoken of. But yh the term "Christian" was specifically used when the Jews went Antioch and made disciples there. So it makes sense to refer to non-Jews who believe in Jesus as Christian today.

I am half Irish/half Ashkenazi, Catholic, American. I was brought up strict Catholic (faith), but was raised in both Irish and Jewish Cultures. I am proud of being mixed, and am from two very old tribes. I love Israel and will always stand shoulder-to-shoulder with my Jewish Brothers and Sisters there and from around the Globe. As an Israeli Jewish believer in Yeshua living overseas , personally to be called a Messianic Jew/believer annoys me : Gentiles are christians and i am Messianic ??? such nonsense , and in my opinion divisive. The word "christianos" is mentioned 3 times in the New Testament, Jews - Paul and Peter- talking to other Jews making the emphasis that now they are followers of Christ/ of the long awaited Mashiach , not "regular" Jews anymore, now christians- and thus have a measure added to them which makes them to see themselves and need to behave differently. Over time/ history the word Christians has become synonym with Gentiles as if having nothing to do with Jews, which is completely false !!!! ( i need to look up the references...) It drives me bunkers !!!!

My Dad was Jewish and a Roman Catholic Convert. Mom was Irish Catholic (RC) they got divorced and I gave my life to Christ. I was raised Roman Catholic till 9 then I gave my life to Christ and at 17 I joined a Christ following Swedish Baptist Church. I have never been "Jewish" because the Jews (My Cousins) never considered my Jewish, even though we are all related and I have Jewish Grandparents, Cousins and great Uncles and Aunts. I have always thought of myself as a Christian and not a messianic Jew but my life and Messianic Jews lives to intersect, and I have lots of Messianic Jews for Friends. I wear a start of David with a Cross and Jews ask me and I tell them I'm a follower of Christ and I'm a Paternal Jew. Keep up the good work guys....
Same here. I’m a paternal Jew on my dad’s side and my mom Irish Catholic. My dad’s family identifies as messianic believers and we are from Tribe of Levi. Always referred myself as Christian with Jewish heritage. I wear my messianic necklace and love it. Great to see someone who have something in common with me.

I love Israel. I'm grateful to God for you because you are sharing the Jewish Jesus who prophetically fulfilled all that the Bible said about the Messiah. His sacrifice on the cross was during Passover. He was the perfect sinless atonement for our sin. He paid the price that we could not. He also used the word of God to defeat Satan.

@Lena Without controversy, the gospel was first preached only to the Jews. All the 120 persons who were in waiting in the upper room for the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:13-15) and Acts 2 were all Jews. When Peter preached and the 3000 persons were saved, they were all JEWS. Re-read Peter's sermon and see that it was for a Jewish audience. The first Gentile who received salvation was Cornelius, the Italian centurion in Acts 10. God Almighty HIMSELF had to give Peter a very clear vision to preach the gospel to this Gentile (uncircumcised) who loved God. Cornelius and his entire household received salvation. In Acts 11 Peter was accosted by the apostles and brethren in Judea and who contended with him that he had gone 'to men uncircumcised' and ate with them. Peter had to explain to them how God instructed him to preach the gospel to this Gentile which resulted in him and his household being converted. In Acts 9 we see the conversion of Paul who was Saul. He preached first to the Jews but when they opposed the gospel, Jesus Christ directed him to preach to the Gentiles (Acts 13) while Peter continued ministering mainly to Jews. The disciples were first called Christians in Acts 11:26. The book of Acts clearly shows the progression of the events which is good. The most important thing which we all will agree is there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved Jews or Gentiles - the name of Yeshua Ha Mashiach, Jesus Christ Messiah. I realize that the term 'Christian' might be a stumbling block to Jews who don't realize that becoming a Christian isn't a forsaking of their Jewish heritage. However, even the term 'christian' which actually means 'little christ' was first given to Jewish believers. So even our messianic brothers shouldn't insist on a specific term one way or the other. But I understand that the stumbling block is there. So do what you must do to win your brethren, just as Paul took Timothy to be circumcised so that he would be accepted.

