Whoever arranged this is a freaking genius. We all know putting Taeyeon and Changmin together will make a song pleasing to the ear no matter what. But adding Winter, giving her soothing adlibs, not forcing her to compete with the two regarding hitting high notes, makes this a masterpiece. They sounded so amazing, what a masterpiece.

Winter's performance makes the story feel realistic and vulnerable, while Taeyeon and Changmin's parts give power and a more corporeal legitimacy to the words being sung. The song would be missing something if it was *just* a virtuosity showcase. It's better to serve the music well (and allow idols to indulge their various abilities) than to always give everyone something sensational. Besides, that would be tiring, no? And I think it's more respectful to Winter to appreciate that she can lend beauty to a song in multiple ways, even if some might see it as a back seat role. Overall I agree this arrangement is astounding. My favorite track on the album.