It truly fills me with joy to see more Jews following the Messiah Jesus recently, truly, may the whole of Isreal repent and accept the gift that was promised onto Them originally and spread thereafter to the whole world, so that no matter if you're a Jew or a Gentile, you are united as a citizen of Heaven.
Well, like you said, a Chinese buddhist who accepts Christ is no longer a buddhist. But, we don't go around calling them "Chinese Christians". There is no point. I am part Mohawk Indian, Scottish and Scandinavian. I don't go around calling myself a Mohawk Christian, etc. It's simply unnecessary. It causes division. There should be no division among those in Christ. Paul said, 1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment. 1 Corinthians 1:11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you. 1 Corinthians 1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ. 1 Corinthians 1:13 *Is Christ divided?* was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul? Jesus said: John 3:3 ...Verily, verily, I say unto thee, *Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.* So, if you want to call yourself a "Messianic Jew", be my guest. But, the important thing is: Are you Born-Again? Regardless of whether you call yourself "Christian" or not. There are plenty of people who identify as Christian that are not "Born-Again". And there are plenty of those who identify as "Messianic Jews" that aren't Born-Again. Not saying you are one of those, but these "phrases" just causes division and strife.
I totally hear you and agree generally that it's important not to cause division. Most Jews see themselves in terms of our tribal culture and history, though. And actually, Native American tribes are a great example -- there are a lot of ministries and churches focused on tribes and centered in tribal life. You may not personally be a part of that, and that's ok, but we're all born into contexts and unique communities. The Chinese Christian is still Chinese, and being Chinese will always be part of who that individual is, although they are also a Christian. Their religion and ethnicity are part of how they experience the world and understand it. The beauty of faith is that every tribe and every human-made division can be brought together through the work of G_d.
The devil wants me to lose my faith but Lord it’s not working. Only you Lord knows the burdens I face. I’m a single mom and it is hard to have everything on my shoulders. Especially because both of my sons are special needs but despite the challenges I face. I keep faith in Jesus even as I struggle to pay rent and as I struggle to buy groceries for my children. As a christian that’s all I can do. Waiting on you Jesus.❤️

But what is your purpose in posting your prayers openly like this? I feel for you, and have replied to you several times, just like I have seen others reply to you. But I have never seen you reply to a single comment. So, my dear, if it is some form of interaction, or help, that you want - why not be more clear about it? I have seen people asking you how they can help. I have also seen you mention that your account was hijacked, is this right? I’m a Christian and love and call my Jewish brothers and sisters Messianic Jews. Your heritage is Jewish and I love your traditions, but as long as you understand you now live under grace not the law! Paul explains it very well. I love how you two say the New Testament is so “Jewish!” Written by Jews who came to love and follow Jesus!

Love the conversation guys… So I am a gentile Christian… A believer in Jesus Christ… I have been to Israel, close friends there to our messianic Jews… Particularly the Solu folks. I had them at my church in the US… I love walking in relationship with them following our mutual Messiah! He has reconciled all of us in the same way to himself to the cross in the resurrection… But I am not a Jew. In Acts 11,26 is said, that the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. In that city, believers were starting to preach the gospel to Grecians, others were only preaching to jews before (Verse 19+20). Im deeply thankful for receiving salvation which is coming from the jews. I agree with everything in the video but the term christians should include messianic jews and there should be no separation.
I am an American Gentile believer and I I always believed that a Jewish person should never give up their culture. It is not my culture, but I would be proud if it was. The Apostle Paul teaches in the Book of Romans (New Testament) that both Jews and Gentiles are made into one people through Messiah. That was always God's plan for all people. Jesus is the Messiah and King of all the earth.

I was born and raised as greek christian orthodox, the most traditional christian faith and always took for granted the judean origin of my faith. I don’t know where I would fall.. I am a Christian, and wasn’t raised Jewish but my ancestors (on both sides) were Sephardic Jews. They were persecuted for a long time and were forced to convert to Catholicism. They are still mostly catholic but in name only. My parents and I are the only ones that are not catholic anymore. I guess I am a Christian with Jewish ancestry. Either way, Yeshua is my Lord and Savior. He’s my everything.

As an Israeli Jewish believer in Yeshua living overseas , personally to be called a Messianic Jew/believer annoys me : Gentiles are christians and i am Messianic ??? such nonsense , and in my opinion divisive. The word "christianos" is mentioned 3 times in the New Testament, Jews - Paul and Peter- talking to other Jews making the emphasis that now they are followers of Christ/ of the long awaited Mashiach , not "regular" Jews anymore, now christians- and thus have a measure added to them which makes them to see themselves and need to behave differently. Over time/ history the word Christians has become synonym with Gentiles as if having nothing to do with Jews, which is completely false !!!! ( i need to look up the references...) My Dad was Jewish and a Roman Catholic Convert. Mom was Irish Catholic (RC) they got divorced and I gave my life to Christ. I was raised Roman Catholic till 9 then I gave my life to Christ and at 17 I joined a Christ following Swedish Baptist Church. I have never been "Jewish" because the Jews (My Cousins) never considered my Jewish, even though we are all related and I have Jewish Grandparents, Cousins and great Uncles and Aunts. I have always thought of myself as a Christian and not a messianic Jew but my life and Messianic Jews lives to intersect, and I have lots of Messianic Jews for Friends. I wear a start of David with a Cross and Jews ask me and I tell them I'm a follower of Christ and I'm a Paternal Jew. Keep up the good work guys....

@Lena Without controversy, the gospel was first preached only to the Jews. All the 120 persons who were in waiting in the upper room for the baptism of the Holy Spirit (Acts 1:13-15) and Acts 2 were all Jews. When Peter preached and the 3000 persons were saved, they were all JEWS. Re-read Peter's sermon and see that it was for a Jewish audience. The first Gentile who received salvation was Cornelius, the Italian centurion in Acts 10. God Almighty HIMSELF had to give Peter a very clear vision to preach the gospel to this Gentile (uncircumcised) who loved God. Cornelius and his entire household received salvation. In Acts 11 Peter was accosted by the apostles and brethren in Judea and who contended with him that he had gone 'to men uncircumcised' and ate with them. Peter had to explain to them how God instructed him to preach the gospel to this Gentile which resulted in him and his household being converted.
In Acts 9 we see the conversion of Paul who was Saul. He preached first to the Jews but when they opposed the gospel, Jesus Christ directed him to preach to the Gentiles (Acts 13) while Peter continued ministering mainly to Jews. The disciples were first called Christians in Acts 11:26. The book of Acts clearly shows the progression of the events which is good. The most important thing which we all will agree is there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved Jews or Gentiles - the name of Yeshua Ha Mashiach, Jesus Christ Messiah. I am so thrilled that salvation is available to whosoever will and that Jews especially are coming to their Messiah!💃💃💃🕎✡

I realize that the term 'Christian' might be a stumbling block to Jews who don't realize that becoming a Christian isn't a forsaking of their Jewish heritage. However, even the term 'christian' which actually means 'little christ' was first given to Jewish believers. So even our messianic brothers shouldn't insist on a specific term one way or the other. But I understand that the stumbling block is there. So do what you must do to win your brethren, just as Paul took Timothy to be circumcised so that he would be accepted.
The point was to not create a distinction between Gentiles and Jews. We are all one in Christ. All followers of Christ. Christian.

It truly fills me with joy to see more Jews following the Messiah Jesus recently, truly, may the whole of Isreal repent and accept the gift that was promised onto Them originally and spread thereafter to the whole world, so that no matter if you're a Jew or a Gentile, you are united as a citizen of Heaven.
Well, like you said, a Chinese buddhist who accepts Christ is no longer a buddhist. But, we don't go around calling them "Chinese Christians". There is no point. I am part Mohawk Indian, Scottish and Scandinavian. I don't go around calling myself a Mohawk Christian, etc. It's simply unnecessary. It causes division. There should be no division among those in Christ. Paul said,
1 Corinthians 1:10 Now I beseech you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all speak the same thing, and that there be no divisions among you; but that ye be perfectly joined together in the same mind and in the same judgment.
1 Corinthians 1:11 For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
1 Corinthians 1:12 Now this I say, that every one of you saith, I am of Paul; and I of Apollos; and I of Cephas; and I of Christ.
1 Corinthians 1:13 *Is Christ divided?* was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in the name of Paul?

So, if you want to call yourself a "Messianic Jew", be my guest. But, the important thing is: Are you Born-Again? Regardless of whether you call yourself "Christian" or not. There are plenty of people who identify as Christian that are not "Born-Again". And there are plenty of those who identify as "Messianic Jews" that aren't Born-Again. Not saying you are one of those, but these "phrases" just causes division and strife.
I totally hear you and agree generally that it's important not to cause division. Most Jews see themselves in terms of our tribal culture and history, though. And actually, Native American tribes are a great example -- there are a lot of ministries and churches focused on tribes and centered in tribal life. You may not personally be a part of that, and that's ok, but we're all born into contexts and unique communities. The Chinese Christian is still Chinese, and being Chinese will always be part of who that individual is, although they are also a Christian. Their religion and ethnicity are part of how they experience the world and understand it. The beauty of faith is that every tribe and every human-made division can be brought together through the work of G_d.
He has made us all one.

Love the conversation guys… So I am a gentile Christian… A believer in Jesus Christ… I have been to Israel, close friends there to our messianic Jews… Particularly the Solu folks. I had them at my church in the US… I love walking in relationship with them following our mutual Messiah! He has reconciled all of us in the same way to himself to the cross in the resurrection… But I am not a Jew. I’m a gentle Christian grafted into the vine, I support the root… This growing trend of Christians who want to think that we as the Christian church, the gentile Christian church have supplanted the Jews, not so not in any way!!! I'm Swedish, and I love my language, traditions, food and culture - but my *first citizenship* is in the Kingdom of God - and I love how colourful and beautiful our family is. How we can come from so totally different cultures and backgrounds, yet together all worship and love our Lord and Saviour together! - And we also love Israel and the Jewish people.
In Acts 11,26 is said, that the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. In that city, believers were starting to preach the gospel to Grecians, others were only preaching to jews before (Verse 19+20).
Im deeply thankful for receiving salvation which is coming from the jews.

I am an American Gentile believer and I I always believed that a Jewish person should never give up their culture. It is not my culture, but I would be proud if it was. The Apostle Paul teaches in the Book of Romans (New Testament) that both Jews and Gentiles are made into one people through Messiah. That was always God's plan for all people. Jesus is the Messiah and King of all the earth.

So how does Torah play into Messianic Judaism vs a Messianic Jew. My experience would be a Jewish Christian or a Hebrew Christian holds this differently than a Messianic Jew.

Hello, a question, if you Christians say that Jesus Christ was sacrificed and there is no need to sacrifice a red bull, then why does it say in the book of Ezekiel, verse 45:22, when it says about true Messiah, (and on that day the savior or massiah will sacrifices the sin-offering cow for himself and for all the people of the earth) Ezekiel talks about the rebuilding of the temple in the end times from verses 40 to 48 and the entire dimensions of the temple in the book according to what God showed him It has been written that the prophet Ezekiel was a captive in Babylon,If this prophecy was about the construction of the second temple, then Jesus did not exist to complete this prophecy because Jesus was born around four hundred years after second temple.if you say in second coming, Jesus will fulfilled this prophecy, again it is all against your belief, because you said no need any sacrifice, after Jesus sacrifice himself!! could you please tell me this prophecy, belong to which massiah, that not happened yet????

Hi gyus I really love the godly work you do and I m sure Jesus will reward you!!It its funny for me when I hear people having second thoughts about the judean origin of the gospel. I was born and raised as greek christian orthodox, the most traditional christian faith and always took for granted the judean origin of my faith. I kind of felt relative to the jews and saint and prophets like Elija, jerrmiah, Isaiah being the most beloved and closest saints to us. I always felt proud for pious jews saints and prophets of the past and I myself consider myself half jew as relatef to Jesus, Saul- Paul, John, James and the disciples of jesus Christ. So Jesus unites all peoples as brothers together but on the other hand jerusalem and the holy land remains our spiritual birtplace. May God bless you and give you the grace of his holy spirit!!!

Last Supper was a Seder. Yeshua is saying, "celebrate Pesach in remembrance of me"

This is accurate.Jew or gentile,as believers in Jesus, we are brothers and sisters in Christ, but by no means should Jews lose their identity and as gentiles we shouldn't try to convince others that we are jewish.

I don’t know where I would fall.. I am a Christian, and wasn’t raised Jewish but my ancestors (on both sides) were Sephardic Jews. They were persecuted for a long time and were forced to convert to Catholicism. They are still mostly catholic but in name only. My parents and I are the only ones that are not catholic anymore. I guess I am a Christian with Jewish ancestry. Either way, Yeshua is my Lord and Savior. He’s my everything.
So you have to be honest and follow what you say
- if you consider that a Buddhist from China who puts his faith in Jesus is no longer Buddhist but still Chinese
- then an Jew from Israel who puts is faith in Jesus is no longer Jew but still Israeli
When you decide to make Jesus your savior and the cornerstone of your life, you don’t need anything else.
As it is said :
